  1. OOC: Sorry, been afk for a couple days... let me know where to take Vacir...IC: Vacir thanked the merchant as he bought the last of the supplies he thought he would need for the next few days. He wasn't sure where to go from there, but he was convinced that he had a role to play, and was determined to accomplish it.
  2. OOC: A mask of intangibility (mask of unhittableness) is in the tier of the Sanok (mask of autohitting), Kualsi (mask of cheapness), Suletu (mask of metagaming) and the like, where they're fine and dandy if used responsibly, but extremely prone to cheapness. Better play it safe and change it imo...IC: Vacir was about to reply when a sudden commotion drew his attention. He rushed with Tehlin back in the direction of the docks, arriving to find utter chaos. It was clear to Vacir that he was now standing in the littered aftermath of a battle. He began to ask around concerning what had transpired there. Upon piecing together the bits of information that he had learned, he quickly understood that Turaga Nokama, whom he had sought, was gone, and with her anything he hoped to gain from her vast knowledge. His resolve forged anew, Vacir strode purposefully to Tehlin, and addressed him tautly."It appears we do not have the luxury of casual discussion. I need answers. Now. I am going to the marketplace to purchase commodities, and then departing for other parts. The time for talk is clearly ended; accompany me in deed if you so choose."OOC: Vacir's headed your way, Gravity/Hajin...
  3. I'm working on a new torso design, but I may use it on my next MOC I have in mind Vacir's was loosely based on Kiina's, so it will require a near-total reworking in order to bulk it up without looking out of place...Challenge Accepted.
  4. OOC: I'm getting a little bored. Someone interact with Tehlin and Vacir... they're aimlessly wandering Ga-Koro atm, aching to do something...IC: Vacir"So you merely went along with the Toa of Plasma and Lightning? In that case, what prompted the Toa of Plantlife with the Ash Bear and the Rahi-like Toa of Crystal to join your party? I had been under the impression that the group was a Toa team of five or the like."
  5. IC: Vacir"Then what brought you here to Ga-Wahi?"
  6. IC: Vacir"I have just washed up on the shores of this island very recently, with most of my memory gone. Over the course of the day I have spent on the island, most of my memories of myself have returned, but I still have no knowledge of the location or fate of the place I have come from, nor do I, as you have noticed, recall my mask power, among other smaller tidbits of information that continue to escape me. Nevertheless, I am content to bide my time until a threat presents itself, and I have no doubt that I will be able to call upon power as opportunity presents itself."And yourself?"
  7. Agreed. A small dodgeball... acutally, think like a size 3 soccer ball, like the ones 5 and 6 year olds use...
  8. My biggest beef with my last version were the two Toa Hordika Upper Leg Armor pieces on the lower leg; the only silver pieces besides the staff. I only had one pair of black ones, so I tried to substitute black Inika upper leg armor or the like in it's place, and ended up with the version I have now. To be honest, I like the proportions the legs have overall. Maybe it's because I played with a lot of Transformers and Rescue Heroes too when I was little :PMy next MOC will be much leaner... y'know, probably...
  9. IC: Vacir began to reply, but suddenly did a double-take in the direction of the red Vortixx. There it was! The ship from earlier was leaving the dock abreast of the Vortixx's vessel.Gesturing towards it, Vacir told Tehlin "I suppose the ship is friendly after all, considering it is allied with the Vortixx that shares our motives. I would suggest returning to find the others, provided you have no objections."
  10. IC: Vacir agreed to keep an eye out for the "unemployed," and turned back to Tehlin as the Vortixx walked away.
  11. Thanks to all,The torso is small on purpose; I'm better with limbs than bodies, and I like the way the proportions look. And I think you mean Kiril/Kualsi, not Hau... The original version actually had a grey Hau (From the Ussanui), but then I figured that every 5th or 6th MOC on this site has a Hau, so I changed it to Dekar's mask, which is shaped like Dume's, which is shaped like Norik's...The Inika shoulder armor was a last-minute addition... one of those things where you try to replace one piece and end up reconstructing the entire lower leg I here's a picture of what he looked like this morning, before I changed him:You'll also notice the abundance of red and blue pins... yikes!
  12. IC: Vacir (Docks)"You said yourself that we have nothing of importance with which to engage ourselves," Vacir reminded Tehlin. "At the very least, we can ascertain their motives and possibly gain information regarding the ship from the beach."Moving towards the red Vortixx, Vacir replied "I must say I am quite curious. To what sort of mission are you referring?"OOC: Just read Tooroko's bio... laughing dead ftw!
  13. OOC: Finished Vacir MOC... Link in sig, and pic on his profile... Yay!IC: Vacir wandered aimlessly about Ga-Koro, stopping occasionally to ask a question or point out an observation to Tehlin. He was still curious about the ship he had seen earlier; though he had no desire to board it, he was fairly sure that the ship was up to no good. After some time, the two Toa happened to pass by the harbor, with a large dock full of boats of all sizes. He turned and addressed Tehlin quietly, careful to avoid catching the attention of the more rough-looking beings on the dock."I want to ask a few questions around here about the vessel we encountered earlier. Feel free to accompany me, or go your separate way. Should you be unable to find me, we can rendezvous at the bar."
  14. I've had this MOC sitting around in various forms for a couple of weeks now. Upon rejoining the BZPRPG, I decided Vacir (my Toa of Plasma) fit the MOC well. Sorry for the low quality; my laptop's webcam, while better than the alternative (my cell phone... ugh!), isn't exactly HD...Combat-Ready Pose Stoic Pose I'm too lazy to do it myself, but Vacir's profile is linked to in my sig. Of course, I don't need critique on his character, just his looks :)Constructive Criticism or Destructive Compliments are welcome... wait... Anyway, enjoy! And thanks in advance for the feedback.
  15. IC: Vacir thought for a minute, then replied "You've been helpful, but I've concluded that my Kanohi's power will reveal itself to me in time."OOC: Read - in his first battle
  16. IC: Vacir followed the Toa of Plantlife out of the bar, intent on finding the others.OOC: Up to you whether or not you want to find them
  17. OOC: Let me know if I can have him tag along without your permission in cases like this IC: Upon returning to the bar, Vacir was met by unexpected misfortune: the others had vanished! Remembering his earlier mistake, he checked each table once again for familiar faces. Finding none, he sat at a booth, contemplating his next actions.
  18. Glad to hear this discussion now... my second char has an Iden (as soon as I bring him in, of course), so it ought to get interesting...
  19. OOC: sorry, been afk most of the day IC: Vacir stood silent as the ship slowly drifted away into the distance. He turned towards Tehlin."I must say, having just come from the sea, I have no desire to return to it so soon" he said with a bit of a grin. "Shall we return to the bar and the others?"
  20. IC: Vacir"I think I saw something!" Vacir yelled over his shoulder, barreling ahead. As he had gazed down the shoreline of Ga-Wahi, he thought he had seen a large vessel of some sort. He had immediately taken off towards it at a full sprint, which, unfortunately, was not particularly quick. One thing was for sure; his Kanohi was certainly not a Kakama. As he drew closer, he saw that the ship (for a ship it was) was resting just off the shore. However, he could not see any beings on board. He paused for a moment to catch his breath as Tehlin caught up, pondering whether or not to attempt to catch the attention of the ship.
  21. IC: Heeding Tehlin's advice, Vacir attempted to shapeshift, calling upon the Kanohi he wore, to no avail. He ran through his mind a list of common Kanohi, mentally attempting each one as he thought of it. None seemed to activate his mask. Attempting to check for the powers of an Akaku, he gazed down the beach, intending to look through the rocks that littered its surface. Unable to do so, he looked back, but suddenly did a double-take. Suddenly, Vacir began running down the beach in the direction he had been looking.OOC: Is that a ship he sees? 0_o hm...
  22. IC: Vacir"By all means, feel free." Vacir said to the Toa of Plantlife. "I was just concluding my training with my elemental control to focus on my Kanohi. Unfortunately, I remain unable to recall it's ability. I am aware that masks of identical power often share a similar design. Does the shape of my mask seem at all familiar to you?"OOC: It won't help. His Matatu is shaped like a Yellow Kiril... I still need to post that MOC of him, as soon as I get rid of those red axles and blue pins
  23. I would think several disc launchers (5 to 10 on each broadside) if it's a large ship. Alternatively, large slingshots or something if you don't want discs.
  24. IC: Vacir stood on the beach, training with his elemental control over plasma. Hopefully, he reasoned, recalling his training practices and techniques would spur his memory as to the ability of his Kanohi. He began with conjuring simple spheres of plasma, manipulating them in various patterns and quantities. Having spent centuries honing his power, Vacir knew that his level of control exceeded that of an ordinary Toa, and to maintain such discipline would require frequent practice, whether alone, in groups, or through battle. He launched bolts of plasma, large and small. He forced powerful waves in circular patterns around him. He used his staff to hurl glowing orbs through the night towards the ocean. He ran through a short set of staff combat maneuvers, and replaced the staff on his back as he turned to face a group of rocks nearby. Focusing, Vacir formed a sphere of molten plasma around the rocks, and in an instant, caused it to implode, utterly obliterating the rocks as it shrunk out of existence. Satisfied with his control, he turned his thoughts to the Kanohi he wore, and what power it may contain.OOC: If you want to sent Tehlin my way, I'm sure I could find something to do... that shady deal on the beach would be interesting to interact with, don't you think?
  25. OOC: I'm up for a little side-quest, if there's anything interesting going on nearby. Actually, isn't something going down at the beach atm?IC: Vacir announced to the others that he was going for a walk, leaving out that his main objective was to discover his mask power. He headed toward the beach to reflect and focus. It felt like ages since he had trained with his power, and upon reflection, it occurred to him that it very well could have been ages; who knows how long he had been lost at sea, carried unconscious by the currents of the unending ocean?
