You mean like make the colors semi translucent? It'd work, but all the colors would be tinged pale blue...

Edit: OH OH WAIT do you mean like make a pixel wide blank space around each character? That would look... interesting... I wonder if I can figure a way to do that... I'm kind of a newb at photoshop...

Do your normal expansion of the character sprite but instead of filling it with color, select the layer(s) of the other sprite(s) under it and erase the selection from each.

I suppose I'm a bit late, but I requested a D/P trainer sprite, not a Pt one.
