The Annoy-a-tron generates a short (but very annoying, hence the name) beep every few minutes. Your unsuspecting target will have a hard time 'timing' the location of the sound because the beeps will vary in intervals ranging from 2 to 8 minutes. The 2kHz sound is generically annoying enough, but if you really really want to aggravate somebody, select the 12 kHz sound.

 

Aside from a $15 price tag (after shipping and such), I really want to get this. My roommate (Mr. Anti-emote) is a light sleeper, and I'll be coming back home for a weekend for the Katuscon anime con in February.

Muahahaha.

(Though it would be interesting to see him trying to sleep!)

 

Oh well.

Oh my....interesting.

 

If you come in to your room one day and find all of your stuff gone because he moved it out on to the front lawn or something, I might just have to laugh.

If that thing were ever in my room, I would find it, and I would break it. I've already silenced some harmonic noises in my room... I know how to spot them. :angry:

 

And while light sleepers may be harassed in such ways, need I remind you what heavy sleepers can go through without waking up? :evilgrin:
