I need your help choosing a picture to submit with my scholarship application. They put the winners up online so they require us to send in a picture with our application. I finished up my essay so I need to settle on a picture and finish filling out the application itself.

 

Here are the following pictures:

I have to touch up a few spots in the images, crop, resize etc.

 

I was thinking about submitting the photo in black and white or should I leave it in color?

I would say #3. Maybe only desaturate yourself, or the background in it. I find that looks particularly nifty, but it could just be personal preference.

I tried that but it doesn't work with such a dark backround, so I might as well just do it to the entire photo. :P

I'm thinking 3 as well....but I think any of them would be good if there wasn't the use of flash, because camera flashes tend to make things all wonky lighting-wise.
