Hello, fellow Brawlers! I've been communicating for some time with Angel Bob and I think now I'm a sort of character design assistant guy or something. I have created a complete moveset for Vakama, and am posting it here as Angel Bob instructed me to. Here it is....
Neutral A - Punch (2%), punch (2%), uppercut (4%). Hold for rapid punching (1% each).
Dash Attack - Vakama dives forward, goes into a damaging roll, and pops back up again, ala Snake. 5% damage.
Down Tilt - While crouching on one knee, he does a sweeping punch forward. 4% damage.
Up Tilt - A punch upwards. 4% damage.
Forward Tilt - Roundhouse kick (4% damage). If pressed twice rapidly, he will do a roundhouse kick followed by a lightning-fast uppercut (7% damage).
Up Smash - A punch that arcs upward and then down to the ground, ala Ike's sword Ragnell. 10% damage.
Down Smash - Punches downward, releasing a large burst of fire. 9% damage.
Forward Smash - Holds both fists back, charges for a moment, then punches forward with both of them. On contact with another player, a burst of flame comes from his fists and burns the attacked player, similarly to Captain Falcon's Forward Smash. 14% damage.
Ledge attack - Flips forward onto the platform and thrusts forward with a powerful punch. 7% damage.
Floor attack - Spins, sweeping the legs out from under the other players. 3% damage.
Neutral Aerial - A simple spin-kick. 4% damage.
Down Aerial - Brings his knees up to his chest and kicks downward with a burst of flame. 11% damage.
Back Aerial - Turns body parallel to the ground and spins, Sonic the Hedgehog style. 7% damage.
Forward Aerial - Kicks out and up, similarly to Snake's "cancan kick." 6% damage.
Up Aerial - Punches upward with burst of flame. 8% damage.
Grab - Lunges forward, holds the grabbed player by the chest-plate with one hand, slightly above his head.
Pummel - Punches repeatedly. 2% damage.
Back Throw - Throws the grabbed character sideways and into the ground, like Lucario does. 6% damage.
Up Throw - Tosses the grabbed character up, leaving the grabbed character trailing flame for a few seconds. 8% damage.
Down Throw - Slams the grabbed character into the ground. 10% damage.
Forward Throw - Holds the grabbed character above his head and throws he/she. 8% damage.
Standard Special Move - Kanohi Huna - Vakama turns to face the screem and turns semi-transparent for three seconds. If he is hit during this time, he disappears, reappears behind the attacking charcater, and attacks with a devastating fireball. 17% damage.
Side Special Move - Disk Launcher - Fires Vakama's Kanoka Disk. Creates a small explosion where it hits, about the size of the explosion from Samus' homing missiles. 7% damage.
Up Special Move - Jetpack - Vakama uses the Disk Launcher to fly. Very similar to Pit's Up Special, except the trail of energy from the jetpack gets thinner as Vakama flies. Once the energy trail is gone, Vakama falls to the ground in the same way that Sonic and Snake do after their Up Specials.
Down Special Move - Lava Trap - Digs a small hole in the ground, charges it with red energy, and rolls to one side. Vakama has just laid a lava trap, which can be identified by the fact that it is smoking slightly. If someone lands on it, a burst of lava explodes out of the ground. Think Snake's mines. 19% damage.
Moves about the same way and with the same speed as Samus. His dodge is the same as Ike's.
