Yes, this week is officially being called "THE Week" by me because it is the week that both the Playstation 3 and the Nintendo Wii are going to be released. I myself don't plan on bying a PS3 anytime soon, but my local Wal-Mart had a display up, and I must say it was -very- shiney. They didn't have a Wii demo, just the little banner above the section where the games will be. I do hope to be visiting a few Gamestops in town this week to see if they have any kiosks up. I've been reading more and more reports of demo kiosk experiences, so hopefully my store will have one.

 

I've been working quite a bit more frequently now, so that's good. I'm going in tonight for a meeting of somesort. Atleast we are getting fed. :)

 

And I have to do some sort of "informative" speech for school this week. Anyone have any good ideas?

 

Oh, and my brother is turning 17 this week, so he'll be able to buy us M rated games. :D

*Cough* Planning on getting both for Christmas. *cough* Word up, yo :D . I could camp out with you 2, buuuuuut that would seem a bit odd... And yeah, I agree with Wind, what kinda name is Wii anyway?

 

And I'm not sure if I'm even getting them, Shreveport is pretty darn big and it's prolly going to be like the 360's were. The companies only deliver 12 to Wal-Mart, etc. and the lines are out the door ;) .

You can forget about getting a PS3 for Christmas unless you have already pre-ordered one. The demand is way to high and the supply is going to be waay to low.

I got to check out a Wii demo at my local Gamestop: it was pretty fun, but I'm not even sure if anyone has a PS3 demo anywhere.

 

Word of advice: if you plan to check out a Wii demo (at Gamestop at least), be sure to have some form of ID for them to hold (security reasons).
