Holy moly! That's freaking unbelievable! I just hope that both spills can be contained and removed, and that the poor Gulf Coast environment can recover, without too much loss of life and habitat.

This is, hopefully, the straw that broke the camel's back. We need to work to get usable, sustainable, and cheap forms of energy for the masses as soon as possible. With any luck this will be the final nail in the coffin for fossil fuels.
