I'm not familiar with his work, except for two excellent songs as covered by Gregorian: "Don't Give Up" and "Mercy Street." If the rest of his stuff is half as well conceived as those two, then in my book, he's a giant.

P.S. Actually, I am familiar with one other Peter Gabriel song, "Blood of Eden," featuring Sinéad O'Connor. Man, I love Gabriel's voice. And O'Connor's.
