I just heard a news report saying that, because of the recent snow storms in the East, Congress has decided that global warming isn't an issue and won't push to make changes.

I'd rant, but that would include explicit remarks between scientific statements. Instead, I'll theorize about conspiracies.

You see, the Congress wants to stay in power forever. And they've noticed that "Climate Change" dumps a lot of snow on DC. Thus, they will refuse to do anything to stop it, and more snow will fall on them, eventually entombing them in an icy stasis, preserving them for future generations. I believe they hope to ride out the whole "global warming weather anomalies" phase and just reawaken when DC is thawed and has turned into a tropical paradise.

This is so true. Because I made it up, and then posted it on the Internet, and since its there, then it must be true!
