My Star Trek Online Starships

Angel Beat

After plowing through a whole lot of missions, I now have three starships in my possession.

They are:

- USS BoA Kwon

The USS BoA Kwon is a Constitution-class starship, upgraded with Excalibur-class nacelles and pylons.

- USS Kiseki

The USS Kiseki is a Miranda-class starship, upgraded with Shi'Kahr-class rollbar and Centaur-class pylons.

- USS Mamoritai

The USS Mamoritai is a perfect hybrid of the Nova and Aurora-class starships. The saucer and nacelles are from the Aurora-class and the secondary hull and pylons are from the Nova-class.

The Kiseki just doesn't look like a Miranda class anymore with those pylons. It just looks... wrong.

Otherwise, that's a nice little fleet you have going for yourself.

I wanted to give the Kiseki something... different. :P The Shi'Kahr-style pylons looked even weirder, really.

Eheheh, thanks. :P

I prefer full ShiKar with Centaur pylons, Type 4 Material, and full Leo styles. I call my profile model "Stealth Cruiser" because it blends in well with space and can handle itself well enough. I also prefer to take the Tactical officer in the Tutorial for the Torpedo special. I've done the Tutorial five times now (nothing else TO do in the Trial version), and I just walk into the SS Azura mission with the double spec. Phaser Broadside their shields, then double torpedo. anything left can be lopped off by the Phaser array.

That's the Initiative alright! I knew I saw it somewhere!

That was my first ship, the Valangae. :P

Kind of a shame you have 4 ship slots on the Lieutenant Commander rank, which I am. I had to ditch the Light Cruiser type (Valangae, Kiseki) when I wanted to buy the Ushaan Escort. Ah well.

I now have:

Starkiller (TOS Constitution class)

BoA Kwon (TMP-TUC Movie Constitution class)

Mamoritai (Nova/Aurora hybrid)

Angae (Ushaan class)

Will have screenshots ready in a new entry.

Ushaan class? I'm not familiar with that class. Picture please?

It's a Tier 2 Escort and it has four weapons slots:

Front:

- Cannons

- Phaser beam array

- Torpedoes

Rear:

- Phaser beam array

:)

On the matter of ship classes, it looks like there's an Intrepid-class variant with a deflector on the saucer section. I wanna try putting in a ship with 2 deflectors, just to see it. Could you please?

Hmm, I can't, I'm afraid. My rank is Lt. Commander and the Intrepid variants are unlocked at the rank of Captain, which is basically two ranks higher than I am. (Commander rank is in between them.)

Ah. Oh, well. It's alright. I'll figure a way to it. Thanks, though!

Hehe, it wouldn't be a problem. :P

Actually...

I have taken a liking to the science vessels, because of their ability to target subsystems and rip through shields.

...The Intrepid (Voyager) is a science vessel, so with enough patience, I may be able to fly one in a week or two. :sly:

Ooh! I congratulate you, Captain. Now don't go getting lost in the Delta Quadrant on your first mission. :sly:

Delta Quadrant isn't available in the game. ;)

I know, but who's to say it will never be? That's where the Borg are from, after all. I call Borg Transwarp Hub in Borg Space. ;)

Eh, shouldn't be a problem as long as my ship is equipped well enough. :P

And I'll have some more shots up soon of my new ships.
