  1. OOC: Kranuka was standing a ways back allowing his sword to cool off. He certainly wouldn't have been close enough for Kotahk to strike him, and Kotahk wouldn't have swung had Kranuka been in the way. I planned that out. Please edit.

Bunnying someone into hitting their teammate is excusable once, but cannot be overused.

I.C. Kranuka's blade now cooled. He waited for the perfect time to strike.

I.C. The second Kotahk's sword hit the ground, it was up again ready for another swift, powerful strike. He knew it would only be a matter of time before his misguided opponent would run out of stamina.

  2. I hope Makuta is either killed or pushed away for later. I would personally enjoy a new beginning, new threats, etc.

We still can't differ too far from the original canon storyline due to the fact that sometimes we get new members, and the current bzprpg storyline is already confusing to them as it is. We wouldn't want to complicate things too much more than necessary.

  3. I.C. Kranuka's short temper was roused. He had seen a chip of Axeron's sword fly off when the weapons clashed. Great. This fight couldn't last too long.

Kranuka felt the blade in his hands heat up, He twisted sideways to get out of the enemy blade trajectory while removing his sword from Axeron's, He set his stance, sword at ready, giving it a short chance to cool off.

I.C. Kotahk's cooling had finally given way to the heating of Fehron's chain. Kotahk didn't think Kranuka would last long in a fight against this new foe. He lifted his two-handed longsword above his head, and with insane speed, and pakari enhanced strength, brought it down at Axeron. His emotionless glare added to the fact that this powerhouse didn't care what pain Axeron could deal to him, through fire, sword piercing, or even death itself. The fight was ON, and Kotahk had no intention of backing down, or losing.

OOC: Dralcax, if you can respond soon, that would be great.

  4. I.C. Zenex

Zenex looked awkward. He wasn't a fighter he was a planner. But why not have a little fun? "As long as it's a small one. Don't wanna bite off more than we can chew on the first try."

They started toward the mount. "I suppose you should know JUST how powerful this Makuta we may one day fight is... Have you ever heard of Heunai? or the Toa Maru?"

EDIT: It would be impossible for Zenex to know of either of them.

  5. I.C. Kotahk applied his own ice powers to the chain from a distance, slowing down, but by no means stopping the heat conduction.

    I.C. Kranuka

The matoran sliced through the cactus with his blade. He made his way past them to Axeron, and took a swing at his legs.

  6. IC: Rya"Looks like it works great," Zenex said. Rya nodded in agreement. The Toa of Fire became somewhat nervous when the Ko-Matoran began looking at him - but not that they seemed to accept his presence, they felt better."With this weapon, my combat power is doubled," Rya said, "but I'm still nowhere near ready enough to fight the Makuta and win. Although someday... I will. For the time being, though, I must get ready. And I think I'll start by forming that team I was talking about."At that moment, Rya began to think about the companion he had found in Zenex, and the assistance he offered him."Would you like to be a part of it?"

I.C. Zenex reeled back for a moment. When he first walked up to the toa, he had thought it was going to be a simple meet and greet, then he would be on his way... But here was an opportunity. Zenex was a liar, but he still had a conscience, he, like all villains and crooks, still wanted deep in his soul to be a good being. He just lacked the willpower to do it. Light had not yet pierced this creature of darkness. Zenex thought for a moment. He had to start somewhere. And afterall, he was a little fond of the new toa he met.... Hmm....

"Well... I suppose I will. Frankly, I have nothing else to do with my life. And I do need a little bit of adventure."

    IC: Kethyre (Ambages's Apartment)~

"My pleasure," Kethrye replied with a veneer of professional friendliness, nodding at Alfon's show of support and exiting the room. His smile dissipated the moment he left the architects's presence. It wasn't his pleasure, obviously, but keeping the suspect comfortable while they bided their time until Laryn returned from his investigations into Ambages's personal finances, hopefully with the kind of hard evidence they weren't finding in his home couldn't do any harm. And it would lessen the negatives affects of not finding any evidence too.

"Alright, search over," he announced to his men. Most seemed to have stopped on their own anyway, and searching the small apartment had hardly took long. "Stand guard at each of the exits, okay? I don't want anyone entering or exiting without us knowing about it."

He turned and headed back towards Ambages, loitering at the door of the back room to compose himself before entering. Maybe the architect is right, he thought. Innocent, no, he certainly wasn't, but he still might have a point. Maybe I have been letting my emotions get in the way of my duty.

Kethrye breathed in deeply, then exhaled. Logic, literal cold rationality, that's part of Toa of Ice's traditional shtick ,isn't it? he concluded. And keeping that in might prove helpful. Anger and passion may have their place, but this is not one of them. Ambages will pay for what he's done, but only if I'm able to keep a level head. Madrihk

For a moment, the Toa of Ice grinned. Funny, I'm taking the architects words as advice for engineering his downfall. Somehow I doubt that was what he intended. . .

"It's done," Kethrye said, strolling over to the architect.

I.C. Vompran nodded, and left the room. He stood guard outside with the other toa. It was a pity that the search was in vain.

He looked for a safe place to sit down, because he was tired of walking with an artificial foot, but thought it better to stand, lest he should freeze his rear sitting on snow.

  7. I.C. As Rya shot the fire-stream into the air, a few villagers looked about to see what was going on. They concluded that there was no battle, and went about their business. Zenex smiled back at Rya. "Looks like it works great."

  8. I.C.

The BAM sound was indeed there, but not the sound of Kranuka slamming into the cacti, but the sound of his sword crashing into it. Kranuka had held his sword in front of him as he charged, so the sword was the first thing to hit. Unfortunately, he was going so fast that he still made contact with a few thorns. It didn't hurt him. He wore good armor and cacti thorns aren't very sharp. Just prickly. He was kind of disgusted, but not mad about it.

  9. I.C. Zenex was about to point out that if Makuta was controlling him, it was Makuta who had done those terrible things, not Rya, but he was interrupted.

"There are many good places to find a weapon. Especially in this culture, with evil everywhere and all. I got my axe from one of those markets over there." He pointed west. "I'm sure there is a befitting weapon there for a toa such as yourself."

  10. I.C. Kranuka

The matoran was tired of watching this. He wasn't going to let a toa ruin his day. He rushed into the fight. Kranuka wielded a superior blade. It was sharpened to the point that it cut the sheath. It was more powerful than any other blade he knew of, but like all good things, it had a weakness. It was a very short blade. A dagger, more-so, and Kranuka had short arms because he was a matoran. These added up to a horrible disadvantage of range.

He wasn't doing this... It was stupid. It was reckless. It was how matoran get their faces mopped up off the floor after a battle. But Kranuka didn't care, he took the risk anyway. If there was ever an adventure Kranuka never took, it was in an alternate universe.

Kranuka charged like a Kane-Ra. Rushing toward Axeron, his skills at weaponry would be put to the test. He shoved his sword at the place where Axeron kept his knives hoping to spill the rest of them on the ground. He had to be about out of knives by now.

  11. I.C. Zenex

"Well, setting a system of beliefs is the first step to getting things done. If you don't know what you believe in, you're no different than the darkside that you are fighting. Don't call me a theologian or anything, I just happen to notice a lot of toa out there who want to help people for no reason at all. It's all pretty aimless to me, but nobody says you can't start a team without morals."

OOC: I assume because the owner of Ambages (sorry I forgot your username) hasn't told me that Vompran found anything, his search turned up no results.

    I.C. Vompran

This would be awkward for Matoro... If no one else found anything.

"I got nothing..." He said to Kethryre as he returned from his fruitless search. Pity. This could end up as one big pain in the rear if no one else could do anything about it.

  12. OOC: Keep in mind that dodging every attack, even with a cailix is still considered godmodding. ;)

I.C. Kotahk's snow that he spread across the ground minutes earlier had completely melted from the fire by now. Kotahk fired a stream of ice at Axeron while he was hurling a firestream at Butra's disgruntled mask.

  13. I.C. Kotahk thought he would choke to death on the hot air. He caught Geons signal. He wasn't able to do much about it. He was badly oppressed by the heat. His pakari enabled him the endurance to continue. Only that. He observed Axeron's hiding place, and looked at the proper set of footprints in the frost he had laid before. IDENTIFIED he thought.

  14. I.C. Zenex Magna

"Well, Vortixx are an evil species in general. Guards are very suspicious of us from time to time. It makes me uncomfortable, even though I haven't done anything."

Now that was a lie, although no one could tell.

"So, on the subject of a noble species, what do you plan to do with your life? Help defeat Makuta? Save matoran from lesser villains and thugs? Or simply be awesome."

I.C. Vompran Looked about the area. He was mostly concerned about finding something like a hidden passage or compartment. He looked many places. He felt the walls and floors, and telekinetically pulled (very lightly) on various parts of the ceiling via his matatu to search for an attic or passage or something of that sort. He looked under furniture and various places like that.

He still kept an eye on Verak.

  15. I.C. Kotahk was silent... This was getting weird...

I.C. Kranuka thought for a moment... He thought this could be some kind of trick to get everyone to stand still for one of Axeron's throwing knives, but he warily spoke. Hoping to enlighten the challenger. "Truth? Makuta has taken over a land that was not his own. It's our job to protect the island from him in any way we can... I am an explorer at heart. I can't sit still. I am restless. My life is pointless unless I point it in the right direction; helping others is how I re-channel my energy. It's far more worthwhile than anything else I have applied myself to. Making and selling weapons for example... One of my passions that just doesn't carry any weight."

  16. I.C. Vompran -Ambages home-

Who couldn't help second guessing themselves in an investigation? He figured Kethrye wouldn't he was usually pretty hard-headed in what he did. No doubt he would still be suspicious. Still... Something wasn't right. Still trying to figure out what...

Vompran warily looked at Verak. There is no way I am letting him look through a rich man's things without an eye watching his every move. He thought.

I.C. Zenex Magna -Just outside of Ko-Koro-

"Axes are pretty useful. I use one myself. It's a light-weight version. The only trouble with them is the inability to block attacks. They are far too bulky, but if you're fast like me, you don't have to block. Just get out of the way."

The two entered the village and Zenex nervously tried to ignore the guards. What a curse to have to hide yourself every time you walk by someone you think you know.

Once past the guards, Zenex spoke again. "If you don't mind my asking, who was that matoran outside the village?"

  17. I.C. Kranuka

Even from the charred forest, he could feel the energy ripple from the mountain of the great telescope, and see the brilliant spectacle of light in the sky from a distance. He seemed worried... He had no idea if this was good, or bad. An omen to the light finally piercing the darkness and the end of Makuta, or something else... He had only a split second to contemplate. Axeron was on the move.

  18. OOC: Just so you know, Zenex would be a little hesitant to give Rya his real name because he is guilty of some crimes in the area. He would most likely have given him a false name. ;)

We'll just say Zenex gave him his real name because Rya isn't from around here.

    I.C. Zenex Magna

"Oh yes, of course... It's right this way. Past this snow drift..." They passed the snow drift... "Ok... It was THAT snowdrift." Sure enough, as they walked, the village of snow was within eyeshot.

"So what do you plan on trading your ruru for? Some sort of weapon perhaps? Or maybe some snowshoes."
