When is the winner announced?

Well, at least elemental mask powers are not unheard of in bionicle gen 1. Then again, what exactly makes them Toa now? Do they have any elemental powers without their masks? What exactly is the difference between the colored masks and the gold masks?

It's hinted at that the masks the Toa wear are just elemental masks. Instead of being called a "Miru", or the "mask of levitation", it's being called the "mask of jungle". Then again, that might just be referring to the golden masks, and the colored ones still have their original powers.

NO. All hail the bionicle master race! We must find a name to rally behind as we steadily consume all other fandoms! Joking aside, I'm kind of neutral on it. Coming up with a name here doesn't really seem to work, and even if we came up with one, chances are it wouldn't catch on. However, if a good name pops up out of the blue somewhere, I wouldn't mind. I really don't think it's that foolish, because being a fan of a toy line targeted at 7-12 year olds sounds pretty foolish already A fandom name will not just let people know that we obsess over a children's toy line, but that we are also PROUD of it.

OK, this "ONYA" typo is bothering me. How long will it take for them to fix it? And how did that typo even slip in the first place? YOU HAD ONE JOB, LEGO. Maybe I'm blowing this out of proportion...

The skull spiders do attach to the faces, so they might play a similar role as the Krana. I can see Lewa getting one stuck to his face, and Onua having to fight him..... for the nth time.

As I had said before, I still believe that we'll see some 3-D CGI clips of these Toa in ads. When advertizing, you want to make it look almost exactly like the product you're selling, so it would not be wise to advertize Bionicle in cartoon-format. It will either be that, or clips of people holding the Toa, and then a clip of the cartoon, but I think that is unlikely.

Coldplays hurts like heaven might fit the theme well, but i prefer original music from lego, hopefully cryoshell.

Exactly. I'm going with the idea that TTV is making up stuff right now. A reboot is just that - a reboot. A dog-bone shaped Vahi is not enough evidence for this insanity. I'm not sure why they would want to connect them: that confuses new fans with 10 years of backstory. I'm not saying I want that, it's just with these rumors of a soft reboot, I was speculating how it could work.

As many as I can. But to prioritize, Kopaka would come first, then Tahu, then Onua, then Gali, then Lewa, and finally Pohatu.

I'm hoping that those bios are a bit exaggerated to draw some younger kids in, but the comedic element isn't as strong in the actual media. They should have learned that bionicle can't force humor from the legend reborn.

This is getting crazy, someone needs to make one big list of things that have been 100% confirmed today. Speculation is getting mixed with facts, and im not sure who to listen to anymore. MOUP. MOUP all the way.

I wonder if we will ever get the MOUP (mask of ultimate power) in a set, it looks like its design is supposed to be a secret now, since it is mostly covered by that fire... stuff. It reminds me of when we first saw the Mask of Life in the comics. At the time, it was extremely generic and simplified. It only had more detail in the CGI animations, which was the actual mold.

I wonder if we'll get a better name for the "mask of ultimate power", or at least say what it does more specifically. Until then, we'll just have to abbreviate it as MOUP, which sounds kind of ridiculous. The Mask of Control, however, sounds awesome

Has anyone else noticed that when Makuta forges the "Mask of Ultimate Power" his face lights up with all 6 element colors?

While at first I did not like the animation, it's starting to grow on me a lot. I can defiantly see the influence from MNOG, which helps. Also, THE OLD NARRATOR IS BACK! I was so sad when they got rid of him for the Glatorian years. Story-wise, It's similar enough to maintain that "Bionicle-feel", yet different enough to give us a brand-new story with brand-new mysteries. I'm only worried that they'll try to put too much humor into it, it didn't really work the last time they tried in Bionicle (tlr). I hope wee see some CGI animations along with this. I think we will, since you want to closely resemble the sets when advertizing in commercials. Overall, I'm hyped!

Current theory: Something catastrophic happened in the main universe that threw the Toa into the Okotu-universe (it could still be in the main universe, but out of ignorance, lets call it that). They help fix whatever problems are going on, and for the big twist, they return to the main universe where they fight the thing that threw them into the Okotu-universe in the first place. That's one way they could connect the old story to the new one.

Sets look great, good storyline setup, but I'm not sure how I feel about the humor... last time they tried to mix humor and bionicle, it didnt turn out well cough-tlr-cough
