Speaking of which, I found a video of the HF display in the London Toy fair here, which shows some new sets not seen here before...(is this technically leaked though?)

I noticed the upcoming Captain America figure has a new armor piece on his knees. Could this piece make its way to the summer HF wave?Personally I think it looks better than the current rounded shoulder pad piece as it doesn't leave a huge amount of empty space on the underside.

I heard Cole actually killed (or appeared to kill) a snake in one episode. Is this true?

This looks like a cool set, but I don't like how the FL build is (re)used here. It seems so unoriginal in doing so. I hope later titan-sized sets would go away from this type of build...

I've got $15, and half an hour before going to the store. Who should I get?

I'd go for Splitface.

You know, since Furno lost his original magma shooters to Jawblade, wouldn't it be possible that he lost his bike to some other villain as well? For one, we haven't seen the bike ever since its debut...

I built this a while back, but I never got around to posting pics of it here. Until now!Slizer here uses parts from 2232 Raw-Jaw and 2233 Fangz. With the limited parts pool I had to work with, the legs seem rather underwhelming compared to the rest of the model. I'm rather satisfied how the body turned out though...Slizer is armed with two flare blades, which can be raised up to over 9000 deg for some slicing action. When heated, these blades can be powerful enough to slice through anything (or anyone) and leave 2nd-degree burns behind. He is heavily armored and extremely dangerous. More pics in my Bshelf (once moderated).

The website has finally been updated, lots of interesting things to see! There's lots of new snake characters (which will most likely be in summer sets, hint hint), although there seems to be a serious lack of poster art...

2 new videos are on the HF website now, each depicting Rocka and BP (individually). The Rocka vid shows the purple villain again, this time showing the back (2 chest armor pieces in purple!!! ).

Barnes and Noble.com has new listings of some of the summer sets (all preorder). Is this considered leaked?

So I have Rocka right in front of me right now.....he is a great set but his shield makes his right arm look really short. And I don't really know why people say his helmet is the 1.0 version--he was built with the new system, so his "1.0" version should be the one last year.

So basically BP is the mastermind behind the whole breakout story...if he is shown as the primary villain and the breakout story extends to the summer, then what is the point of releasing him in the winter rather than the summer?And what are the game points for? I haven't played the game yet and won't be able to do so for quite a while...

Has anyone played the breakout game yet? If so, what was it like?

Looking at this pic of Thornaxx, I can't help but think that there could have been an alternative to the 5-pin hole beam to connect the body together. And I believe that these limb pieces in white are new recolor(s).Oh and here are some more US box bag arts.

So I just built the kendo Jay booster pack....and noticed that the torso and the kendo chest armor is the standard chinese quality. The helmet is normal quality though.

Breez and Thornraxx are not in the local LEGO store.....I think that a spring release for those two would be extremely likely.

Splitface was once two villains who always argued and were very weak. They were easily captured. Black Phantom saw their potential and combined them into one, stronger robot.Toxic Reapa was a bot working in a chemical plant, but was arrested for stealing a cache of dangerous chemicals. However, they were never found. With the help of Black Phantom, Reapa was able to recover them and use them as weapons.

I know this is just speculation, but I don't quite see why Splitface and Toxic Reapa would be affiliated with Black Phantom in any way; after all there's no indication in the main story line that BP would be related to the other breakout villains. If this were the case, then the promo videos would have shown it by now.

On Xmas day I got Evo, Splitface and Surge. The day after that I bought Rocka from the LEGO store.

Methinks Breez and Thornraxx may be in the spring wave....the Jan-Feb 2012 club mag has an ad featuring the new sets in "missions". Only 4 were pictured; mission 5: Breez and Thornraxx was not.

The official name for 9455 is Fangpyre Mech. The description is extremely misleading, there is no snake staff in the set! Though it does say it includes a banana...The club mag mentions a character named "Mezmo". Summer appearance perhaps? He is in no sets so far (he is erroneously labeled as available in 9444)

Got the new club mag today, there is a 2-pg HF comic featuring Rocka vs. BP. It kinda ends on a cliffhanger, which is why a code was provided that shows the end of the comic.

Just built Splitface (well not just, but I did build him today), methinks he is one of the best villain sets of this wave. The way those face halves are put on are just pure genius (they attach to the sides of the head). The blade arm is also well-built as well.What I don't like is that how those curved shoulder/knee plates leave a huge empty space...Oh, and he has a long neck.
