Han would win. Because I don't know who that other guy is, and Han isn't exactly an honest and trustworthy person prior to meeting Luke and Obi-wan. He would totes just shoot first and ask questions later. If ever.

Mal would win. Sure Han helped defeat the empire as a general in the Rebel Alliance and returned peace to the galaxy, but he was a smuggler first. Mal is practically a smuggler but he fought in the pivotal Battle of Serenity Valley. Han Solo might outrank Mal’s former sergeant title as a general. I think Mal’s war experience prior to all of experiences on the Serenity would benefit him in a fight against a smuggler turned general. It would probably be a close fight though and technically could go either way.

I leave you with this though: Did Malcolm Reynolds ever get frozen in carbonite and rescued by his significant other?
