I would assume that the Mask of Life fixed the Matoran and they found their way out of the MN robot. I think they would probably have to keep their masks from Karzahni. I wonder what would happen to the Matoran turned to stone.

Canonical storyline??!! I am squeeking in PURE HAPPINESS right now!!!!!!!!!! congrats, guys.

Thanks. I'm pretty sure that it was a sonic signal. I believe it was in Destiny War where Krakua awakened the Bohrok as a last resort against the Rahkshi they were fighting. The Rahkshi fought the Bohrok and the Bohrok fought back, The Rahkshi not knowing that the Bohrok only wanted to cleanse Mata Nui. I have a feeling that they were on Metru Nui, because that would make more sense. I'm not 100% positive on that, considering I haven't read that serial in forever.
Depending on what you mean by "most", this is probably incorrect. The Bohrok had many nests above the ceiling of the dome so in the front of the head, not the back, and the extra nests that were beneath Metru Nui, or at least some, were confirmed to be relatively high up. We know that most of the "basement" of Metru Nui survived; it was the deepest layer that contained the machinery of Mata Nui's brain itself that was destroyed. So most of the Bohrok should have survived.Even if close to or more than fifty percent of the "backup nests" under Metru Nui were destroyed, the Bahrag themselves and a plenty huge number int he front of the head survived.I would say that most of the Bohrok are probably crushed by the impact of the Mata Nui robot being hit in the head with a planet, which makes sense.
Anyone could, except the signal is the tricky part. I don't think we know what kind of a signal it is; I presume that by mentioning Krakua you were guessing it's a sonic signal, but it could be more like a radio signal. We don't know what it is. But yes, IF you could somehow get them to wake up, and if you could dekrana some, you could give them voice commands and they would obey you.I also have a question: If a lot of the Bohrok did survive, could Krakua remove their krana and awaken and control them? You know, if he went bad.
The Bohrok were made from Av-Matoran, and I assume the Matoran have organs, considering the term "heartlight". I have never taken much research into the organs thing though, I probably should.
The purpose of the Bohrok (there is no plural s on Bionicle words ) was to "clean" the camouflage island that the Mata Nui giant robot could make to hide his face if he landed on his back in an ocean. He often did this as part of studying alien planets (though exactly why we're not sure). The Bohrok would loosen up plant cover, compacted earth, and rock layers so that the giant robot would not have to push too hard to sit up, so that his face would come up through the loosened island, destroying it, so he could stand up then and leave. What was the purpose of the Bohroks? And how is it possible to take their krana if it is beneath the faceplate? What are they cleaning? Is it the krana controlling the Bohrok or does the Bohrok need a krana to control himself? Do they all need the krana to function? Are they 100% robot or do they have organs? -
My favorite is the Kraahkan, the Mask of Shadows. As for one I wish was in existance, probably a mask of Light Speed, that might be worn by Photok if he were to become a Toa.

I think the Dark Hunters could be considered a gang if not for their large numbers. I believe that, in their early stages, they could have been considered a gang.Would you say the Dark Hunters are a gang? -
I wouldn't think that other Av-matoran becoming Toa would possess the same amount of power as Takanuva, unless they were to don the Mask of Light. I figured that Takanuva's power came from his Mask power as well as his elemental power. Don't hold me to that, though. I assume that, if trained to a high enough standard, Takanuva or any other Toa of Light could eventually master shadow, even without a shadow leech mutation. As the alternate Teridax said," What is Shadow but the absence of Light?"

Did the Barraki have Kanohi masks and acess to their powers? Did they have powers, for that matter? Anything that would help me to understand this is very helpful.

I have a theory, but its kinda long winded. The toa Inika were toa first. So, The Toa Inika were created, the fight the Piraka and Barraki, then return to Metru Nui, Then the Toa Nuva go to Karda Nui. The Makuta had only arrived there only a few days before the Nuva, So Gorast couldn't be there before the Inika existed to fix Vultraz. After Vultraz was modified, He tried to capture Krakua (as a matoran, of course). Then Krakua became a toa. we can only assume that Krika, Bitil, and Gorast arrived at Karda Nui the same time that Antroz, Vamprah, and Chirox did. Although, the only loophole os that Vultraz was modified before the Mistika Makuta were mutated by the mutagenic waters of the Karda Nui swamp.

I believe that controllers of Earth control things more along the line of dirt and mud, rather than rocks. Toa of Stone, however control rock, stone, and can find stone's weak points. As T.B.O.C said "Throw some dirt at someone, then throw a stone. Different? It's like that, basically.(excuse my old school quote, I'm new at bzpower, so I don't know how absolutely everything works yet.)

I loved 2008 and stuff that happened in Karda Nui. Share any thoughts or theories about the Makuta, Toa, Matoran, energy storm, and all that stuff.

I assume it is possible, given the Aki and Rua, the Golden Masks of the Toa Mata and Nuva, and the assumption that mask powers would combine if two wearers (most likely toa, but makuta are also a possibility) are hit by energy from the Spear of Fusion. If it wasn't broken, of course. It could have been done before the Spear's destruction however.

I believe that they can only launch their Rhotuka in the storyline, not the movie. I think that the Rhotuka are more canon, but it is possible that the Rahaga can spin their Rhotuka and not launch them, essentially creating a propeller.

My favorite villain by far is Krika. I saw him as a sad, little (little being a relative term), and unwilling villain. If the Karda Nui characters had been given another half a year, Krika could have really shined, maybe even turned to the good side. He would finally be able to freely battle the power that was about to enter the universe. I'd say that, given something to make him extremely hateful, he could have been a close second to the awesomeness of Teridax's rule. The first thing he would probably do would be to kill Gorast, given that she tried to kill him and failed. Sorry, I kind of got off topic, so...Krika rules! Best villain! Woo!

Here is my list from best to worst. ( I am basing this completely on battle skills in case you're interested.)1. Pridak2. Mantax3. Ehlek4. Carapar5. Kalmah6. TakadoxPridak is the best fighter as well as one of the most "sharp" considering he has fin blades for weapons. Or they may be Takea Shark teeth or something, I was always a little fuzzy about that. You may be wondering why I put Mantax so far up on the list. I always figured he was the smartest of the Barraki, even though Takadox was the most scheming, if that's even a word. He even handled the Mask of Life, so I think that would have at least strengthened him a little. Plus, if the Barraki are all slugging it out, I'd think that Mantax would hurry under the sand and wait for another to step on his poisonous head spikes. Ehlek was my next one. I mean, he has big claws, electric spines, and a fragile temper. Carapar would have been higher on my list if Takadox's hypnotism hadn't made him so stupid. Kalmah relies on his armies too much, so I put him lower on the list. Takadox is the last because he would probably run away and wait for the rest of the Barraki to kill each other.

I say that the entire 2006 storyline, minus the chamber of life, was a fail. the piraka really disappointed me. I would have liked them a lot better if their faces looked like the Bionicle Stars Piraka, even though that Skakdi wasn't really a Piraka. I also absolutely hated Bionicle 2009. I think they would have been better off making sets from Teridax's reign of shadows. The Glatorians didn't make sense until Mata Nui poofed in that sand dune.

It stinks that it can't be Tren Krom, I liked his character. But anyway, I think it's a Makuta. We can't just assume that they all died. I mean, the power of adaptation means nothing to anyone anymore! They could have adapted to surviving the energy storm. Even Krika could have adapted to Gorast's mask of power

good point. I totally forgot that Miserix dispatched the Makuta. I suppose, though, that Teridax could still have used those Makuta to his advantage after he overthrew Miserix. Teridax could have destroyed the other Makuta after taking control of the Mata Nui robot. I stand by the Barraki statement though

Some of you may be asking about the difference between fire and plasma. As far as I can understand, the only difference is fire can control flame, as plasma cannot. It may be possible however, for a fire being to melt rock into lava, much like a being of plasma.

This has always been a very interesting topic to me. I have a theory that another branch of his plan has something to do with the makuta scattered across the Matoran Universe. I think he deployed some of his most powerful makuta to eventually take over each region and then Teridax would become a ruler of an entire universe. (entire meaning that he didn't know about Spherus Magna and all the stuff around that.) He would probably find it easier to put Mata Nui to sleep, obtain the Mask of Life, kill him, bring him back to life, and take control of the Mata Nui Robot. He would then become the "Universe". He could want every intelligent being in line through his troops so he could romp through the universe doing what he pleases. I would also like to point out that, as much as he hates the Barraki, they were his inspiration for taking over the universe.

2008 DEFINITELY deserves a movie!! An introductory sequence like the one in the MoL explaining what happened to the Nuva, Mahri, and the Ignika would definitely help. But the way they did some of the other Bionicle movies makes me wonder if the film people would just mess it up, like in the Legend Reborn. Half of the Glatorian legends had no significant storyline importance!2010 would be a pretty good movie also, if the movie makers gave every character a decent depth and they showed some of the battles that happened outside of the Bionicle Stars viewpoint.
