  1. They certainly wouldn't have had room in their canisters to take them with them to Voya Nui.
  2. So that's a yes, with those limitations. I did have in mind that informal nicknames could be used for some of these if you really need someone to take up more time; take "cameo" with some grains of salt there. In general it's best to just refer to them like, "the Ta-Matoran", etc.Would creating warlords (and vague descriptions of them) on Zakaz that Zaktan was sent on a mission to help be acceptable (even if they make more than one appearance?)
  3. I do feel that tying it into RL stuff like Les Miserables probably won't be accepted, for example, the quote at the start probably couldn't be included in the finished entry. Partially because it is a real life thing, and partially because it inserts a reference to Christianity into the entry (the latter might just be my instinctive dislike of things having unneccesary religious references).
  4. Would using the word "pickpocket" (verb, not noun) be alright?
  5. Wait, what? We're writing about more than one dead character?Oh, my mistake, of course things won't make sense if you just skim through them...
  6. I'm not really interested in Krana because I have no Bohrok, I already have Gali Nuva...I really was hoping to see a few more complete sets, except Kanohi (because of their greater amount of uses) I have little interest in collectibles. As for anything else, I'll think it over. BTW, I'm going on holiday on Wednesday so even if we do have a deal by then shipping will have to wait a few days.
  7. Lhikan's Hau? Tanma, Solek and Photok's masks? The Pakari Nuva (2002)? The Kaukau and Hau Nuva (2008)?
  8. I'm definitely interested in Kongu's Miru, Maku's Huna, and Matoro's Akaku, and maybe the White Kakama, too.
  9. First of all, I'd like to apologize for how long it's taken me to respond. Partially because of timezone differences (or at least I imagine so) and because I've been busy today. I would buy normally, but right now I have a lot of things to save up for (doing things on my birthday, going on holiday to Florence, days out with my friends etc.) sorry. I don't have PayPal, and as afforementioned, I have to save, sorry. Hmmm...which Kanohi do you have? As for how much the four books are worth, I'd say 3 Kanohi per book is more than fair.
  10. I am glad to reintroduce...Lein's Drift Tradepost! No cash transactions. If anything goes missing in transit, I'm not responsible for it, et cetera, et cetera. What I'm looking for (what I am particularly interested is in bold) McToran (preferably Kongu or Matoro)Vahki (preferably Bordakh or Keerakh)Visorak (preferably Oohnorak or Roporak)NidhikiDaluVelikaKanohi (from the mask packs 2001, noble or great, preferably not gold kanohi)What I'm offering in exchange Assassin's Creed II (for PS3, may not work outside the UK)Bionicle Chronicles 1 and 4Bionicle Legends 1, 5-7, 10 and 11All Harry Potter books (excluding Order of the Phoenix which has vanished)LotR Return of the King (book)The Hobbit (book)Tales of Beedle and the Bard
  11. Thanks, I wasn't planning on entering now, my entry isn't finished even if I did want to. I was just wondering if that was why there have been no entries so far.
  12. When's the entry window? Same as the whole contest? Just wondering if nobody had entered yet because they were deciding to spend longer on their entry, or because they couldn't enter it yet.
  13. Reviews for my epic The Last of the Matoran Universe go here.
  14. Review topic: http://www.bzpower.com/board/index.php?showtopic=6207The Last of the Matoran Universe, Part 1 - Meet SerebrusSerebrus put down his writings, and took a long, slow drag from his hookah. He exhaled, a faint plume of smoke slid up his mask and escaped into the air. The Ko-Matoran slid back comfortably into his chair in the study of his personal chambers in the Ko-Kriva Sanctum. The air was perfumed with the soft scent of dry flowers emitting from small burners scattered around the room, and the subtle music of his icicle chimes battled against the muffled rumour of a roaring wind outside, it's howling cushioned by the thin sheet of ice serving as a window.Serebrus was so comfortable he wanted to sleep, but knew he couldn't, he had a book that needed finishing, and this wasn't just any book, it was a book into which he was going to pour all of the knowledge he had uncovered as Head Scholar of the Ko-Kriva Sanctum, every single breakthrough; scientific, philosophical, medical or otherwise. An anthology of his works. It was so near completion now, yet so far.He was attempting to explain the results of his latest experiment, in a way that not only his fellow scholars, but all would understand and benefit. Serebrus was not like the other scholars, no. He did not believe in the existence of such an intellectual elite, for what was the point of knowledge if it was not readily available to be shared with others? And that was why he had written this book. He certainly hoped the other scholars would set aside their stereotypical reclusive and exclusive Ko-Matoran natures and follow suit. Leading by example. That is why he was the Head Scholar. Because he was different. It would be arrogant to say he was better, but he was at least different. He pressed his lava hawk feather quill against the lips of his Kanohi Matatu as he pondered how he could phrase it in an understandable way. Then he remembered the thesaurus - one of his greatest literary works, in the opinions of many. He stood up and made his way to his personal library, which consisted mainly of his works and those of his fellow scholars. He found the right bookshelf - he kept his library highly organized - and traced a finger along the slightly faded spines of books, until he found the correct book - "The Great Ko-Krivan Thesaurus, by High Scholar Serebrus of Ko-Kriva". He lifted it carefully off the shelf and perused it as he re-entered the study and sat down once more.He silently praised his work's standard, he found just the words he needed. For another hour or so, the feverish scratching of Serebrus' quill became a third party in the battle between the icicle chimes and the muffled wind. Finally satisfied, he skimmed through the book, proof-reading it - normally he would spend more time proof-reading but it was getting late in the afternoon and he would have to hurry if he wanted the publisher to see it today.Satisfied with his grammar, Serebrus closed the book and replaced his thesaurus in the library, before picking up his anthology and putting on his cloak of office - the white cloak of the High Scholar. He strode quickly but quietly through the great silent halls of the Sanctum, heading out into the village. The publisher's house was not too far away from the Sanctum, and the publisher, curiously, was not a local. The publisher was a Le-Matoran, Katumo, who only lived part-time in Ko-Kriva. The reason for this was that the Le-Matoran were the only Matoran on the island with knowledge of machinery capable of mass publication of writings, and were also the only Matoran on the island with knowledge of how to make paper from wood. Currently, Katumo was staying in Ko-Kriva by demand, and surely would not stay for long, and there was no question of Serebrus being able to travel to Le-Kriva to see Katumo there, travel was far too dangerous then. Which is why Serebrus was in a hurry for his work to be published. He entered Katumo's lodgings, which weren't so different from his own, Katumo stood behind a desk, and upon seeing Serebrus enter he smiled."Ah, welcome, High Scholar, what can I publish for you today?" Serebrus handed him his book."This is something I've been working on for a long time, you see, a compilation of my previous work, it's taken a few years, but I've finally finished it today.""I might've guessed!" Katumo chuckled "nice thick book you've given me, not sure how many copies I can make but I'll try to make as many as I can, your research needs to be spread, some of it could certainly make a tangible difference in driving back the Cutl!" Serebrus nodded, but said nothing. The Cutl were a group of myserious beings who had been attacking Kavaka Nui at the behest of the group of Makuta who had recently settled on the mysterious neigbouring island of Kra-Kavaka. So far, three of the Cutl had shown themselves, Lavurnius, Pavarakh and Katala. The former two had destroyed Ga-Kriva entirely, and the Ga-Matoran had created a series of small settlements along the coast to replace it. Lavurnius and Katala had also raided Onu-Kriva, though failing to destroy the whole city, they had significantly decimated it, having caused the cave roof to collapse and bury most of the city.Serebrus certainly hoped they left Ko-Kriva alone - Ko-Kriva's militia was seriously sub-standard compared with the guard in Ga-Kriva, Ta-Kriva and Onu-Kriva, and he hated to think of how much valuable research could be lost. Already the Cutl had launched a few small raids to the outer village, but no big attacks like in Ga-Kriva and Onu-Kriva, but even those attacks had significantly disrupted the city. After bidding eachother fairwell, Serebrus left, his mood marred by the reminder of the constant threat of attack. Not that it was Katumo's fault. Serebrus emotionally picked himself up with the thought that Katumo could be right, his research could make the difference between loss and victory, with a new spring in his step, he headed home to his chambers of the Sanctum. If Serebrus had expected to whittle away his evening smoking his hookah, losing himself in one of Aahar's gripping fictitious novels, or perhaps inviting over an old friend to share some intelligent conversation and a nice cup of hot protodermis, he should have guessed again. Outside his chambers, leaning on his staff, Turaga Zetian patiently waited. When Serebrus arrived, Zetian regarded him benignly."Greetings, Serebrus" he said "the publisher liked your latest work I take it?" Serebrus nodded."But I suspect you are here for more than idle conversation, Turaga?" he asked. Zetian smiled."You are perceptive indeed, High Scholar" Zetian said appraisingly "yes, it is an important matter that concerns you, come with me and meet the others in the Astrolaboratory, all shall become clear.""Others?" asked Serebrus, as he followed the Turaga, uncertainly.
  15. See above, even if it was a joke. Rahi in mind, I'd say Krahka, she's very intelligent for a Rahi, more intelligent than Keetongu, unlike Keetongu she is fluent in the Matoran language and knows how to use her powers to trick others. At the same time, she keeps to herself a lot, or at least she did before being dragged into combat by Vakama and co. She seems to have a very grey morality, too.
  16. 1 - I think that's the point of the contest, depending on how you mean that (if you mean a few specific events in her past, then yes).2 - No it doesn't have to be.
  17. But practically everybody in 2001 had been mind-wiped. And the only non-mindwiped ones that remain are the Turaga, who are pretty out of character for a GB, except Nuju, although a GB probably wouldn't want to be destined to be a Toa.The one thing I am sure we can be almost certain of is that the GB will be a character who is integral to the plot, probably an older character.thing is you have to remember that the great being is a character who did not directly effect the MU or cause disruption in the MUIK that, but at the same time, of course it would have to be a character who's been around for a long time, or is central to the plot, for shock value. Not neccesarily if you think about it almost no one from the 2001-2003 saga could be the Great Being for a few simple reasons 2001all Matoran were mind wipedthe Toa Mata had no memory and had to much of a important role for one of them being the great beingThe Turaga are very unlikely since they interfered to much in the matoran universe and even played a large role in stopping TeridaxOnly other character in 2001 were the rahi and the Great being taking inhabiting a Rahi body is very unlikely especially since as a rahi they would have to fight every day to survive against other rahi2002 basically same characters from 2001 except for addition of Bahrag, Bohrok, Bohrok-Va and Krana. If one of the Bahrag were the Great being it would have the common sense to know when it was meant to release the Bohrok and plus the Great being would not allow it self to be encased in protodermis. The Bohrok have a slight like minuscule chance of being the great being since the Bohrok are completely mechanical it would be easy enough for the Great being to put it's soul into the Bohrok2003 same deal with the Matoran, Toa Mata/Nuva and the Turaga from the previous 2 yearsThe Bohrok-Kal have a similar situation as the other Bohrok but the Kal are more unlikely since they had a certain trait that made them focused only on unleashing the Bahrag/Bohrok again. And plus i don't think a Great Being would allow it's self to be put into a hibernation mode especially since they were a back up and if things had gone differently they may have never been needed and thus never awaken causing the great being to be stuck in the hibernation mode for ever. The only other characters revealed in 2003 were the Rahkshi and i think everyone can agree that the Rahkshi are last case scenario since they are created to be used for evil.2004 is when we are given more options since that year introduces other character. for example we learned of the Dark hunters existence which opened a plethora of new characters that could possibly be the Great being. Every Year from 2004 on has revealed more and more character even ones that are not made into sets whereas the first 3 years we are stuck on an island that does not allow characters from other locations to arrive on the island of mata-nui which and that keeps us from having to learn/meet new characters.in short that is why i feel that the first 3 years of bionicle holds no candidates for the Great Being. I never said the first 3 years, I meant pre-2007, sorry for my vagueness.

  20. Memory wiped, remember?~B~Sorry, I just didn't remember everyone on the restrictions list. As for going in circles, not everybody reads all 15 pages before suggesting something.
  21. He was a plot device. Also, the GB knew how the MU ran. He would have known it was dying, and he wouldn't have tried to stop people with honest intent from saving Mata Nui.Fair point...then I'm not sure, Dume perhaps, or maybe a Ko-Matoran like Kopeke.
  22. One question - I'm writing about Zaktan and starting with when the Shadowed One found him in the protodermis mine. Would it be alright to attribute a trait to the Shadowed One (i.e. he is able to "read" others, not so much telepathy, just he has a knack for seeing their deeper emotions etc. in their appearance and expression, that kind of thing, not so much a power as a talent)? Because obviously, it's a bit difficult to think of a reason why The Shadowed One would be compelled to hire a worker in a protodermis mine.Edit - Ok, NVM, I've thought of an alternative.
  23. I'm inclined to say Umbra, his abscence from the story since 2006 is a little too suspicious for my liking. His cold attitude and his black -and-white idea of destiny seems to fit the bill too.
  24. Thank you, you have been most...useful in my quest
