  1. IC: Thomast

Thomast was more than a little shocked at a computer of sorts telling him what to do. From what he understood of them, they obeyed the programmer. "But I'm not the programmer, am I? Mystery upon mystery." he whispered to himself.

He quickly jabbed the keyboard to answer the little machine.

    > I My name is Thomast, a Glatorian. Here with me is Nurrad, a Vortixx, my friend. Another Glatorian, another Vortixx, and a Toa. I do not know their names. Ajuni does still run the hotel. As for your tree, I will have to turn you over to another being.

Thomast hit the enter button, stood up from the keyboard, and motioned for Harata to take the helm. After all, she had been in the junkyard as of late, making her the expert in the room.

  2. And the Baterra? The normal GB creations for stopping an EL-led war? Do they exist in this universe?

    No, they don't.

The Baterra were created to stop the Core War, but that never came to pass. The plans they had were put aside as the GB continued to work on other things. When the war broke out, the GB, instead of using old plans, decided to create a new warrior to quell the fighting: Toa.

I reasoned that, since the GB liked creating things, why use an old design when they could create something new?

This is, without a doubt, one of the best descriptions of Chima I have ever read.

Indeed. He does have a point.

Although whether CHI qualifies as a drug is somewhat iffy. I prefer "Phlebotinium", especially since it gives powers to characters. It's more like a power rivalry.

A drug is any chemical you take that affects the way your body works. Alcohol, caffeine, aspirin and nicotine are all drugs.

It would be considered a drug, techically. Totally besides the point though(although I'm glad my DDR training is finally useful.).

    actually, i'm a girl, fishers

oh, and nice rebuttal there, athmos. thanks for scientifically backing up my Witty Quip

Welcome. I didn't put myself through several hours of DDR training to NOT use it, heh heh.

  4. Interesting. There haven't been many RPGs focused on that part of Bionicle. So conflict between the ELs eh?

What of the MU though. If there was no Core War, what happens to the big bot?

The MU never comes into existence, as there is no need. However, the GB do build Toa Prototypes to try and quell the war. However, only 1 in 75 are sentient; the rest are warriors obeying the will of the GB. No other MU species exists.

  5. By the way, are any of you interested in my revival of the Iroiit species as playable custom species? They're a race of four-armed subterranean creatures with highly different moral systems and language to overlanders. I have one currently active (from ladt arc), but I want to see if you guys would be interested in playing such a peoples.

I'd be interested. Could you give more details and all the fixings?

  6. OOC: Doing a small time adjustment.

    IC: Thomast, Nurrad

Thomast turned and looked at the newcomer. If these beings had been in the junkyard as of late, he needed that information. The land was dangerous, and he wanted to gather the info for future generations.

Thomast opened his mouth to speak but the computer uttered a voice, distorted but understandable, warning Nurrad not to pull him apart.

"You speak?" Thomast asked the machine, then quickly typed in his question machine and hit the enter key.

    OOC: Lots going on.

  7. Quick question, if none of the other landmasses are known about by the characters, then where did they (the characters in game) come from? And if they came from other landmasses, then why don't the characters ever mention the other landmasses?

    1. Good question.

    2. Because the mods said so, which is an appeal to authority, but whatever.

  8. IC: Thomast, Nurrad

By this point, Nurrad was drawn to the wonder that was Jack, the computer. She came over and poked Thomast in the side, asking, "What does it do besides play some music?"

Thomast, even though he was about to respond to the other female Vortixx, had his attention changed to his rather rude companion. "Ah! Nurrad, I told you to stop doing that. But on the subject of Jack, here, he seems to have a form of memory. I have no idea how large it is, and given its-his-age, I rather not pull it-him-apart."

Nurrad rolled her eyes. Thomast was such a prude, even to machines. "It's just a machine. You can pull it apart and put it together all day long, and nothing will change."

  10. IC: Thomast

Thomast was puzzled. How could a machine know how it was feeling? Prehaps it had a virus of sorts. Thomast knew that computers were capable of holding great amounts of information and programs. This machine could be the center of the revival of the city!

First, it needed a name. "Actually, I should ask it its name first. If it has one." he murmered.

    > I What is your name?

He hit the enter button, and waited.

  11.

And the Toa Nuva are the most powerful Toa team out there(I believe), so who's to say they can't make 12 each before they turn into Turaga? Tahu, with all his powers now, could make several dozen, in theory.

Or maybe the Nuva's Toa Stones could turn regular Matoran into other Toa Nuva, so Matoran/Toa/Turaga Nuva could be like "The Matoran Race 2.0". And also would the Nuva become regular Turaga or Turaga Nuva?

I don't think just because it came from a Toa Nuva, it would make the Matoran turn into a Toa Nuva. It's Toa Power, pure and simple. Toa Nuva just have a ton more of it.

The Toa Nuva, I believe, would become Turaga Nuva. Slightly more powerful than their Turaga counter-parts.

  12. If I remember correctly, Lhikan basically gave up almost ALL of his Toa Power to make six stones, the Toa Metru only gave up a small portion to make one each.

And the Toa Nuva are the most powerful Toa team out there(I believe), so who's to say they can't make 12 each before they turn into Turaga? Tahu, with all his powers now, could make several dozen, in theory.

Assuming there isn't some canon explanation for all this I haven't heard of. :P
