Pink

I don't get why people see it as overly-feminine. Sure it can be, but from the same cue I see it as unisex.

In addition, from the same cue that it can be stereotypically feminine it can also be stereotypically masculine. By which I mean getting tackled by other overly-strong guys over a pigskin balloon masculine.

It can also be incredibly awesome,

But that's another story.

Granted purple is moreso unisex than pink, but still, why exactly is pink stereotyped like this?

Because it's somehow okay for girls to like boy stuff but not for boys to like girl stuff.

Remember, pink does more than you think. Drink Pepto-Bismal, the all-new refreshing energy drink.

The negative feminine (or "soft") stereotype of pink primarily exists in the western world. Ironically it's a rather noble colour and associated with power and honor in some other countries.
