"I'm mad as heck, and I'm not going to take it anymore!"

Who among us has not wanted to post that in size seven, all caps?

(Seriously, who?)

Because we're looking for those people. We're looking for the people who think caps lock is annoying, counterproductive, and terrible for your keyboard; who feel that the loudest voices shouldn’t be the only ones that get heard; and who believe that the only time it's appropriate to stick the "traitor" label on someone is when that person is Metus. Or Ahkmou in certain media.

Blatant plagiarism aside, hey guys. We get it, you're mad that BIONICLE ended. And we get it, you're annoyed by people who are mad that BIONICLE ended. And we get it, you're annoyed at people who are annoyed at people who are mad that BIONICLE ended. But I think we can agree that BIONICLE was pretty cool (and that 2002 was the best year ever, of course).

After a while, the funny clubs start to lose their touch. The constant flow of topics expressing disgust at BIONICLE's end or at people lamenting BIONICLE's end gets tiring. People disagree on things, and let those disagreements define their interactions with others.

That isn't cool.

So now I am announcing the Entry To Restore Sanity.

This entry is about the people who can disagree without hating. The many who aren't noticed because they aren't loudly proclaiming the death of Hero Factory or BIONICLE or Clikits. The people who may be hesitant about joining a club because they are worried about the methodology or that their views aren't accurately portrayed.

The people who can understand that what happens happens, and you shouldn't turn molehills into insurmountable peaks.

And so we come together to share the timeless message:

Take it down a notch for BZPower.

I'll admit, I really didn't read any of what you wrote. But I happened upon this sentence.

and that 2002 was the best year ever, of course

So...anything else you might of said, I fully agree with.

I totally agree with this entry, BZP is getting ravaged over stuff like; "BRING BACK BIONICLE", "Let's storm Billund!" "Let's boycott.".

When we really just need to let it go.

PS: 2002 was the best year. :P

Let me in on this. Bionicle ended, and I realize that... kinda sucks. However, I don't go out and add to the giant pile of topics already hating on Lego or Hero Factory or hating on the people hating on the people etc. because that's lame and doesn't help the community.

Also, guys, you'll notice he's not specifically attacking a side in Bionicle vs. Hero Factory, something very few people will do; he's just outright saying "this fighting is stupid, no matter who you are."

I don't hate Hero Factory. In fact, I'm glad Lego had the guts to do something new after Bionicle was over instead of just abandoning the concept of figure lines all together.

However, the pain of having a franchise that's been with me for so long being replaced was what kind of turned me away from Hero Factory. The sets look really cool, and it is a worthy successor to Bionicle, but it's just not the same. Also, I don't have the money to buy Hero Factory stuff. However, I won't outright decry it or hate on it, since I don't harbor any real hatred for it and don't see any reason too.

The thing is, Hero Factory was a big change for Lego. They tried to have some stuff there for the long time Bionicle fans, but just like any major change, some fans can't deal with it and outright decry the choice. Why Lego didn't just reboot Bionicle with a new continuity I have no idea, but they really opened a can of worms. the thing is, I don't see Hero Factory as bringing in enough fans to really get it off the ground like Bionicle. It's in the footsteps of a much more successful franchise and I don't know if it can really get off the ground. It has a bit of fuel from Bionicle fans who can actually deal with the change and spend money on it, but do little kids really want to move away from their Bakugan to play with these? I'd love to see Lego's financial records about this kind of stuff, but sadly it's pretty difficult to track something like that. Bionicle ended from a combination of not making enough money, which was tied into not enough appeal to get newer fans into it. My question is, how much more appealing is this to kids than the shiny new Bionicle Bota Magna sets we would've gotten?

While a bit sad that Bionicle has ended, I am also glad that I can now focus on the awesome new Star Wars and Harry Potter sets. :P Count me in on this, Bfa.
