Glasliding

Okay, so i went on my Geology 101 Mt. Rainier Field Trip. I got to drive up the windy roads in a large van... let me tell you, my adrenaline got pumping a few times on that road. It was an excellent day and I got some awesome shots... but we also went glasliding. Basically its sliding down a glacier (or snowbank, in our case) I got some pictures that are just EPIC. I went down twice. The first time I took y camera and filmed a short movie... half way down a clump of snow covered the lens, so I lost that part of the slide. Then I turned around and climbed back up... I got a few nice shots, but the climb was killer hard. Very steep. Then I handed my camera over and went down again super speedy. However, I hit a bump and lost my hat and glasses... so I had to make a quick break and then climb back up again to search for my missing spectacles... I did get them, but somebody else pointed them out to me first. (The hat, of course, was easy to find).

This picture isn't of me (since I couldn't really take an action shot of myself going down at that angle) but still... it's epic. Yes, that slope is real. This photo has only been altered by lighting and color enhancement... the scene is totally legit.
