Winter Movies

Hopefully I'll get my job again at the theater.

Wait, did I just say hopefully?

Eh, I guess I don't have any other choice, seeing as The LEGO Store is a part-time only job.

Anyway, here is the list of movies I am looking forward to seeing for free once I star work there on December 13th:

-A Christmas Carol (Not a huge Jim Carrey fan, but I was told this was really good.)

-Avatar (ZOMG looks amazing.) (Edit: NOT "The Last Airbender" coming out next summer, but this.)

-Sherlock Holmes (Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law and that guy from Stardust, not to mention it looks awesome.)

-The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus (Just found out about this but the whole reincarnations of Tony in each dimension or whatever sounds cool, as does the rest of the movie.) (Apparently already released in the UK and Austrailia/NZ.)

-The Road (This was just brought to my attention by my dad who is interested in it, so, unless he plans on taking my mom, I guess I'll treat him.) (My friend said I should see it so I guess I will.)

And hopefully posters for those middle three, if I like them.

I saw the Avatar trailer this last summer when a few camp staffers and I left camp to see Transformers 2. I was like hooked on it and then I was like "Avatar!?" and my friend was all "Yeah!" And then we saw it was an M. Night Shyamalan film and we were all like "What the heck is he doing directing this?" but whatever.

I still wanna see it when it comes out. xD

No no, I think CF is talking about the war between humans and blue alien tribals in the future with hybrids. :)

Edit: Eck, beaten by the man.

I saw a poster for it a bit back, but haven't heard about it here since....All I know is that it has Heath Ledger in it.

..So it's a zombie flick?

I've never heard of it at all. Avatar might be cool, but I haven't seen much about it. Holmes looks awesome.

Also, I know it's irrelevant to the blog entry, but M. Night Shyamalan was chosen to direct The Last Airbender for numerous reasons. He has experience working with child actors, which the movie will require, and he has expressed a wish to keep the film series faithful to the TV series (he had become hooked on the series after his kid introduced him to it).

Instead of getting all hyped up about these new movies, you should rent some older ones and watch at home. :sly:

Yes, I will keep on you until you've watched Jurassic Park.
