  1. Definitely not the opposite of not being wrong. TPBM has seven meals a day and lives in a boot.
  2. I have an assassin for hire. He's lying on a bench in Po-Koro if you want him. He's reasonably well known (according to me) in the criminal underworld, so chances are your character has heard of him or something. If you have any non-Toa to kill, he's your man (or... Being...)
  3. IC (Trakuda, Tamaru's hut): There was a long silence. Trakuda coughed. "Erm, Tamaru?" OOC: The information I'm trying to get from him is more about my character than about the whole story/quest/thing
  4. IC (Solia, Onu-Koro streets): "Okay, lead the way." Solia responded. As the walked through the dimly lit streets of Onu-Koro, Solia turned back to Zaveno, "So who is this person you speak of?"
  5. IC (Cybervortixx, tunnel): All the Cybervortixx died in the tomb, then suddenly something emotion related happened and caused the soldier's head to explode. The island was free from the cheap ripoff villain that never came to power. Everyone partied. The end. OOC: Well folks, that's the wrap, go back to your lives. The Cybermen are no more.
  6. IC (Traxin, dry riverbed): Sand was kicked high into the air as the Vortixx sprinted for his life. She had no idea where the Toa hunting her was, nor did she care. As long as she kept moving, she'd be fine. Right? Suddenly, a sound like a cacophonous thunder clap filled the riverbed, and the Vortixx covered her ears. But then, as suddenly as it had come, it was gone. There was silence. Not even a gust of wind."Where are you!?" she yelled, terrified and mentally scarred."Here." the assassin breathed in her ear. Before she could react, the cold, sharp pain of a dagger had buried itself in her spine. She choked slightly, unable to breathe or speak as the blade made it's way to her vital organs. Traxin tore the blade from her back and let her limp body fall to the ground, dead. If anyone had been watching him, which was unlikely, he would have vanished. Disappeared into the ether. But in truth, he had activated his kanohi Huna, allowing him to disappear at will.Leaving his usual mark of a T carved into the victim's chest, Traxin made his leave, heading to Po-Koro to relax and unwind after a hard days work. He deactivated his Huna once inside the city, sitting on a park bench, and began to close his eyes and enjoy the sunshine. OOC: Traxin open for interaction. He's an assassin, by the way, so pay him to kill people if necessary
  7. IC (Trakuda, Tamaru's hut): "Hello Tamaru, I'm back! Of course you probably don't remember me. Because that's the thing, I don't, and I wonder if you could help me. You see, I was at Kini-Nui not too long ago and I had a vision, well, I don't think it was a vision so much as a flashback. A memory. What happened was that there was a great battle, one of loss, hardship and determination, at Kini-Nui. I appear to be suffering from amnesia myself, but I remember you from the flashback, so I wondered whether you could help me. What was this battle about? What happened? I know you might not want to talk about it, but you must help me, for both our sakes."
  8. IC (Trakuda, 'downtree'): The leafy lift silently came to a halt at the foot of the great tree on which Le-Koro rested on. As Trakuda hopped out of the strange vehicle, he breathed the scent of a thousand exotic flowers and plants, which surrounded him in a brilliant spectrum of colour. Tamaru certainly had taste living down at the bottom. Spinning around he noticed the manic entanglement of tree roots, buried deep within which was a door made of wicker. It was easily distinguishable. Trakuda clambered over the mess of bent wood, leaf and moss to the entrance of Tamaru's house. He knocked four times, in rapid succession. Hopefully Tamaru was home.
  9. IC (Solia, Onu-Koro streets): "Hahaha! Impenetrable fortresses are always great!" She grinned cheerily as Lux returned to the group, looking slightly less light-hearted than before. "Hey Lux, what was that about? You okay?"
  10. OOC: I'm getting kind of bored of using these guys, ripping off Doctor Who isn't as fun as I thought it would be. Be warned! They may self destruct at any moment IC (Cyberleader, cave entrance): The leader was completely destroyed, pieces of flesh and machinery alike flew around the tunnel like lost fireflies as the dagger and the sword sliced easily through it's circuitry.Meanwhile, the soldier burst through the tunnel wall at the attacking party, firing all it's disks, one for each enemy.
  11. IC (Trakuda, outside Matau's hut): "Quickspeaks? What- Oh, right, quickspeaks! I'll keep that in mind. Thank you Turaga, you have been of great help. Perhaps we will meet again one day." Trakuda smiled, despite being slightly alienated by this strange behavior. He always remembered that Le-Matoran weren't always acting entirely normal, so he tried to act polite. He walked to the lift at the edge of Le-Koro, which led down into the forest. Once inside, he flipped the three strangely shaped yellow levers to the down position, and headed down the tree. Or 'downtree' as the Le-Koronans would call it. Trakuda had to learn some tree-speak some time.
  12. IC (Solia, Onu-Koro streets): "Okay, see you." she called. After the mention of Ga-Koro, she had felt slightly uneasy. He seemed like a nice guy, but it was extremely personal to her. Another part of her mind told her that she needed to relax, it happened to everyone nowadays, and she shouldn't be so disturbed. She sighed."Yeah, it'd be great if you travel with us, the more the merrier!" She grinned. But deep down she was tearing apart at the memories of what had happened in Ga-Koro. She needed to mask it with some casual chat."So, where you from? Mata-Nui, or some other place?"
  13. IC (Solia, tunnels): "I don't really know, but I won't go back to Ga-Koro, that I do know. all I really want to do is to travel, get away from all this darkness that surrounds us on this island. Ah, here we are!" she exclaimed as the taxi entered the light and bustling community of Onu-Koro. Her lightstone was of no more use here, so she stowed it away in her cloak once more.
  14. OOC: Woah, serious mix up here :S I'll just ignore my edited post. It's just he said the branch was growing into his hut :L IC (Trakuda, outside Matau's hut): He unwrapped the village elder from his wooden prison, and once they were both on their feet, he asked, "All I want to know is the whereabouts of Tamaru, do you know where he lives?"
  15. OOC: This post makes no sense now so just ignore it IC (Trakuda, outside Matau's hut): He heard a crash from inside, and burst into the hut. What he found was Matau, upside down, wrapped in a tree branch."Why you stand on top-head? Did gravity toa-hero bad-curse you or something?""Um no, you do realise you're upside down right? Listen, I just want to know the whereabouts of Tamaru, do you know where his hut is? It's nothing important, just some answer finding."
  16. OOC: Skraatuth from Ga-Wahi IC (Skraatuth, rocky beach): A jagged, stormy, desolate looking world faded into view. Skraatuth sat up, taking in her surroundings. It seemed she had inadvertently crashed at the shores of... Somewhere. She slowly got to her feet, checking for injuries as she did so. Fortunately there was no real harm done, just a few cuts and bruises. But the yacht she had stolen was a wreck. Pieces of wood and metal littered the bleak, grey ground on which she stood. But how did this happen? As she took a few steps backward to take in her surroundings, she trod on something sharp. After a sharp intake of breath, she turned to see what it was. A beer bottle. She made a mental not never to drink and sail ever again. By the looks of things, however, she had still ended up in the Kumu Islets, which was lucky. She hopped across several huge boulders that lined the beach, and on to flat ground. She headed in the direction of Xa-Koro, possibly the most wretched hive of scum and villainy ever to exist on the island of Mata-Nui. The perfect place to start a new life. OOC: Skraatuth open for interaction
  17. OOC: Skraatuth has left Ga-Wahi waters...
  18. IC (Skraatuth, Ga-Koro village square): One of the Matoran had seen her. He gestured in her direction as he spoke to the Toa. The Toa's head spun round instantly. It was time. Two more appeared from the rear. Skraatuth knew they were there, but didn't react yet. The first Toa jumped towards her, but she kicked don her stool, knocking him to the ground in a shower of bamboo and seashells. Spinning around, she made sure the other two's ambush was backfired as she bicycle kicked one in the stomach then spun round and sliced through the other's armour with her arm-mounted blades. The first Toa she dispatched had already leapt to his feet, and sprinted in her direction, brandishing his sword. Blocking his attack, Skraatuth, then shifted the position of her blade, slicing the Toa's fingers off, causing him to drop his weapon. Catching the sword, she then proceeded to cut into his legs. He lay crippled on the seaweed-made platform, as Skraatuth then spun around and darted at the one she had kicked earlier. She tackled him easily, then, getting to her feet, she stabbed him in the shoulder, pinning him to the ground. One left, and he was going to be easy. The gash in his belly still caused him great pain, so a hard punch in the face knocked him out.Skraatuth sighed as she dusted off her hands."Men."But it was not over yet. More Toa, this time armed with disk launchers, were sprinting through the village to her position, so she put her plan into action. Darting forward, she rushed to the docks, hurdling Matoran as she went. Once she had arrived, she casually kicked the Matoran boat dealer into the ocean, and hurriedly untied one of the yachts. Five Toa suddenly appeared at the dock just as she left. The opened fire with their disk launchers, foolishly aiming for her and not the ship, so as not to pay the owner. That decision would ruin them. She fired back with a disk launcher of her own, but due to he poor aim, she cold not hit them. Then she saw the support for the jetty. She shrugged, she wouldn't return here in a while anyway. Carefully choosing an extremely sharp bamboo disk, Skraatuth shot the wooden support. The disk sliced easily through it, and the jetty collapsed into the water, taking the Toa with it. Letting out a long sigh of relief, she relaxed and sat down at the side of the yacht. She set course for the Kumu Islets. The boat lazily sailed through the calm waters to Xa-Koro. OOC: Skraatuth to Kumu Islets
  19. IC (Cybervortixx, tunnels): The blast of air knocked out one of the disk launchers. Turning to the soldier, the leader ordered, "Initiate offensive maneuver. I will continue the defensive.""I obey."The soldier entered the small miniature corridor to the side of the base. Travelling down the tight space, it reached the point where it could here the attacks of the Doctor's party moving down the corridor. It waited.Meanwhile the leader fired the five remaining disks, spacing several seconds between each.
  20. IC (Cybervortixx, tunnels): Manning the disk launchers, the leader and the soldier opened fire. The soldier fired two, the leader fired one. Due to the Cybervortixx' enhanced vision, they could see their attackers, but their attackers couldn't see them. They fired one more disk each.
  21. IC (Trakuda, Le-Koro landing platform): Looking out over the vast expanse of jungle before him, Trakuda thought deeply of his past. All he knew now was that there was a battle at Kini-Nui and supposedly his best friend was kidnapped. And some time before that he had flown on the back of a Kewa bird. Nothing made any sense at all. But all of a sudden, he began to feel faint and slightly nostalgic. Another flashback. IC (Trakuda, flashback): The hive drew closer, but Trakuda wasn't sure he was ready. More and more Nui-Rama seemed to cloud the sky, and as the Kewa dipped and swerved around, the pilot seemed to be losing control, "Woah, girl! What's wrong?" The Kewa did not want to go near the hive. And quite right to, in Trakuda's opinion. Suddenly it seemed to buck beneath them. At first he thought it was another spasm, but then he realised the truth. The Nui-Rama had attacked. The stinger stabbed straight into the Kewa's belly, killing it instantly. Before either the Le-Koronan pilot or Trakuda could react, one of the Rama's clawed hands swiped the rider off, his mask flying off, his body falling, limp and helpless, to the jungle below. He was dead before he hit the gorund. The Rama disappeared. Trakuda tightly shut his eyes and clutched the falling corpse of the Kewa as he fell to his certain doom. He could hear and feel the air rushing through his mask, then CRASH!Several minutes later Trakuda awoke to see a Kahu flying into the Rama hive. He wished the rider of that Rahi Pohatu's speed. They would need it. He soon began the long trek back to civilization, staggering from his wounds. He had a long way to go. IC (Trakuda, Le-Koro landing platform): Then there was a face. It was unrelated to his traumatic vision, but Trakuda knew it, albeit not well. He recognized them, they fought at Kini-Nui-"Tamaru!" He cried. Hopping to his feet, he ran to the hut of the village elder, Matau. He had some important questions for him. Once he reached the hut he knocked, and waited for an answer.
  22. IC (Trakuda, Le-Koro village square): "It certainly does!" The feeling of bravery he had experienced in his memories seemed to be returning. This would also be another great way to explore the island and find out more about his past. Speaking of which..."Well, call me when the party's leaving. I look forward to this venture into darkened areas, it seems to me that there should be more leaders like you." and with that, he wandered off, to purchase supplies for this quest, and maybe meet some of the people who could remember who he is.
  23. IC (Solia, Onu-Koro highway): "I don't suppose it's any of our business who they are or what the information is? It's okay if it is, me and Lux know almost nothing about each other!" she grinned.
  24. IC (Trakuda, Le-Koro village square): "I'm Trakuda. I've got more skill than you think you know, I just need the right tools that's all. Well, maybe that's a small exaggeration but we'll get to that." he wondered whether he had spoken a little too much, so he quickly shut his mouth. But not for long, "Where exactly would we be going?"
  25. IC (Trakuda, jungle): This arguement was an enticing one. It appeared one of them, apparently a newcomer, was insane. Judging by the fact that they had just run into a tree, Trakuda guessed the same. Slipping away, Trakuda entered Le-Koro, where he noticed a crowd of Le-Koronans looking at a carved piece of wood on the wall. It read: "SEEKING ADVENTURERS FOR LARGE-SCALE ISLAND TREK.PURPOSE: LIBERATION AND ACQUISITION OF LAND FROM MAKUTA'S HORDES.PAYMENT: HONOR, GLORY, NEW PLACES TO LIVE AND WHATEVER LOOT THAT MAY BE FOUND."This sounded extremely interesting, but Trakuda wondered whether this warrior would accept Matoran."Hi, um, as you can see, I'm a Matoran, so, would I um, be allowed to come on this trek... Adventure.... Kind of... Thing?"
