Here's a trick that I learned long ago. To gain attention with your blog, you post stuff that gathers attention. Typically, that would include really hilarious stuff, or just stuff that makes people stop and go "lol wut?". Normally, though, sigs qualify as neither. Bfahome's blog is an excellent example of the way to do things the right way for attention. :)
