Nicholas Cage is not a vampire, and the fact that some people are stupid enough to believe it makes me feel very sorry for future generations.

Really, I don't think the "Nic Cage is a vampire" thing should be taken too seriously. It's probably a result of a scene (my brain fails to remember in what film) where Cage is running down a street, manically yelling "I'm a vampire!" over and over again.
I find it hard to believe that anyone genuinely thinks he is a vampire, I'd say it's just a gag.
