The Breakout mini-movie is coming out on April 1st on the HF website for the US. Something tells me it will be aired some time before that.
-
Just saw episode 8 and I see this:
Are Lizaru's fangs supposed to be asymmetrical? In the set they seem to be...And they seem to have regular green on them, whilst in the sets they have dark green on them.
-
Apparently on April 16 to May 20 you can build an HF figure in LEGO brand stores. No word on price nor piece availability yet. This is very good news as I completely missed out on last year's HRT event. I missed out on getting white/orange hero cores on bulk at such an early time!
-
Anyone got the club mag yet? Apparently there is a game guide for Breakout in it... (it's HF-themed too!)
-
Speaking of spinners, this year's batch seems to sell very well. Kendo Zane and Lasha have been de-listed from S@H already (basically sold out for good!) and Samurai X is listed as "call to check availability". Even though the booster packs are still there, they are very hard to find in stores as well...

Stormer gets a white Furno bike? Too bad the actual figure most likely won't fit on the actual bike but it would've been nice if it had.

Zane was featured in episodes 2, half of 4 and 7. Yet throughout this season he seems to be somewhat depicted more significantly than the other ninja. After all, he saves his fellow ninja from Pythor at one point (episode 5) and he tells them about the green ninja (episode 4).
No, this year isn't focusing on Zane. Only the last episode "Tick Tock" focused on Zane. This year, all of the ninja are focusing on unlocking their full potential. Next episode is about Cole; after that, Jay; etc. Also, last year focused on how Kai and the others mature into disciplined ninja. It wasn't all about Kai.You know, 2011 focused on Kai and his desire to be strong enough to save Nya. 2012 is focusing on Zane and how he is different and feels like he doesn't belong. The next two years might put the spotlight on Jay, and possibly his relationships with others, and Cole, and how his inner struggles and desire to improve affect him on the outside. On another note, how was Zane not afraid of wearing a flowery pink apron, but was embarassed by the Pink Ninja Laundry Incident?

It makes me wonder though that since episode 9 focuses on Cole, his father and the talent show, then why is the episode called The Royal Blacksmiths?
-
From what I heard the release is split into 3 separate disks with 4 episodes each (5 for the last one). So far the first disk is released in Poland; no word yet for the other two.
Wait, have there actually been DVD releases of the TV series in some countries?~Gata.I'm a little fed up with the total lack of high-quality recordings of these episodes. Coming from the My Little Pony fandom, where HD recordings of the most recent episode usually hit the web the day they air, I can't see why most of the recordings of Ninjago are such horrible quality. I understand that the MLP fandom is much larger, and that the legality of uploading these recordings is a stretch. But since I haven't seen any of the low quality vids taken down from their hosting sites due to copyright claims, I wonder why no one's put up the effort to make higher-quality ones available. As it is, the DVD releases that have already appeared in some other countries can't hit the U.S. soon enough.

Methinks that the giant statue in the Lost City of Ouroboros is the Great Devourer. It's just too practical for it to be the "symbol" as shown across the map. The statue is already huge as it is...
And in episode 9 I like how the snakes in the talent show wear indiscreet disguises and yet nobody notices Kruncha and Nuckal make cameo appearances too!

As I said before, I saw episode 8, not 11. The title screen clearly says episode 8 and the events in that episode do not match what episode 11 says. And Garmadon appears at the end of episode 7...You must have saw episode 11 "All of Nothing", because that's when he plays an important role that fits your description. Lord Garmadon doesn't appear again until episode 10 "The Green Ninja".
-
Yes, the title screen in the video says episode 8. I found it on the infamous video sharing website (although it isn't complete and it's in Korean).Just saw episode 8...
Apparently Garmadon becomes good again! He also has the ability to create golems.
Are you sure that is episode 8? The description I posted barely leaves any room for Garmadon to return.
~Gata.
Also the description for episode you posted earlier is somewhat inaccurate; Jay gets injured by the fang before he goes out.
Funny though that episode 6 and 8 are up already, yet 7 isn't

There's actually US bag arts for both Breez and Thornraxx , so most likely they'll just keep those for their eventual release.
Unlikely on that count; with the canisters, all they technically had to change was a label. Here, it would pretty much be the entire plastic bag container. Not necessarily. The American packaging differs from the European packaging to begin with since American packaging has piece counts in the front and of course the warnings on the back are in different languages. I don't believe we've seen Breez yet in the American packaging, so it could still be gold.
-
I wish they made the giant snake so it's not just permanently fixed in one pose.
-
Is there anywhere where I can watch episode 6 online?
-
Just found this on a certain video sharing website. What's with the summer sets getting all the love recently?
-
Thanks for the pics. Though all they do is justify the fact that Core Hunter and Bulk are the best sets of the wave, followed by Stormer XL. Also looks like XT4 has a new micro-torso piece.
-
Pics of the summer wave can be found here.I find it funny that the box arts for the Samurai Mech and the Ultra Sonic Raider are finalized already, yet the other two (bite cycle and the 4-headed dragon) and all the spinner sets (eve the ones already released) aren't

Clear NY Toy Fair pics can be found here.Prices are nasty for the two biggest sets however.6230 Stormer XL 124 pieces/$24.99 <_<6231 Speeda Demon 124 pieces $34.99 http://www.bzpower.com/board/public/style_emoticons/default/mad.gifCore Hunter is amazing!

So apparently Pythor's head mold has his jaw opened at a permanent 80-85% angle. Which I am not a fan of.Samurai Mech look good at this angle though. Too bad it's $40...

Just saw the video....finally, close ups on previously unseen figures!- Purple bike with lime green figure: This thing is insane, even though it's not as good as Furno's bike. It includes a purple Skrall armor piece! Not sure on how it reuses BP's helmet in lime green though. And those new electricity pieces look interesting.- Stormer: He looks OK in XL form I guess. His upper torso is solidly built but the legs need serious improvement, and the feet suspiciously look juniorized.Stringer's torso armor is actually trans-blue ( ), the black villain looks even more awesome than ever and the combiner looks awfully jumbled. And looks like the summer sets will have gold borders on their (already finalized?!) bag arts.
-
That 4-headed dragon is just epic. And we finally get gold lightsaber hilts!! :wub:I don't like the lower jaw of the huge snake though. Looks far too blocky compared to the rest of the snake.Samurai mech looks neat. The white tank thing looks OK though I like the sai-on-a-belt detail. What are those solid-colored ninjas about? And why is Zane light-blue?
-
Is Nex's left arm supposed to be some kind of "laser arm" of some sorts?Bulk looks fantastic. I like how he has a shoulder-mounted rocket launcher. Mystery black villain looks neat as well. The yellow figure looks awfully spindly but has potential. Nex looks bad with the white armor chest piece....
