Lots of people misquote movie lines. It's not "Are ya feelin' lucky, punk?" either, nor is it "Beam me up, Scotty!".

("Do you feel lucky? Well, do ya, punk?" and "Scotty, beam me up!" are the correct quotes. At least, I think... )

The first one's from Dirty Harry. Y'know, Clint Eastwood, .44 Magnum, all that stuff?

There was a segment of a radio show I listened to a while ago where they corrected, like, 15 popularly misquoted movie lines. It's a shame I can't remember more than those three.

Uh... I've heard that name, but know nothing else about that movie.

Actually, Darth just replies: "I am your father," when Luke accuses him of killing the aforementioned daddy. In the official novelization of Ep. 5, however, Darth says, "No, Luke, I am your father."

EPIC DOUBLE MISQUOTE

Um... according to a certain reliable Star Wars site which I'm not sure can be linked to, the conversation goes like this:

"Obi-Wan did not tell you about what happened to your father..."

"He told me enough: he told me you killed him!"

"No. I am your father."

(Which is also how I remember watching it... earlier today? )
