  1. IC:Ankt ~Mahi-Fighting~ Ankt caught his spear, then glanced at Verak, then back at the Mahi. Then back at Verak. Then back at the Mahi. Then back at Verak one last time. Then back to the charging Mahi. Then back at Verak.(Yeah, yeah, I'll stop now.) "What the karz has gotten into you brother?" Ankt asked, before joining Verak in charging at the enemies. "I mean, you switch from sad, to mad, to glad, to in pain, to glad, back to sad, then back to in pain, then back to obnoxiously loud gladness, then to sadistic gladness. Is it the jungle? 'Cause back in Ko you kinda just stayed happy, but ever since you've gotten in this jungle your emotions have gone all over the place."
  2. IC:Kai ~Escaping Prison~ The Vortixx quickly found the place where they stored the prisoner's gear. There was Kai's stuff, all stacked up on the top of a large pile of junk. His armor, and his two stolen guns. Kai quickly put on his armor. He glanced at the guns, as Lara's face flashed through his mind. No, those weapons are far too unreliable. Let me see if I can't find myself a more precise weapon... Kai thought, quickly rummaging through the pile. Den the Skakdi Guard "Thliveros! The Vortixx has escaped!" Den called to his superior officer. The Skakdi quickly explained to Thliveros where Kai had escaped to.
  3. Then cut down the jungle. Or burn it. Either or. He's an okay LPer I guess. I'm still on like video 2 or 3 though, so... Oh, btw, you know how you were looking for a village? Me and my bro just started up a world(so we could have a world devoted to Christmas cheer ) and guess what? Not even twenty blocks away from our spawn was a naturally occurring village. Filled with villagers with great trades. I think you're just unlucky...
  4. Quick question, could a Vortixx obtain a different foreign tech item at the cost of giving up one of his/her own? Like a trade?(Or getting a new mask for Toa/Turaga.)
  5. Yeah, probably your best bet. (Although, a spawn mansion sounds like a great idea...) Alternatively, if you really want a spawn shack, you could enable cheats and use the /spawnpoint command. Ahh, I'll have to go look him up. Yeah, I think I'm on the Ender-Mafia's hit list...
  6. IC:Kai ~Ko-Koro Prison~ The Vortixx crept out of his cell, keeping as quiet as possible. Sneaking up behind Den, the Skakdi guard who was watching him,(and also happens to be retiring in ten days so he can live with his wife and kid) Kai slammed the Skakdi's head up against a wall in an attempt to knock him out. The result was less that satisfactory. Den, who only had a bump on the head, whirled around and shot his heat vision at Kai. Kai dodged to the left, and the beam burst through the wall behind Kai, sending a signal to anyone walking past that something had gone wrong. Kai scampered out of the room as fast as he could, and began searching for his equipment.
  7. Yep. Ahh... Never heard of it. Once an Enderman stole my TNT and placed it in my fireplace. In the middle of my house. I was not amused. Alright, if I manage to get it going I'll tell you.
  8. IC:Kai ~Ko-Koro Prison~ The Vortixx sat against the wall, eyes wide open, not moving an inch. He had been like that for three days, still and silent, not sleeping nor eating. He didn't blink, he just stared at the bars imprisoning him. If a guard were to simply check in on his terrorist prisoner, it would appear that Kai had died. And while Kai had died, it wasn't in the conventional way. Kai had mentally died. He had spent the last month or two of his life gathering as much information about The Peers that he could in an attempt to save the islands. He had murdered a little girl to create himself a gun that he could point at the Peers when he finally found them. He had blown up Ko-Koro so that they had an incentive to build up their defenses so that if the Peers attempted to infiltrate Ko-Koro they would be ready. But murdering Lara had not been part of the plan. Kai was the kind of guy who learned things through hands on experience. When making his elemental armor, he had haphazardly put the suit together as soon as he could to see if it would work, not bothering with blueprints, and ignoring anything that his co-workers said, which led to many expensive failures. This attitude put him at odds with his co-workers, but he couldn't help it, because for some reason, Kai's brain was special. Whether it was a virus, a deformity, or a curse from the Great Spirit Mata Nui, Kai's brain didn't process information gleaned from audio or visual inputs as well as it did from his sense of touch. He would've forgotten what he had saw on the blueprints, or what he had heard from his co-workers before the knowledge had been used. The same went for killing people. When he had ordered Xare and Kun to kill Odhrán and the others, his messed up audio input kept him from realizing what a horrible thing it was to send someone to kill another. When he had bombed Ko-Koro, while he did see and hear about the horrible things that had happened, a million was just a statistic. He didn't know any of those people, and to be perfectly honest, even that horrible act didn't register to him as disgustingly unnecessary evil, only as a necessary evil. However, when he killed Pearl and Lara, it was a different story. His brain understood perfectly what he had done to those girls, and had never let him live it down. Every time he closed his eyes he could see Pearl's terrified eyes as she protected the closest thing she had to a family with her life. Every time he grabbed something with his hand, he could feel his sword cutting through her body, or his finger pulling the trigger that sent the bullet through Lara's mask. While Veros had Atonal to help him cope with his failure, Kai had nobody. He was in confined in a cell, and visited once a day by a guard that brought him food that he didn't eat. He had no reason to live, and was fine with simply dying in his cell, until one day when he heard two of the guards on duty talking. "Hey, you heard about the Islets?""Yeah, it's a real shame." "I dunno, I never liked those islands. They always made my skin crawl...""Still, people lived there. Nobody deserves to have their home blown to smithereens." "Oh, so you think what they did to Le-Koro was justified?" "Nah man, I just think their misunderstood." "They attempted to burn down Le-stinking-Koro!" "Whatever man, my shift just ended, I'm outta here." The islets were blown up? Le-Koro was attacked? Is it those guys that Retsel told me about? 'The Peers' I think they were called... Kai's brain began running at a hundred mio a second. If it is, I can't just stay here like a sniveling coward. I killed those two girls for a good cause, and I won't let their deaths be for nothing. I will accomplish my goal, even i die doing so. especially if I die doing so. After a bit, a second train of thoughts popped into his brain. Wait a second, that second guard sounded a lot like... Jest! As soon as Kai came to this conclusion, the bars of his cell began bending open, stopping when there was a hole just wide enough for him to walk through. It seemed that the Toa of Iron had decided that he would help Kai out one last time. OOC:Please note that Kai does not know the name of the Peer's group. It was used for convenience.
  9. Yeah, there is like a 'spawn area' which is like 50 blocks wide/long. You'd need a really big spawn mansion if you want to be safe after death. Alternatively use a bed. Coe's Quest? And yeah, Iron is really common now... Funny story about graves in Minecraft:Me and by bro were playing and we decided to make our own village. So we set up our own mansions, a town hall, a prison, a bank, and our own 'cave of wonders' which we stored out nether portal in. So when we decided that our town needed a populace, we just grabbed all our iron(we had beaten both the wither and the End Dragon, so we had nothing better to do. ) and made a ton of iron golems. But around half of them suffocated in a wall. So then we made a graveyard, and labeled all the graves(Ex: Here lies Steelsword, the best mayor in Desertvilage. We will all miss him.) and left it alone for a while. We came back, and within two minutes of logging in, an enderman had stolen the graves. Yeah, I was thinking of making a private server, but unless my friends can cough up some cash to help pay for it, it's not gonna happen. But if I do end up making it, would you like to join?
  10. Yep. You probably don't have enough resources to make enough rails anyways. ...make a grave at ALL the cliffs. Yeah... I'm looking for a server where I can just play minecraft with other people...
  11. Tagia biomes are cool(hahaha see what I did there. ) but annoying if you spawn in one. I shouldn't... As long as you don't have two non-transparent blocks right next to eachother it should be fine... You said it was by a cliff. Check the cliff for any DNA traces. Ahh... Darn. I was hoping I could find one.
  12. I always get stuck in tagia biomes... So while that is good for fighting the Enderdragon, it's not really all that good for most things... Ahh... Or, you could have it be mostly made out of glass, but then the part with the tracks be made out of a solid material. The solid material doesn't block enough light, so mobs wouldn't be safe, and you'd be able to place rails... Exactly. ...your next task is to find the place where he died, and build a grave. Hey, you know of any good minecraft survival servers?)
  13. I never spawn in forests, or anywhere near them. > Skeleton Sanctuary? And no, I'm pretty sure you can't place them on glass... I'm keeping them on a hunch that in a future update that you can use them to craft/brew special stuff. ;( Did you at least build him a grave where he died?
  14. I don't have the patience to cut down enough trees, so I just use the left over cobblestone. Well I guess above-ground rail systems are a lot easier to build then underground ones... Yep. I think I have an entire stack of poisoned potatoes. Aww... Did you kill him?
  15. Yeah, Lava usually doesn't help when building quarries... Especially if you make a spiral staircase to go from bedrock back to the surface, and then you find out that there's obsidian in the way. > Well that's true... Carrots and Potatoes are easy enough to get if you have enough levels to enchant a looting III sword... Darn plains biome pretending to be a village-plains biome... Yeah, they are quite annoying, and I'd probably just slaughter them too...
  16. Are there any PC Ko-Koro Guards at the Ko-Koro Prison? (Or any Ko-Koro guards actually at Ko-Koro for that matter...)
  17. Really? Only 8 stacks? How big was the mineshaft? Sky bridges are overrated if you ask me. I mean, how on earth will they help you, other than provide a place for skeletons and Zombies to hide during the day? And yeah, finding really cool places is a common problem. Unless you're extremely lucky with world generations(and by this I mean that I keep restarting until I find a world with tons of cool stuff. ) Why exactly are you so dead set on finding a village? Oh... Well never mind then. Make a small room, and fill it with slimes so no more aggressive mobs spawn.
  18. Yeah, if you make a mineshaft that goes straight to bedrock it usually provides quite a bit of cobble. I have a floating helicarrier-esque base floating above the ocean. Yeah, that would be a priority... Yep, that would explain your slime problem. I suggest building a huge wall to quarantine the swamp biome.
  19. Ahh, such is the constraints of having an underground base. I wouldn't worry about a silverfish infestation if I were you, as I've had an underground base or two in an extreme hills biome, and I've yet to see a silverfish spawning block.
  20. Looking for good Minecraft Servers. Any suggestions would be welcome.

    1. Trad

      Trad

      2b2t.net!

I am absolutely horrible in surviving it, but it's quite OK.

  21. Yeah. If you want to say it the boring way, then I guess that works. I would assume so, as long as there is enough light.
  22. Hey, is there anyone looking for interaction in Ga-Koro?
  23. Yes, books take one leather and three paper placed anywhere on the crafting menu. Sugarcane farms usually look something like this: SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS WWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS WWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS With the S standing for Sugarcane(placed on either sand or dirt, there is no difference in current versions I believe) and W standing for water. There are more complex ways that do not require you to break the plant, but the above mentioned method works until you feel like building a more complex farm.(See the Tutorials/Sugar cane Farming page on the Minecraft Wiki for more complex farms.) Ahh... That would probably be due to the fact that Slimes can now spawn in swamps, which is a pretty change.
  24. Yeah, z-villagers spawn naturally... As for books, cow farms and sugarcane farms are great. Slimes? In superflat? I wonder how that happened...
  25. IC:Miha ~Whirlpool Inn~ Miha, having been distracted by Merror's appearance, didn't notice Zealokan enter the inn. "Hey, I'm gonna go see if I can find Angel. I haven't seen her for months, so I'm kinda worried about her." She stood up, and gave Havon a bear hug. "Nice seeing you again Havon, I missed you and the team. Anyways, see 'ya guys!"
