Why I Don't Watch Lost
I could give some of the usual excuses. I watched the second and third season of Lost, but then I *ahem* lost interest in the show. Maybe it was because I went to school and didn't have time to keep up. (Yeah right, I have Hulu) Maybe its because I got tired of watching episodes where there was no progression at all in the plot, but rather a lot of useless characterization (or really not much anyway... tons of characters still remained mysterious even after so many episodes) It was turning out to be a big time waster.
But I can pinpoint exactly where I lost interest: When they killed Charlie. He was my favorite character, and his death was one of the better ones in the series's third season (some of them were like, whoops, we're firing the actress, so lets just kill the character off too). But you can't go and kill off a Hobbit and get away with it.
So yeah, I've heard "its a great show, excelent stuff is happening, you should watch it" but I also heard this during the second season and it got me to watch for a while but then I got turned off. So all you Lostie fans, enjoy watching the finale (finally) but I gave up that show a long time ago.
And I really don't have anything better to write about.
