  1. Thanks! Click on the picture to see a gallery. Well, now I feel dumb. The MOC's body is very nice, but the tail looks a little odd, and when it's stooping down, it looks a little like a blue gorrila. You found the gallery! Thanks, and I agree about the tail. Too late now, so it'll just stay as-is. What does a blue gorilla look like?
  2. It's quite fun when you work in a team with building! I've done it for one of my recent MOCs. (Not the bird)

  3. I came up with a whole scenario about it having some power, but I've forgotten it. I wouldn't be surprised if it was something like Senrab said Maybe it ate a Miru? I like the MoC, and like people have already said, it's very impressive that you managed to use the Gadunka headpiece for something. The gear eyes seem a little weird to me, but overall the MoC is pretty nice. Good luck in the contest! Probably Thanks! Guess everyone seems to think that's impressive The gear eyes are a little weird. Thanks, good luck to you too!
  4. Glad you think so! Yeah, this was the first time I've used the Gadunka head piece, and I'm happy with the result.
  5. Entry name: Oiseaux D'eau Entry pic: This one. Topic: Here.
  6. Here's my entry! That's my latest MOC trying to grasp what this bird is. (Click the picture to view the set of photos!) The title literally means waterbird, too. If you didn't know.
  7. No, it asks you if you want to though. Just say no and it won't. After you can always remove the app too. (since it does some coupon app)
  8. I'm Virtual Dreadwolf and I'm level 10. EDIT as of 6/9/2013: Level 14
  9. Fixed him up now; took the feedback, wondering if it's better now. Thoughts? (I changed the links on the topic, so go check it out!)
  10. That's because it was a rush build. I didn't work that hard on the rest. Most effort went into what you mentioned.
  11. Katalogos (Bugs are sometimes heavily armored; Kata is not.) This took around an hour, but my favorite part is the head. As for the skeleton structure, he's a bug. Should be self-explanatory. (Note: Back legs are for jumping, that's why they are bigger.) Side Front Top View
  12. Brickfair NE ftw! :D

  13. Yeah, I wanted to keep him simple, as I knew I was going to paint him. Thank you, glad you think so! Actually, I put six fingers on one hand.
  14. Here's my latest MOC! It took me around 2 hours to build him, then another 2 to paint. Was originally aiming to build the Didact, but I changed my mind. Comments and feedback appreciated! (Click on the picture to see the full gallery)
  15. Yup, it is! I was able to pick up a few Throwbot sets via yard sales and relatives. Thank you! Ah, glad I'm not the only one... Yeah, it's the same for me there too.
  16. Thanks! Now that would be interesting... But I'd have to add a caption saying nom nom nom if I did add a mouth.. Heh Go figure, now I see that. Never realized the similarities!
  17. If only I took a lot of time for detail... I hated the fact that the back of the legs/arms are always so empty! So I added some filler (not shown). Some advice there, don't rush the MOCs! Take as much time until it looks satisfactory to you. Good there's more on the back!
  18. Listening to music and building works well!

  19. I almost read the title as Meticulous, but alas, that's not the name. My favorite part right off the bat is the upper legs. Good job there! Just in my opinion, the chest looks a little empty. You should try and add some more stuff there, maybe a bit more armoring. The lower legs, maybe consider revising the feet or adding something to the legs in general? Just a little uneven with the amount of detail in the MOC. Jumps from really detailed upper legs to empty chest, etc.. A smooth transition would look better. Last but not least, the arms. Maybe consider making the upper arms more of something like the upper legs? Overall, he looks pretty good, especially considering it's your 3rd MOC here. Like I said, good job!
  20. Thanks! Glad to hear it was crazy in terms of color, exactly what I was aiming for! Also glad you like it! I've taken your suggestion, take a look at the picture I've changed the topic to have! Thank you! Haha, glad you thought that about the head (I would take that as a compliment anytime, getting people to laugh is pretty awesome!). Yeah, they do, but I did it for the color. Thank you! Glad you think that! I've changed the torso though. No idea about this reference... Hmm..
  21. I honestly have no idea why I named him Mr. Teal, but here he is, the product of weird color-scheme ideas.. The head comes off in case of emergency. I gave him one throwbot arm, for disc purposes, and one claw/Flood-styled tentacle arm, for the purpose of melee fights. I'm sorry about the chest, I'm absolutely horrendous at building bodies.. Well, I've changed his body up! Now using a template 2.0 body. Comments and feedback appreciated!
  22. Haha, thank you! Glad you think that! Thank you! Glad you said that; those were my favorite parts too! I was worried about the weapon not going well, but I think a polearm/axe isn't a terribly bad idea for a bear. Thank you again!
  23. Thanks for the replies all. Explains it for me. Though I really think someone should try to make a gallery of all the different printings. That'd be interesting to see.
  24. Hi, after consulting Gatanui, I've decided to make a topic asking about this. I've got a few Gahlok, and their head pieces don't seem to match. The printing differs on mine. 1st pic: The Gahlok (more not in the pic) 2nd pic: The two head pieces side by side, showing the different printing. (Sorry for the quality of pic! I can take a better one if needed!) I was wondering, are these both completely normal? Sorry if the question sounds dumb, I couldn't find much in terms of them.
