Good thing it wasn't Switzerland or France, or else I'd be afraid that dividing by zero tampers with the stability of the Large Hadron Collider. :fear:

No it's under France and the Netherlands I thought.

 

Because under Switzerland, you have a whole load of mountain to dig under to build it.

Chols is actually right, the collider is in France and Switzerland. Also, digging a tunnel from France to Holland provides two problems:

1) You would have to go through Belgium first.

and

2) Anything remotely tunnel-y in our soil would cause half of the country to sink back into the North sea.
