Yay, girl-related entry!

 

So I'm pretty darn sure the door has been opened for me with Blue Eyes. Any of you long-time oofo-natics will know, I thought that ship had set years ago... and I was fine with it, too. But not so, anymore... she was dating this guy for a while, and through careful observation of her Facebook wall, it seems that they've broken up (on good terms, too). And it's funny, a few months ago I was moping about how I didn't even have anyone to pursue because the Green Tee thing was a bust... and I remember saying that ideally, I could see myself with Blue Eyes, but it was an impossibility at the time because of her other romantic entanglement. But now... now, the door is opened.

 

So I've been pondering venues, conversations, and so forth... essentially, how to ask her out.

 

WE INTERRUPT THIS BLOG ENTRY TO BRING YOU TWO BACKGROUND FACTS THAT WILL SET THE STAGE FOR MY NEXT STATEMENT

  • She watched two of our dogs when we went on vacation. And our smelly old weiner dog Clyde died during that time. (teehee.png)
  • We go to a church that's about 35 minutes away in another county. Odd, huh? Well turns out even though she lives in the same county as us, she goes to a church in that other county as well--one with which I am quite familiar and have played church league ball therein.
WE NOW RETURN YOU TO YOUR REGULARLY SCHEDULED BLOG ENTRY ALREADY IN PROGRESS

 

So I see this email in my inbox this morning from my youth leader, who evidently is sending this email to an undisclosed group of people in an effort to plan a trip to see David Crowder in concert. Where is he playing? Blue Eyes' church.

 

So that right there might be a good in.

 

Also, if you're one of the two or three people who actually read through the whole entry and is reading this part right now, pat yourself on the back. And write your post in hot pink so I know who you are (and also just for lulz). :)

Doggy died? =(

Yeah... he was 16, though, so it was bound to happen. He mostly kept to himself, so we weren't as attached to him as we are to our other dogs.

My family drives 50 minutes and out of state, so... Doesn't seem that odd.
