Well, my friend, I have to disagree. I read the first three books, and they changed some characters ( even some of the main ones ) and, if I recall correctly, also some of the major events. They're not outrageously big changes, but I feel like they are telling a different story. However, I remember hearing that GRRM himself was behind the writing of the episodes...

Well at the moment I am in love with both. I feel like show does some chats better like the hound, but the book does some better, like Jon Snow.

Whereas Tyrion is perfect in both.
