Home For Thanksgiving
This October for fall break I considered not going home, since I had my kitchen and the dorms were staying open.
All other breaks, however, have the dorms closed. (Unfortunately?)
The campus owned apartments across the street, for juniors and seniors, stay open 10 or 12 months, even during breaks.
So...
Next year I don't really have to go home, ever.
Though I guess my family would like to see me.
If I didn't have a WAMALUG meeting during October break I might not have gone home.
Not saying I don't like my parents, but I enjoy not being around them.
Though my sister likes seeing me. (My brother too?)
I guess they'd want me home for Thanksgiving.
Next year.
This year I don't have a choice.
Yeah.
I just don't feel comfortable in my house anymore. School is more of a "home" because I live 7 to 8/12 of my year here. When I go home, I just don't feel like there's any place I can go to be alone. It helps now that we have wireless internet (we didn't over the summer), but with my brother pretty much taking over our room, and all other areas being out in the open, I just feel lost and trapped. (Hehe, trapped when I can't find someplace to isolate myself.)
Also, my Bionicle are at home. But I have to build in the family room.
