The Children Of Húrin

This book is kind of depressing.

It's about a guy who was cursed by the devil so now pretty much every decision he makes turns out for the worst. Like, really. The worst possible outcome occurs.

:bored:

But I can't stop reading it.

It's the most depressing book Tolkien has ever written. Just wait till you get to the end.

ohnoes

Neinor (or is it Nienor?) and Morwen just went looking for Turin, but I remember what happens 'cause I read the Silmarillion... ;_;

I have Tolkien's works in PDF on my hard drive. Not the most eyeball-friendly format, so I haven't really gotten too far with any of it. I've read LOTR (including appendices), The Hobbit, The Tolkien Reader, and some of Christopher Tolkien's Middle-Earth series in hard copy, though. And I own copies of them all except the latter.
