Also, personal news update: I'm going to Utah for the next school year. So comics will be done there. It's a new computer, new environment, so I don't know how it's going to work. But I will get my comics done.

That wasn't a widget. It was a cog.

It was knocked off the machine when the Rahi at Ga-Koro attacked.

The very definition of the actual word "widget" is the name of something such as a tool or gadget that is usually unnamed or unspecified.

So we may not even know what the actual name of the currency is. Widgets could be gold coins, small gears(as depicted in MNOG II), or even wooden sticks. The point is, widget is just a term for any currency that is unspecified. Even in the image shown in MNOG II has more than just gears. It's all items of value. Disc plates, gears, maybe even studs fit into the mix. Widget means "Something pretty" in Bionicle. Now think about that. Ripping out someone's heart and trying to trade it for a couple wooden discs wouldn't really get you far. It would honestly scare away the salesman, most likely.

Maybe the web has a substance in it that weakens the Matoran's armor.

 

Over time the armor degrades and falls off. Exposing the organics of the unlucky Matoran.

 

Maybe the web also semi digests the Matoran inside. Slowly, over time. Making it easier for the small Spider to consume large targets.

 

The head isn't wrapped so clearly it uses the heads for egg storage.

See, what struck me as funny was how similar we look. I could easily change my mask color and disguise myself as Ghidora. Same with him.

Maybe I can lock him up in a closet if he gets the case and I don't. Just waltz in there by the name Ghidora, and scoop up his case. Only to be interrupted at the end by Ghidora himself, now escaped from said closet. And then we fight straight up in the courtroom. Comedy gold.
