System Restore?

Owning much knowledge in the way a computer functions, I do not. The thing wasn't an important document, just something I was typing out of boredom for a long while so all I lost was what I was going to put on BZP due to my boredom having made me do so. If I wanted to make it again, I'd probably just retype and modify what I had so it sounds better -- cuz do to the time elapsed writing it, some parts were more rushed than others.

I'm just not so happy that she deleted it on purpose, if it was an accident I wouldn't make much of a deal out of it.

Is it possible to retrieve it from the Recycle Bin, or has the Bin been cleared out?

Also I wonder if I'm blessed that I have an older sibling instead of a younger one...

I have a twin, so we don't backstab each other or anything.

I didn't save the document, which is my fault, and she just hit the "X" and shut the computer off which deleted it from existence.
