When my parents gave me, my first Bionicle set, Toa Mata Pohatu; I didn't think of collecting Bionicle sets until after the day after the 9/11.

Since then, my collection grew as did with my other interests with other Lego theme sets like Galidor, Slizers/ThrowBots, RoboRiders, Alpha Team, Rock Raiders, Agents, etc.

Luckily and strangely, most of my Bionicle sets (and other things related to it) were found and brought at my local thrift stores (all new or like new). About 5% of them were brought from retail stores (like the former KB Toys) while the other 5% were B-day/Christmas gifts, or trades).

For most people who thinks I'm making this up. I'm not kidding (for more proof, I went as far as leaving the price stickers on the canisters)
