My Valentine is with me 24/7. Valentines day this year is going to be spent with marching band, practicing and trying on new uniforms. Marching band=my 2nd true love!

February 14th is always a bummer for me. I never get anything other than the fun little paper valentines from the 2nd-3rd graders I teach. ;.;

For some reason, marching band in Feburary sounds strange to me. Perhaps the below 0 (F) temperatures and snow on the ground plays a factor in that.

And Valentine's Day is indeed over rated. I can't stand it myself. :X

Overrated and way too commercial, but I really dig all the pinks. Besides, seeing any flowers in these cold winter months, even if just at the corner store, is a pleasure in and of itself.

WAY overrated. And I don't really like girls anyway.

It is strange. But we're doing the St. Patrick's Day parade in D.C. this year, so we really need to get some practice in (last one we had was on November 11th or something like that).

Are you guys kidding me? Valentines Day is awesome! I'm actually gonna have one this year. I'm in 8th grade and this is big, even for me. But I really think most guys don't like it because of the fact that it mostly revolves around boys giving to girls, not vise versa.
