Its finally here. Remember this is a sequel to Tahu's mission so i recomend reading that first.Part one: The Start of the War."We have to move! Come on!" said a red agori. His name was Ranak, and he was a commander of the agori republic army. Ever since the war started he had been evacuating agori and matoran from villages being attacked by skrall. They had come into villages and taken all of the glatorian and toa captive. Right now he was protecting some jungle agori from the skrall. If the toa and glatorian didn't surrender they would attack. They killed everyone. The rahkshi came too. They were even more vicious. They would torture them with poison. Rip them apart. As far as he knew the only major city remaining was new Atero. And he knew that it would not remain standing for long. Anyway his job was to save the inhabitants of the villages under attack. He would go and find as many survivors as possible. He was using secret tunnels under the village to evacuate the agori. But the tunnels were almost at its end."Alright we're going to be out in the open soon. Stay close. Don't wonder off. And watch each others backs. It only takes one to wipe us all out." said Ranak to the group.He grabbed his sword. The same sword all fire agori had. And a shield. He looked like Raanu (which was the way all fire agori looked) but he was a lot younger."Get ready." said Ranak.He and the group ran outside. It was dark and there was smoke rising into the air. There were burning buildings and he could hear the screams of agori until they were silenced by a skrall or rahkshi. It was horrific. One of the skrall ran towards Ranak."Look out!" yelled Ranak. He put his sword up and stabbed the skrall right through. It died instantly. Ranak had to be good at fighting for his job. He had killed countless skrall in his time. It was easy for him. He grabbed his thornax launcher from his back and put his shield away. He found a skrall and shot at it. The skrall fell down but wasn't dead. Ranak shot it again and this time it died. He saw two more and got a headshot on both."Its safe! Lets move!"But Ranak was wrong. He led the group past an alleyway. But unknown to him there was a skrall hiding in the ally. It jumped lit as he passed."No!" said Ranak. The skrall attacked the group. It killed all of the civilians and left the other two of Ranak's team fighting. The skrall hit one of them on the head.Ranak came up and shoved his sword through the skrall. He ran over to his fallen comanion."Hes dead." said RanakHe looked up to his remaining companion"its Tarna right?" said Ranak"Yeah lets get out of here. There is nothing we can do" said Tarna"Yeah. Lets go" said RanakHe and Tarna slowly walked out of the burning village. Ranak looked back at the fallen buildings. So many lives lost. This war had taken a toll on everyone. He wondered if it was even worth fighting. The skrall would kill more if they fought. But the. He thought to himself, if Teridax wins he will control everything. He will be a vicious dictator. We will loose all freedom. That is worth fighting for. That is worth dying for.Mata-nui looked out over the great wall of new Atero "See anything Ackar?" he yelled down."No! Not yet!" he replyed.Acker and Mata-nui were some of the only toa not captured. Along with them was Takanuva, Jaller, Lewa, Gresh, and Hahli. And of course Tahu. But he had been on a mission since the start of the war. He had been gone for a month. His mission was apparently important. And he had a tool that could help them. The golden armor. If they could use it again they might have a chance.In the distance they could see a green figure flying towards them."That must be Lewa." said Takanuva.He flew closer until he landed right by the toa."Did you see anything?" asked Jaller"Yes... An army... Skrall and Rahkshi... Not far from here. We only have about a day." said Lewa.He was out of breath from flying. "We have to get ready. Tomorrow i will need to leave. I will try and defeat Teridax on my own. Its our last resort. If New Atero falls then I will be the only way to stop Teridax." said Mata-nui"If they come tomorrow then we will not fight. Too many agori. Cant let them die." said Ackar. The other toa agreed."You have all been good friends. I wish you all good luck." said Mata-nui.The next day came. Mata-nui gathered his things and got Click. He packed a bag with a little bit of supplies and walked off. The others awoke later on in the day. But they did not prepare to fight. Instead they all gathered at the arena to mourn for the toa. The toa who had already been captured or had died fighting for freedom. The remaining toa and glatorian were in the center of the arena. They knew that they would have to surrender and be held captive by the skrall. They held a ceremony for all that they had done. The toa ate and drank their last meal before they would go to their prisons. "I am going to miss this" said Ackar."Yeah... Wait a second. Where is Takanuva?" said Jaller. He was right. But little did the group know that Takanuva had slipped away before even Mata-nui left."Where did he go? Did he run away! Mybie he was afraid!" said Gresh."No. Takanuva wouldn't leave us on our own for the good of himself. He would never do that. If he left he did it for a good reason. Maybie he has a plan." said Jaller"And what would that plan be? How could one toa make a difference? How could he come up with some plan on his own?" said Hahli."Trust me, I know Takanuva. He is good at that stuff even as a matoran. He has a plan of some sort." said Jaller.The group looked at each other. They were all scarred for themselves and the fate of the world. With no one protecting it what would happen? Would Makuta just walk in and take control of everything? It didn't matter to them. Even know everyone still had hope of freedom they knew it was just a dream. Not a reality. They knew that all of those agori and matoran out there who still believed they had a chance were helpless. There truly was no hope. They looked out to the sky and saw Lewa approaching."Its time." he said. The toa looked at each-other. All with fear in their eyes. They slowly walked next to each other. Vakama came to them and looked at them. He was saddened to see his friends go. "Do not fear them. Just be strong. You may not have much in there but you will have each other."with that Vakama just walked away. No promise of getting them free. Just be brave. The toa slowly walked out of the arena. They saw the army of skrall. One of them had chains that they all knew were meant for them. The toa came and gave their weapons to the skrall. They put their hands out and were binded by the wrists, and neck. The skrall held the chains attached to the toa so they could never escape."At last! New Atero is ours!" yelled one of the skrall."pick up your feet and move!" said another. The toa were blindfolded and forced to march into the distance. Knowing that the war was as good as over."Watch out!" yelled Gelu.He was fighting against the skrall who were raiding the village he was hiding in."Go! Go!" he yelled to the ice agori.He decided he would not surrender to the skrall scum. He would try and escape. The war was not over while he was still standing and he knew it. Even if he was the only one he would continue to fight. He ran at two skrall ready to fight him. He stabbed the first with his ice slicer and froze the other one. He saw one of them on the roof of a hut and shot it down with his thornax launcher."Stupid grunt." he said and took the skrall's shield.He turned and saw a skrall running at him with its sword extended above its head. Gelu put the shield up and blocked the skrall's blow. He took his ice clicer and jabbed it into the skrall's side. It screamed in agony and fell to the ground. It wasn't dead yet. Gelu thought for a second to put it out of its misery. He looked at where he had stabbed the skrall. There was a huge gash in its armor. He walked over to where it lay. It looked at Gelu. He could see in its eyes that it wanted to be put out of his misery. He took his ice slicer and shoved one end into its head. The screeching skrall stopped moving and screaming and lay silent. Gelu ran to a group of square huts that were partially in the ground. It was much easier to just dig out homes than to build them. He ran on the connected rooftops of them, pushing skrall off of the edge as he ran. He came to a hut made out of clay and as soon as he lay his foot on it, the ceiling collapsed underneath him. He was dazed for a second. He looked up and saw two skrall above him. He acted fast and grabbed his ice slicer and threw it at the first skrall. He grabbed the second one by the arm and punched it in the face. He took its sword and stabbed it into both the skrall's chests. He picked up his ice slicer and ran outside. He looked around a little until he found the exit to the village."Gotta act fast!" he said.He ran as fast as he could, dodging any projectiles launched at him and blocking the skrall's melee attacks. He ran to the exit of the villange and went right through the gate. He could see over the wall that surrounded the village. It was burnt to the ground. He knew he had to hurry. The skrall would be looking for him. He would have to find shelter before dark.Ranak opened his eyes. It was early morning and the sun had just risen. He looked over at Tarna, who was still sleeping. They had found a small cave only ten feet in which they had taken shelter in. They had started a fire and fell to sleep fast. Ranak sat up. All h had was his weapons, a fire staff (used as a torch and to start fires) and a sleeping bag. He walked out of the small cave and looked out at the large land mass. He was on the side of a mountain. Good hiding place. "Whats goin on?" said Tarna."Just woke up. We need to discuss what we are going to do now. There is no military bases within a days walk of here that are still standing. And all of the villages have been conquered as well." said Ranak."What about Atero? Think they are still holding out?" said Tarna"I doubt it. The skrall probably took that place already." said Ranak"I think it may be our best bet. What else will we do. We've seen what they do after taking over a village. They don't kill everyone. They occupy it and take all of the toa and glatorian out. Even if it is in the skrall's hands we could still get in and out without getting killed. What else are we going to do? Just hide out in the woods and become assassins. Try and survive while the skrall look for us?." said Tarna"Mybie. Its not a risk. But it is a long walk. Its at least three days on foot." said Ranak"Okay, i also heard a rumor about these air ships. In Atero. They got them out of the matoran universe. They are going to evacuate as many agori as possible to a safe zone to mybie even start a rebellion. If they haven't been taken yet we could try and get on one of them." said Tarna"That sweetens the deal. We could try and find some vehicles and drive there." said Ranak"Now we're talking!" said Tarna "Lets get moving!"They walked down the small mountain and towards Atero. They had little hope of it still standing but there was always a chance. The skrall had taken everything from them both. And Ranak wanted revenge. He wanted every skrall to Suffer in pain for eternity. They deserved it for what they had done. So many innocent lives taken for power. He would have his revenge one way or another. He was usually a nice good agori. But he wanted to brutally destroy all of the skrall. After traveling for about an hour Ranak and Tarna came across a small hill. At the bottom there was a small camp of skrall with a few vehicles."do we risk it?" Asked Tarna"I think we can handle it. Only a few skrall" Said Ranak"then lets go get em!" said Tarna"No! We attack at night. They will be less prepaired." Said RanakHe took out his blade and looked at it."Tonight we make them pay!"Tahu was in the middle of two giant hills. His mission seemed like a waste of time to him since he had missed out on the main defense against the skrall and Makuta. All he did on his mission was fight some "Heroes" that were trying to conquer Spherus Magna for their own race. No big problem for Tahu. But he had no idea how fast the skrall had spread. He thought that the war was still just starting. He didn't know that it was already over. He was excited to see his friends. It had been a while since he had spoken to them. About five weeks it seemed. He couldn't wait to get back into the action. But as well as not knowing about the war ending, he had no idea what happened to his friends. Tahu continued his journey through the hills. At one point he came across a few skrall and Rahkshi but they where dealt with quickly. And at another time he was on a hill so high that he could see Atero. He was within a days walk. "Soon i will be reunited with my friends. We are much more powerful together." he thought to himself as he walked down the last hill. He reached the bottom of the hill onto a large, grassy plane. Far in the distance he could see Atero. Only there was something different about it. There was a black flag with a red symbol he couldn't quite make out. This he knew was not the symbol for the army they had made for Mata-nui. That symbol was the mask of life with two blades crossing behind it. And of course there was the three virtues symbol. But this new symbol was new to Tahu. As Tahu got closer, he could make out more of it. A red circle with lines in it."That looks a little bit like the shield of a... Oh no." he said to himself. He began to run as fast as he could towards the city. He hoped that what he thought was not true. But the closer he got the more it confirmed that dark and scary thought. The skrall had invaded Atero and taken control. Tahu ran until he was at the wall surrounding the city. He fell to his knees."No no no no no!" he yelled. He got up and ran to the gate. He was filled with rage. He broke open the gate and looked around. He knew he would have to keep a low profile in order to get to Raanu. He walked passed the villagers and skrall guards. He was glad there were no rahkshi around or they would surely be alerted. The skrall didn't notice him. He walked through the city to the center where it rose on a great hill. He climbed the stairs to the building where he knew Raanu was. He opened the door and sure enough he was right. "Tahu! Good to see you!" said Raanu.The six turaga where there as well."What is going on here?" Tahu said furiosly."Shhhh we cant let them know your here" said Nokama. "The skrall came to attack. Instead your friends surrendered to avoid innocent deaths. They took them." "Well where are they!" said Tahu."In Teridax's new city." said Vakama"What city?" said Tahu"Taridax made a city. Filled with great beasts and terrible danger. It is always dark there.""Then thats where I'm going!" said Tahu"No! You cant. You'll be torn to pieces as soon as you open the gate. Your the last toa we have. Everyone was captured except for Mata-nui who is on his way to the city to make a final stand. If he even makes it that far. And Takanuva ran off in the middle of the night. We have no idea where he went." said Nokama.At that moment two agori entered the room."Tarna! Ranak! Your okay!" said Raanu. "We came here to see if you guys were still holding out. Looks like we where too late" said Ranak."We got lucky. They took the toa and didn't kill anyone." said Raanu."Is there any way on to those airships?" said Tarna"Im sorry we launched those about two weeks ago." said Vakama."Well we need some way of fighting back. We need some way of staying alive. Were not gunna just live under the rule of Teridax." said Ranak."Mybie we could meet the ones in the airships! Where did they land?" asked Tarna."On the other side of the planet. As far away from the army of Teridax as possible. It would be impossible for you to get there." said Vakama."Not impossible. It would just take a long time. And i think a long time is worth it. We need help. We cant free our friends alone." said Tahu."That is true. But cant risk you going all the way to those ships." said Vakama"Then I'm going to find Teridax and kill him once and for all." said Tahu. "We've been over this! You wont stand a chance!" said Raanu."He's right." said Vakama. "Teridax is our enemy and he needs to be defeated. But we cant just do it right now. We need time Tahu. We need an army." said Vakama"Then what can i do? I wont just stand here while my friends are tortured in a cell. I need to somehow speed up the process." said Tahu.Vakama turned away. He put his hand to his chin, showing that he was thinking."There is something Tahu." said Vakama"What? I must know! Whatever it is ill do it." said Tahu"It is very dangerous. But i think you can do it. I need you to take these two agori with you. They may not be toa but they are good fighters. And you know that even the smallest of beings can make a huge difference." said Vakama.Tahu looked at the two agori. The agori looked confused. They stared at Tahu wondering what was going to happen. Then Tahu nodded."They will do" he said."Excellent! But we must hurry. If the skrall see you they will kill you on sight. Here take this cloak." Vakama said as he handed a long brown cloak to Tahu. "You sure this is a good idea?" Tahu asked."Aha Tahu. You have no idea how much i think its a bad idea. But its all we have. Now listen. You are to get as far away from here as possible. Try and get as many agori and matoran as possible. Your going to need an army. Its our only hope. We need the skrall to fear you." said Vakama"Okay. If its the only way." said Tahu."Come on." he said to the agori. "its time to leave."Mata-nui had walked for days. He could see the darkened sky above Teridax's city."Somewhere in there is my long lost brother. And my greatest enemy." he said.Mata-nui looked at click. The little beetle was on its normal resting place upon Mata-nui's shoulder."almost there old friend." he saidThe beetle chirped back at him. In front of him there was a large boulder about 5 feet high. Mata-nui climbed on top to get a better view of the dark city. There was a giant tower right in the center of the city. He had no doubt that was where Teridax was. There was a wall surrounding the city. On that wall was a gate guarded by hundreds or rahkshi. The circular dark cloud over the city appeared to be coming from the top of the tower. He wondered why it was so dark. And he shuddered at the terrible creatures that where probably inside of the city. Terrible creatures that could rip you limb from limb in seconds. He looked back down at click."Don't worry friend. I will protect you." he said and smiled at the blue bettle."Well well well look what we have here boys!"Mata-nui turned around startled by the strangely familiar and sinister voice. It was Tuma and he had about a dozen skrall with him."No" Mata-nui said under his breath."A great leader on a suicide mission to make a pathetic attempt to fight his way through the endless army to Teridax." said Tuma."I have defeated you once before and i will do it again." said Mata-nui."Oh we will see about that. Bring him to me alive!" said Tuma. The skrall advanced to Mata-nui. Click jumped to Mata-nui,s hand and turned into the shield. In the other hand he had his thornax launcher. The first skrall came at him and tried to strike him on the head with his sword. Mata-nui deflected him and shot a thornax right into its chest. The skrall flew back and hit the skrall behind it. They where unconscious. Tuma looked outraged and jumped in with the skrall."You will not escape us this time!" he screamed.All the skrall and Tuma ran at Mata-nui at the same time. He was able to fight off the first one but as he was fighting it, a second skrall snuck behind him and stabbed him in the back."Argaaaa!" Mata-nui yelled. He turned to face the skrall. It swung at him but Mata-nui was able to block it for a little while. But Tuma ran right into him and knocked him to the ground. Mata-nui turned Click back into his original form."Go" he said "Run. Find someone! Just get out of here." with that click ran off.Mata-nui was wounded badly. He watched his little friend crawl away, wondering if he would ever see him again. He got up and took the sword off of his back."After all that you still try and fight. HA! Finish him now." Tuma said.The skrall came towards Mata-nui and forced him to the ground. They tied his arms behind his back and took his weapons."Teridax will love what i have found him." Tuma said.Tahu rode on a small vehicle that looked like a motorcycle. There were two extra small carts on the right and the left of the bike. That was where Tarna and Ranak sat. They had been traveling for only ten minutes and already Ranak was homesick. He wished that he could stay in his city with his friends. Instead he was with a soldier he had only known for about a week, and a toa of fire who he had heard of but only met twenty minutes ago. But to him, Tahu seemed like a good person to be with in this situation. From what he had heard, Tahu was a great fighter and could hold off dozens of skrall and rahkshi. And he seemed reasonably nice. Or at least he wasn't angry at him and Tarna. He thought they could become friends. And he thought that Tahu wanted to be friends with him as well. He looked up at Tahu. The cloak that Vakama had given to him was flying in the wind against body. There was a look of determination and anger on his face. The bike was traveling fast and as a result, was also very loud. He looked over at Tarna who was looking out to the wide open space. They had left the grassy area and where now traveling on a dry, desert like environment. Only it was flat and the ground was made of brown dirt. Not sand. Tahu began to slow the bike down until it came to a complete stop. "What is it?" Tarna asked.Tahu looked out to the dry land."theres something up there." said Tahu "And its coming towards us."Ranak looked out and could see a little black spot rising above the dirty ground."Lets get closer" said Tahu.He started the bike up again and it started moving again. The little black spot got closer as they moved. Ranak once again looked up at Tahu who was focused on the spot. Suddenly his eyes widened."Prepare yourselves!" he yelled.Ranak could now see what he was talking about. There where now three spots and they could see what they where. Skrall on top of similar vehicles as they where riding in. Tahu went full speed to the skrall. The skrall sped up as well. Tahu's eyes narrowed qnd focused on the skrall. They were only about fifty feet away from each other and getting closer. Suddenly, once they where close enough, Tahu jumped off of the bike and did a flip over the skrall on the bikes. The skrall made sharp turns toward Tahu. He prepared himself and readied his blade. It began to sprout small flames. Tahu ran to the first bike and made a quick slice at it. The bike was burned right in half. The skrall went flying through the air and landed on the ground far behind Tahu. Ranak and Tarna watched in suspense as the next skrall aproached."Graaaaaaaaa!" Tahu yelled out.He hit the next one with a more powerful and swifter strike. The skrall and the upper part of the bike went flying. The skrall hit the ground first followed by the half of the bike, which landed right on top of him.Tahu readied himself for the final skrall. This time he had a different plan. He ran to the skrall and jumped right as the bike was about to hit him. He landed on the bike and knocked the skrall off of it. Tahu then turned to the skrall that was on the bike who was now standing up. He went full speed toward the skrall. It charged at him with its blade extended. Tahu's face was full with rage. Small flames erupted from his eyes. Then in a split second he jumped off the bike right before it rammed right into the last skrall and exploded. Tahu breathed heavily. He looked at the three skrall, all sprawled out on the ground. He was pretty sure the last two where dead and the first was unconscious. He turned to Ranak and Tarna, who were amazed at the toa's skill and speed."That was amazing!" said Tarna.Ranak just stayed quiet. He did agree with Tarna that what Tahu had did was the most amazing thing he had ever seen."all in a days work." said Tahu. "and I've got a feeling that my work isn't over for the day." He walked back to the bike and started it up once again. The three where off on there own. They did not know where they where to go. But they trusted that they would find some place safe. They trusted that they could build an army and free their friends. They trusted that they could defeat Makuta and restore peace once and for all. They relied on the little bit of hips they had left. And they relied on each other.Agnus ran through the forrest. He was chasing his greatest enemy. Marendar. The giant metal monster was literally tearing down the forest. Or he was tearing down what wasn't already on fire. He had lost sight of the beast but he was searching desperately to find it. He looked around at the burning trees. Marendar was nowhere to be found. "No! I will destroy you this time!" Agnus yelled out.He heard a loud boom behind him. Agnus turned around to see a large explosion. He ran as fast as his legs could carry him. At this point, he could see the mechanical beast. It turned to him and growled. Agnus didn't waste any time. He raised his spear and charged at the beast. He hit Marendar right between its two bottom arms."Graaaaaaaa!" the beast yelled. It retreated a few steps. Agnus split his spear into two blades. He ran at Marendar and jumped up, trying to make a blow to its head. Marendar swung his blade at Agnus and hit him right across his chest. He went flying."No... You will never get away from me!" he said.Agnus put his spear back together and used it to help him walk. He limped his way to the monster. Marendar prepared to charge at Agnus."Come on!" yelled Agnus.Marendar Screeched. The beast ran as fast as he could at Agnus. He steadied his spear and braced for the attack. Agnus breathed heavily. The beast approached. Agnus gripped his spear and raised it to the monster. It went right into Marendar's belly."Argaaaaaaaaaa!" it screamed.Agnus walked back and ran up to the monster. He swiped his spear across its face. The beast fell backward "Yes!" he saidHe walked up slowly to the beast to make the final blow. He went to its head and looked into its eyes. The beast was still. Agnus raised his spear above his head. Suddenly the beast screamed. It knocked Agnus back. He looked at the beast and rays of energy started to come down from the sky. Marendar was gone."Would you look at this." said Tahu.He was looking down to a canyon. It was about two hundred feet wide and five hundred feet deep. It looked about a mile or two long. There was a slope leading down to the middle."Lets go check it out." said Tahu.Him and the agori had traveled for a week straight. Now it looked like they had finally found a safe place to stay."This is perfect." said Ranak. "We could fit an army in here!""Exactly." said Tahu. "But for now we will rest. Ill bring the bike down."Tahu went back up to the bike, leaving the two agori at the bottom of the canyon."This is great isn't it" said Ranak."Yes. I just don't know how we could get an army here." said Tarna."Tahu will think of that. It will take a while, but we can get soldiers slowly." said Ranak.By now Tahu was bringing the bike down. Once he had got to the bottom, he unpacked the gear and gave it to the agori."You two set up. Im going to make sure that this area is secure." said Tahu."Alright." said Ranak as he took a tent from Tahu."Tomorrow we will begin our army. We will find agori and weapons tomorrow. Once you are done setting up you should go hunting. We can make weapons from the skeletons of the animals. Plus we need the food." said Tahu. He then turned and walked out of the canyon. Ranak turned to Tarna."Come on. Lets finish this up so we can go hunting."Tahu was in the woods surrounding the canyon. He looked around for anything living. Anything that could cause harm. "So far so good." said Tahu to himself.He looked around once again for skrall or rahkshi. This time he did see something. There was some movement behind some trees. Tahu took out his sword."Show yourself!" said Tahu.The movement stopped. Tahu prepared for the worst. Which as it turns out, was the right move. A huge beast that Tahu had never seen before jumped out from behind some bushes. The metal exo-skeleton was black and purple. It had four arms and legs and its fingers and toes where like blades. It had a long tail with a sharp stinger on its end. It was about twice the size of Tahu. But he had handled worse."Give me all you got!" he said.He charged at the monster with his flaming blade. But as he was about to strike the beast, it fell backward with a scream. Tahu was confused. He hadn't even touched the beast and it had fallen over defeated. "Brother! Its been such a long time!" said a familiar voice. "Thank the great beings your alive!" Tahu saidTakanuva came from behind the beast."I thought i would never see you again!" said Tahu"Why did you run away?" "Well your involved." said Takanuva. "I heard the voice of Agnus. And that voice told me to leave. It told me to find you. It may have been just a dream but it felt like the right thing to do. Besides i wasn't gunna get stuck with those filthy skrall!""Good plan. Haha." said Tahu. "Now i have another question. What is this thing."He pointed to the monster."Thats one of Makuta's newest creations. And its not dead. Only paralyzed." said Takanuva."Why is it out here?" said Tahu."Its a scout. This is the only one I've seen around here so we should be safe." said Takanuva. "oh. I have one more thing to show you! Follow me." Tahu followed Tahu to a small cave. Takanuva led him far into the back of the cave."I think this will help you." said Takanuva.There where about two dozen agori and matoran in the cave."So this is how the next big war starts." said Tahu"Everybody move!" yelled Tahu.He got into the front of a big vehicle. Why? Because the back was filled with weapons. It had been about ten days since they had found Takanuva and the other agori and matoran. Since then they had recruited a little more than forty agori to their small army. And today was the first attack on the army of Makuta. They had attacked a small armory that the skrall controlled. They had been low on weapons for a while so they needed something.Tahu began to move the vehicle. It was slow and big but it would pay off in the end. About thirty feet away he could see Takanuva and the agori firing on skrall reinforcements. They had already taken down the skrall in the armory. But reinforcements where already on their way. Some agori had thornax launchers like Ranak and Tarna. But most of them had bows and arrows made from the metal exo skeleton of animals they had hunted. Each agori was also armed with blades that they already had or had been forged like the bows and arrows by Tahu.Takanuva called the commands. The agori where to fire into the air and the arrows and thornax would come crashing down on the skrall. The arrows where sharp enough to pierce the armor of the skrall. They had already tested that."Ready!" yelled Takanuva as the agori raised their bows.Takanuve extended one of his blades above his head then brought it down swiftly"Fire!" he yelled as the agori let the arrows and thornax go flying through the air. Tahu was surprised at the amount of skrall affected by the arrows. Most of the work was done by exploding thornax's but they had taken out at least fifty skrall. But that didn't stop all of them. The surviving skrall began to fire on the agori and on Tahu. He began to go as fast as he could. The armory was on a small hill which was why the agori had a good advantage. They could attack the skrall from above. Tahu began to drive the vehicle down the hill. Unaware that another small group of agori was on its way to attack the same armory. Gelu had recently been captured by the skrall. But he wouldn't let that stop him. The skrall didn't even get him to the prison before he shoved his shoulder blades into them and released the agori that had been captured along with him. There where only twenty, but he knew they could take this armory. Him and his small group ran to the hill only to find that the armory was already under attack."This just makes it easier! Come on! Lets take this place!" he said raising his blade above his head. He and the agori charged at the hill, killing any skrall that got in their way. Gelu saw the vehicle filled with weapons was moving."You guys keep up the attack! Im taking those weapons." he saidGelu ran to the big vehicle and grabbed ahold of the side of it. He climbed sideways to the front where the driver sat. "These are my weapons!" he yelled.Gelu took the ice slicer off of his back and prepared to jump into the front seat. He looked over into the front and was surprised to see a Toa of fire driving instead of a skrall. And this was no ordinary toa of fire. It was Tahu!"What are you doing here?" Gelu asked.Tahu turned his head to see Gelu."I should ask the same of you!" said Tahu. To Gelu it was obvious that Tahu was also trying to take the weapons with him. He thought of his options.Either kill Tahu and run with the weapons or help him and merge with his group to become even stronger. To him this was easy."Need any help?" Gelu yelled over the loud sound of explosions and the vehicle moving.He was still holding on to the side and talking to Tahu."Why not!" Tahu replied.With that, Gelu began to shoot ice and thornax at the skrall. He had icicles that could pierce the skrall armor so that is what he used. He shot them out of the spikes on the slicer, hitting the skrall each time. Most of them fell dead and the rest where injured so bad that they couldn't even stand. Tahu drove over to Takanuva."Lets go!" he yelledTakanuva nodded and ordered the agori to retreat. They had got what they had come for. Then Gelu's group appeared running over the hill. They all began to run behind the weapon carrier when Tahu pointed something out."Look" he yelledHe was pointing to about fifty hidden double seated bikes. The agori and Takanuva got the idea and ran for them. Each one got on a bike and those who didn't got on the back of one with another agori. "Well thats what i call a battle" said Gelu. "Yes. And thank the great beings you showed up when you did. How did the skrall miss you?" asked Tahu"It was a close one. I thought for sure that i would be captured. I just went from one village to another gathering agori who still wanted to fight. I also attacked a few skrall prisoner transports and freed the prisoners." said Gelu"That must be difficult. We just stay in this canyon. We go out and find agori and matoran as well. We try and build up an army to go against the forces of Teridax. But it is difficult." said Takanuva."well you know that Teridax himself is very weak. He can barely stand up by himself. He just sits in his dark tower all day giving orders. But he is regaining strength. He can see through the eyes of the rahkshi. Take control of one of their body's. He likes to see the battle. But that is the only way he can move. By possessing the body of one of his servants." said Gelu"If only we had an army now! We could strike while he is weak and destroy him and his army!" said Tahu."If only. He will be strong by the time we have an army large enough to take them on." said Gelu. "What can we do? The skrall will be hunting us down! Word has spread of this resistance. Teridax will want us destroyed as soon as possible.""Then we stay and hide. We spread word secretly to other villages and cities. We will continue to get stronger. And we will not stop until every skrall trembles when they hear of us." said Tahu. Gelu and Takanuva where silent. "Well then" said Takanuva. "What do we call ourselves?" Tahu hadn't had time to think of names. How could he? "We will call ourselves... The army of Mata-nui." said Tahu. It wasn't the best name but it wold work. "So then where do we begin?" asked Ranak.Mata-nui was weak when they arrived at the makuta controlled arena. He had built it as a prison for his prisoners to fight each other. It would be entertaining for the skrall and rahkshi. He put Metus in charge of the arena. He would match up the fights. He would decide who would live... And who would dieMata-nui could barely walk. Tuma had treated him harshly since he found him. Mata-nui was forced to carry supplies for the skrall. And if he didn't travel fast enough he would be beaten by the skrall. And Tuma would laugh. That terrible laugh, Mata-nui thought to himself. It was so terrifying, that whenever he even heard Tuma breath, he jumped. He wanted to die. Anything to get him away from Tuma. For most of the long, and terrible journey, he had no idea where he was. Tuma had told him that he would gain honor from Teridax, and no longer be considered exiled. But Tuma never mentioned where they would be going too. Now Mata-nui had his answer. He looked up at the fort outside of the arena. There where dozens of rahkshi all aiming at Tuma and the skrall."I have an offering! A gift if you will!" Tuma yelled at the fort. The front gate dropped and the small, white agori emerged."Well look at this! The so called great spirit at the mercy of the one and only Metus! This is a dream come true!" he looked at Tuma"What do you want for this fine fellow?" he asked"I want my honor restored!" Tuma said."And it shall be. You can be in-charge of equipment. It is a very important job." Metus said "I will not be controlled by a puny agori! I could crush you where you stand!" Tuma said. "I want YOUR position!" Metus looked back and winked at one of the skrall. It meant prepare to fire. The rahkshi aimed right at Tuma's head. "As you can see, i have you outnumbered. So hand over Mata-nui and I will let you leave with your life and Maybe your dignity." said Metus."Give me my honor or he dies!" Tuma put his blade to Mata-nui's neck. Metus looked back one more time and waved. One of the Rahkshi fired from its staff and stuck Tuma. The former skrall leader was unconscious on the ground. Metus signaled for two skrall to come out to the field."Pick these two up and put them in cells. Tell me immediately when they wake up. Teridax will be very happy with us. We finally have his only weakness."

Ive been thinking about this a lot lately. If someone were to make a Bionicle live action movie, how would you want it done? I think it would be dark. Something that would appeal older audiences. I would make a movie for every chapter of the story. Would be something like 11.What are your thoughts?

Tahu awoke to the sound of Berix's voice. "Tahu! Tahu! Wake up!" he looked up at the blue agori. "Whaaat?" he said in a tired annoued voice. He had been bored and exhausted for a long time. Even after makuta teridaxes death there were still problems. The toa mahri and the toa on his team all came back fine. All there was to do now was build. No more adventures it seemed. "The turaga want to see you." Berix said. That was new to Tahu. Maybie today wouldnt be as boring as the past couple of weeks. "Alright Alright." Tahu said. He got out of his bunk and stood up in his hut. "This better be good." he said. He grabbed his sword and put it on his back. Then He and Berix opened the door to the hut and walked out to the sun shining down on the green grass. "Were are they?" asked Tahu. "This way" Berix replied. Tahu followed Berix toward A building atthe center of the newly built village. "Go ahead in. They said im suppost to stay out here. Top seceret stuff and apperently im not good enough for it. "Top secret?." Tahu said to himself. "Things may get interesting around here for once." He walked in and was supprised to see all of the toa from his team plus the toa mahri, Takanuva, and the glatorian that chose to help rebuild the world of spherus magna. "Whats this about?" asked Tahu. "Make sure the door is closed tight" Said Vakama. "We cant have anyone else hearing this." Now Tahu was even more interested. Something top seceret that only he and the other toa and glatorian could know. "Tahu has a point." Hahli chimed in. "What is this about?" "it is very important" said Vakama. "But if the others know it will no doubt start a panic." "Well then it sounds like we're gunna get to fight something. Count me in." Said Jaller. "Indeed you will." Said Whenua. "Nokama why dont you tell them?" Said Vakama. "Alright then. After the battle between Teridax and Mata-Nui we thought we would never have to deal with the skrall again. We were wrong." Said Nokama. "An army of skrall has gathered at a forgotten stronghold and more arrive every day." said Nokama. "We belive that they are being led by Stronus and that they are massing for an attack." said whenua. "Your mission is to find them and destroy the stronghold and defeat the army. Do whatever you must but they can not leave that stronghold." Said Vakama. Tahu was excited even more. Finally he could leave this place and fight something. "Tahu you will lead this mission." Said Matau. "Do you accept to lead this mission?" "Are you kidding? Of course I do." Said Tahu. "Very well then." Said Vakama. "You have Two days to prepair and gather supplies. And take some agori and matoran with you. Your going to be fighting one of the biggest battles of your life.Tahu shot flames out of his sword at a small target. "Ooh so close brother." Said Kopaka jokingly. He aimed his small blade at the end of his midak sky blaster and shot an icicle that hit the target right in its center. "Haha you forget brother!" Tahu shot flames at the icicle instantly melting it. "Fire beats ice." "Yeah and water beats fire" said Gali as she lifted the water up and splashed Tahu in the face, instantly evaporating as it hit him. "Haha it sure is good to have the team back and fighting. I was starting to miss the makuta." said Tahu. "Well I don't know about that." said Onua as he came from behind his friends. Pohatu Followed behind him. "Watch out below!" yelled Lewa to the toa. He landed right in the center of were the rest of his friends were gathered. " Lewa have you finished gathering weapons?" asked Tahu. "Yes we have enough weapons to take down every skrall on the planet twice." said Lewa. "Good and what about you Onua? Have you and Pohatu gathered some agori and matoran?" Asked Tahu. "Yep ten matoran and ten agori just like you asked. They are all armed with blades and thornax launchers." said Pohotu. "Excellent! Gali go and get the mahri and the glatorian for our final preperations. We leave tonight at dark. The next few hours went by slow. Tahu was nervous even though he wanted this more than anything. The toa, glatorian, agori, and matoran talked and even dueled a little for training and to pass the time. Tahu spent his time talking to some of his closest friends Ackar Jaller Takanuva and Kopaka. Takanuva was the 2nd in command for the mission which meant if something happened to Tahu, even death Takanuva would be forced to finish the mission. There destination was over 10000 miles away. It would take them weeks to get there plus any obstacles they ran into on the way. And there would be obstacles. "Whats our plan once we get there?" Takanuva said. "Well once we get there we have to fight the skrall until they retreat. It will be no easy task but we have something they don't. Elemental powers." said Tahu "It should be a lot easier to just shoot flames at them when they are trying to hit us with swords." Tahu got up. "Im going to check out our weapons and other supplies. Ill be back soon." Said Tahu. "Alright we'll see you in about a half an hour. It will be dark then." Tahu couldn't believe it was almost time to go. He started to feel sick. He was anxious but something in his gut told him that this mission would not be easy. He knew that something would go wrong. He could just feel it. A half hour had passed. "Is everyone ready?" Tahu asked. All of the toa and glatorian nodded followed by the agori and matoran. "good" Tahu said placing his sword on his back. "Then lets move out. We will walk for about an hour and then we will make camp for the night. It was late at night. Tahu and the group had walked longer than they had expected."Right here is good." said Tahu as he and the rest of the group looked around. Onua and Nuparu constructed a dome out of the ground for the group to sleep in and be protected from any threat. Tahu started a fire in the center of the dome as the rest of the group set up to sleep. Everyone was tired including Tahu. But Tahu couldn't sleep. "Trouble sleeping brother?" Takanuva said emerging from the shadows."I guess you could say that." Said Tahu sitting in front of the fire.""You okay Tahu? Something wrong?""I don't know I just have a strange feeling. Guess Im a little stressed out.""Well you get some sleep Tahu. We have a long day tomorrow.""You too brother see you in the morning. Tahu didn't get much sleep but he wasn't too tired. He had a long day ahead of him. Onua took down the dome and everyone walked out. Tahu lead the group on. He had a strange feeling that there was a fire near by but he dismissed it as nothing but being nervous. Until Jaller said something that sent chills down Tahu's spine."Anybody else smell smoke?" Said Jaller."Yeah now that you mention it i do." said Gresh.The rest of the group agreed."Everybody stay here, Takanuva and I will check it out." said Tahu.He ran as fast as he could with Takanuva not far behind. Then he saw it. A little bit of smoke on the air."I see it. Its right over that hill!" said Tahu."Alright slow down." Takanuva said gasping for air."Go get the others Im going over the hill to see what happened." Takanuva turned around and ran back toward the group. Tahu kept moving to were the smoke was rising. Once he got to the top of the hill he looked down and saw it. An entire village burned to the ground. He walked down to the burned village. What he saw made him sick. Bodies of dead matoran and agori."Who could have done this?" he said to himself.It wasnt long after he found the answer. A skakadi warrior lie dead on the ground with a spear through its chest. He knelt in front of the body. "Are you sure we got everything?" a voice said.Tahu got up and hid in one of the huts. He looked out a window and saw two skrall talking to each other"This was a great idea. Let the skakadi come and kill all the villagers and then we come in and take whatever we can find" one of the skrall saidTahu saw them walk past the hut and out of sight. He walked slowly and quietly toward the door of the hut he looked outside and saw about a dozen more skrall. He quickly closed the door and went back into the hut. He sat on the floor so no one would see him. He looked out and saw even more skrall. Then he realized that he had just walked into a pack of about 50 Skrall! And Tahu had walked right into it. Then it got worse. Tahu remembered that Takanuva went back to get the rest of the group to come and see the village! The skrall would find them and most likely kill them!Tahu had a decision to make. He could either run and take his chances against the skrall. The biggest problem with that was that he had no idea how many there were out in the destroyed village. Or he could wait it out and hope that his friends wouldn't come to the village. No that is a hopeless idea. He thought. "I need to make a run for it or my friends will suffer."Said Tahu to himself. He decided he would wait for the skrall to leave his area. Then he would sneak out. Tahu went to the closed door. He looked out the window right by it. Most of the skrall were looking away except for one. It was walking right by the door. In the few seconds he had he made a decision. He opened the door and grabbed the skrall putting his other hand over the skrall's mouth. He dragged it into the the hut and hit the skrall on the head with the hilt of his sword, knocking it out. He left it on the floor. He went to the back of the hut and put his sword through the wall. He cut a hole big enough to get himself through. On the other side there was one skrall. He shot flames at it pushing it against another hut. The other skrall heard it and came around the building. Tahu ran as fast as he could. The skrall saw him and ran for him. They shot thornax at him. Some of them would have hit him if he hadn't burned them up. "Get him! Hurry!" one of the skrall said. He stopped and stabbed his sword into the grounf making a wall of fire separating him from the skrall. He kept running but more skrall came running. There was easily more than 30 skrall chasing him. Tahu reached a dead end. He turned around and prepared to make his final stand. He raised his sword and was about to fire flames at all of the skrall. "Come and get some!" he yelled raising his sword high above his head. Suddenly all of the skrall froze. Each one was coated in a thick layer of ice. "What the.." Then he saw Kopaka and Gelu."Hey brother thought you could use some help." Kopaka said from the sky flying above Tahu. Then he saw the rest of the group coming towards him. "Lets go take back this village!"Said Vastus."Alright listen up! Ackar lead the glatorian to the east side of the village! Jaller take your team and the matoran to the west side! Me and my team will take the middle with the agori. We clear out every skrall in the village and we meet at the other end. Move out! Jaller and his team left first. Jaller in the front. Hahli and Kongu in the middle and Hewki and Nuparu at the end. Jaller heard a crackling sound. "Shhh" said Jaller lifting his arm up to signal his team to stop. Jaller turned the corner with his cordak blaster extended. "Help jaller!" he heard the familiar voice of Hahli. He rand back and a skrall jumped in front of him. Before he knew it, a skrall put a sword to his throught. Ackar and his team kept moving. He heard the scream of Hahli's scream. He was thinking to go and fight them off but knew he had to clear the village. "Strakk! Gresh! Kiina! Come with me. Gelu and Vastus stay here. Ackar moved and cleared out buildings with the rest of his team. He then heard the same screams he heard before followed by the sound of explosions. Probably the mahri's cordak blasters. It sounded like they had a hard time and Hahli was probably hurt. Badly. Then he heard The yell of Vastus's voice. "Ackar we are under ata.." he was cut off. "Lets go beat those skrall off of this planet! We should kill them all!" said Strakk. "I agree we have to go help them. The glatorian turned around and ran towards their other friends.The toa Nuva were being chased all around the village. Even worse they were separated. Each toa was out on their own being chased down by huge groups of skrall. Tahu thought to himself, "could this be the end of his mission? Getting chased down and killed by the skrall?The entire group had been captured and Hahli was critically hurt. "If she doesn't get help soon she may die.""Shut up! She wont die. Hahli we are gong to get you help." said Jaller as he squeezed her hand. She looked up at him. She clild barely speak. There was a gash right by her stomach and she couldn't move. Shoe would probably pass out soon. The wntire group was in one big prison cell. The toa Nuva except for kopaka, who was helping Hahli, gathered at the corner of the cell." Anybody got any ideas? It would be really helpful right now." said Tahu."I got Nothin." said Onua"Tahu i think that we need to calm down Japler right now." said Gali "He really cares for Hahli and if she dies..." "It wont come to that! Were getting out of here."Before tahu could even walk away the cieling of the prison was ripped open and a broght loght shone through. A second later the whole group was passed out on the floor. The group awoke to a pleasant surprise. All of the skrall were dead. And the cell imprisoning the toa was wide open."lets go get Hahli out of here" ordered TahuThe toa mahri carried an unconscious Hahli out of the building following Tahu to a small river. Kopaka made an ice bridge and the group walked to the other side of the river. It was dark out and tahu started a fire. Onua made another dome over the group. By the time everyone set up most of them went to sleep except for Jaller, who sat by Hahli and Tahu who sat and stared into the fire."Jaller... I know what your going through. I know how important Hahli is to you. And i want you to know we are going to do everything we can to make sure she survives." said Tahu. He put a hand on Jallers shoulder. "Jaller you should get some sleep. You must be really tired already and we.." he was interrupted by Jaller." No you get some sleep. I need to be here. She would do the same for me." said Jaller.Tahu sighed."Alright Jaller." He slowly walked to the edge of the dome and put a blanket on. Tahu slowly went to sleep. The next morning Tahu awoke to Jaller asleep by the extinguished fire. He got up and walked over to check on Hahli. He was worried she was dead but to his supprise her wound had completely healed."Jaller wake up!" he said as he shook Jaller."What?" said Jaller"Look!"He pointed at Hahli. Jaller slowly walked over to her. As he got there Hahli opened her eyes."Jaller?" she said.Jaller looked at her. Speechless. He couldn't even think of what to say. He grabbed her and hugged her. Tahu smiled. Then he started wondering how Hahli healed so fast. Everyone awoke to the soght of Jaller, Hahli, and Tahu. Tahu got up. "Onua! Make a door somebody is outside of the dome!" Ordered Tahu. He grabbed his flame sword and walked outside followed by Takanuva. On the outside he saw a grey figure about the same side as a toa. The being had grey armor and a circular mask with curves on the edges. He carried a spear and thornax launcher and had blades on his shoulder and his armor was thick and made him look big. There were blades on his upper and lower arms plus on his knees and on the bottoms of his feel that would undoubtedly stab you if he kicked you. Tahu raised his sword at the being. "Stand up and let me see your hands." said Tahu"Its about time you woke up. And is that any way to talk to the one who broke you out of prison and saved your friends life?" Who are you?" asked Tahu with his blade pointed at the stranger."Don't be afraid. Call me Agnus. I promise you I am a friend.""you killed all those skrall?" asked Tahu"yes. Didn't take long. I cleared out that entire village.""Toa don't kill." Tahu said still pointing his blade."Did i say i was a Toa?" said the stranger.Tahu lowered his blade."Then what are you?" he asked"A warrior on a hunt for the most dangerous monster in the universe. Marendar.""What is it?" asked Tahu"A machine almost made of weapons. And it was programed to kill toa. It could wipe the planet of life and right now its let loose on the world.""And your going to kill it?" "thats right."Tahu lowered his sword."I need to leave now" Agnus grabbed his spear and his pack."oh one thing. See that smoke up there?" he pointed over a hill and Tahu could see a little bit of rising smoke."Thats a tribe of skakadi. And a big one at that. Try to stay clear of it. If they find you they will kill you."Tahu looked back at the group."alright lets move""Im here! Im here!" said Berix out of breath. "Berix thank the great beings! Get to the mask of life now!" said Vakama. The village was under siege by the skrall and it seemed they wanted the mask of life. Once Berix got down to the mask he took out his blade. Suddenly the mask started to glow. Berix heard a familiar voice in his head. He got on his knees. He had a severe pain i bis head. If felt like someone was pushing a knife into his head slowly."Warn the others. Something is coming. And we wont be able to stop it on our own." said the voice.Berix remembered now. It was the voice of Mata-nui. The mask rose from its spot and blasted through the roof and out into the sky. It was gone.It was late at night. Tahu and the group were traveling all night. They couldn't rest until they knew they were clear of the skakadi."keep your eyes open and your mouth shut!" Tahu yelled back. Ackar came up to Tahu."Tahu we need to stop soon." said Ackar."I agree" said Takanuva. "Hahli is still weak.""You want to sleep here? Fine. But im gunna keep going with all the people who don't want to get killeb by a tribe of vicious skakadi!" Tahu snapped.Takanuva and Ackar stayed back and starred at Tahu. They were worried. They thought Tahu was going insane. Takanuva and Ackar took the back of the group."You hear that?" asked Ackar."What?" said Takanuva. Suddenly the entire group was stuck in nets hanging from trees."What Just happened?" yelled Nuparu.He quickly got his answer. About a dozen blue skakadi that looked just like Nektan came to the bottem of the nets. They untied the nets from the trees. About another thirty skakadi emerged from the shadows. They cut the group loose."Move it!" said one of the skakadi.They surrounded them and forced them to move. After walking for about twenty minutes they ended up at a village inhabited by skakadi. They were sharpening horrifying weapons. They made the group neal at a step. Tahu heard a familiar voice."well, well, well, look at this. The toa who injured me so terrible bowing down to I. The great Nektan. Ruler of the skakadi.""get down here you snake! Ill kill you!" Tahu yelled and got up only to be pushed down by two skakadi. Nektan revealed himself from behind the shadows. There were deep scars in his armor from Tahu melting his armour. The tribe had put him back together."put them in the dungeon! Kill them slowly and painfully. The group was chained to a wall. They saw that the matoran and agori were separated from them on opposite sides of the room. Two skakadi came down the stairs. Each one took out a blade and went to one side of the matoran and agori. They started to kill them! They slit the throats of the matoran and agori."No! Come here! Come fight me!" Tahu yelled. After only a second all of the matoran and agroi were dead. The skakadi came over to the glatorian and toa. "Arrrrraaaaaa!" Tahu yelled and melted the chains and even the metal walls of the room. He shot flames from his hands at the skakadi. Tahu looked at his team. He was out of breath and breathing heavily. He looked at his team. "Lets go." they grabbed their weapons and ran. Tahu took one last look at the dead bodies. He ran up the stairs. They fought through the skakadi. There were easily a thousand or more in the village. They shot their weapons and sliced with their blades. Tahu stabbed and shot flames while Takanuva used his staff's and hit as many skakadi. "Lets destroy this place! Burn it to the ground!" yelled Tahu raising his hand. They used fire and stone to destroy buildings. Kongu, Gresh, Vastus, and Lewa blew over buildings. The toa of ice froze the warriors. The toa of water flooded entire areas under water. The toa of fire burned the skakadi. The battle lasted about twenty minutes. The toa were defeating as many skakadi as possible. Tahu was burning them the same way he did Nektan, who seemed to have fled away from the village. There was fire everywere."lets go!" Tahu ordered. They ran away from the village to a cliff. Tahu could see there was water at the bottom of it. It was daylight by now. An army of skakadi warriors was chasing them. Tahu kept running."Tahu wait your going to fall off the cliff!" yelled Gali. Tahu didn't care. He lead the group off of the cliff after the toa of earth had collapsed the ground beneath the skakadi making them fall off of the cliff. The remaining members of the group were in Freefall. And they were about to hit the water!"Lewa! Do something now!" screamed Tahu. Lewa made the air push up keeping the group up in the air. Kopaka flew down and froze the little creek beneath them. The group slowly eased on to the ice."any skakadi make it?" asked Hewkii. "no i made sure of it." said Nuparu.Tahu yelled back to the group."we'll make camp on the river bank." They set up camp by the small river. Everyone talked to eachother and ate except for Tahu, who went farther away from the camp and sat on a boulder, looking out to the open. He stayed there till dark. Takanuva came over to him."Tahu, don't blame yourself for what happened back there. It wasn't your fault." he put a hand on Tahu's shoulder. Tahu immediately pushed it off and stood up. "No Takanuva it is my fault! They trusted me and i failed them! Did you see the look on their faces? The fear in their eyes knowing that they would soon die at the hands of that skakadi? It's my fault!" Tahu looked away from Takanuva."I cant do this anymore. I cant lead us. We arent even close and we already lost half of the group. You need to lead us Takanuva. You need to get us there safely."Takanuva stood up and walked over to him. "Tahu. Your my leader. And i cant trust myself with this. That group down there is counting on you, not me! To get them home safely. Now your going to get us to this stronghold and we are going to finish this mission." with that Takanuva walked back to camp. Tahu breathed in and turned to follow Takanuve. He sat by the fire. He looked around at the group. He could see that they trusted him. That they needed him. He could see their bravery, and their fear. This mission was somehow different. Tahu looked up and saw a shooting star. Only it was strange. It was coming down. He saw it hit the ground. A bright light shot from it."Everyone stay here! Kopaka, Jaller and Ackar come with me." Ordered Tahu.He led them to the area where the rock fell. They hid behind a rock."Now listen, we dont know whats over there. It could be nothing or it could be the toughest being ever created. Be prepaired. Tahu lef the group around the rock. They saw a body rise from the crater created. Tahu raised his blade. "Stop! Show yourself!"The being turned around."Tahu put your sword down!" said AckarThe being walked toward the group. Tahu was surprised. The being was wearing the mask of life."Mata-nui! I thought we would never see you again!" said Ackar. Tahu, Kopaka and Jaller were stunned. They had never seen Mata-nui in toa form. "Hello my friends. There is much i must explain. Lead me to the rest of your group." The group sat in a circle around the fire as Mata-nui began speaking. "My friends it is wonderful to see you again. Some of you have never seen my toa form. Well now you have. Unfortunately i am not here with good news. As you know i had been resting in the mask of life since Makuta was killed. But i fear that his death will not last long.""Hold on. What do you mean not last long?" said Takanuva."you are on a journey to defeat an army of skrall inside a great stronghold. But you don't know the true reason they have banded together." said Mata-nui."We were told they were planing an attack." said Tahu"They are but not alone. The skrall are being led by Metus and Stronus. The skrall have discovered an object of power. They build the stronghold around it. It has the power to bring back those from the dead. The skrall believe it is a weapon. Only Metus knows the truth.""Whats his plan?" asked Tahu."He wants to bring back the brotherhood of makuta from the dead. He will strike an alliance with Teridax, making them the most unstoppable force on the planet. We need to destroy that object. Otherwise Teridax will control all.""Alright then. What are we waiting for?" said Hewkii. "lets go bash some skrall heads!" he said standing up. "Yeah!" said the rest of the group."Lets give them a message they will never forget!" said Kongu."We will destroy them!" said Strakk."Well then I'm glad to see you excited." said Mata-nui.Jaller helped Hahli up. She was still weak but she could hold up in a fight. "Are you strong enough to move on?" asked Jaller."Ill be fine. Don't worry about me so much." she said smiling.Tahu and Mata-nui were at the front of the line."So how many skrall are at this place?" asked Tahu"More than you would think. Like I said its an army."Said Mata-nui"So a lot." said Tahu."yes" Said Mata-nui. "lots of skrall"Tahu worried for his team. They weren't even close and already they had lost half the team."Do you have any extra weapons?" asked Mata-nui."ask Ackar, we may have a thornax launcher or two."Said Tahu.Mata-nui went over to Ackar and got a thornax launcher. He went back up to Tahu."ill be back. Im going to go find another vorox tale and make a sword for myself."said Mata-nui."alright. Stay safe." Said Tahu.Mata-nui went off. He didnt have to travel far to find a vorox. It charged at him. He grabbed it with his hands and threw it at a rock. He took his launcher out and shot the vorox in the head. He walked over to it and grabbed its tale. He pulled it off with ease and put it to his head, changing it into an exact copy of the sword he used to have. He made his way back to the group."Im ba-" the ground started to shake. Suddenly Vezon emerged from the ground."We are going far away!" he said. And with a swipe of his staff the entire group was brought to another dimension.Vezon stood over Tahu. He could smell Vezon's terrible breath in his face."whats wrong toa?" Vezon said. "To much odor?" He went over to the toa mahri."well if it isn't my old friends."He went over to Jaller."and you must be the one who shot me with that blasted Zamor and froze me in time. Well your in a dimension were I am the highest power there is." he said.Then the piraka came out from behind him."I brought poor Zaktan here back from his grave and separated the rest from the golden being. They are my slaves now." he said. "only cowards have slaves!" said Jaller."i hate you the most Jaller! I wouldn't go picking fights it i were you!" Vezon said as he put his blade to Jaller's neck. Jaller just starred at him."what are you doing toa?" Jaller didn't say a word. He just looked at Vezon with hate in his eyes. Suddenly Vezon was hit in the face with a flame."Ahhhhhhh! My eyes!" he yelled as he wondered around the small hut he had imprisoned the group in. Jaller was free."Kill them! Kill them!" Jaller wasted no time. He released all of his companions with one flame. They took on the piraka. The battle was quick. The toa fought off the six piraka with ease. Jaller led them in a quick assault. The piraka were extremely outnumbered. The toa blasted them almost to death but the piraka wouldn't give up easily. They prepared for another attack but were knocked back down not long after. The hut was destroyed by now and the piraka. Continued their assault. The toa once again clashed with the piraka, this time in close combat but the piraka were still defated. The toa started to hit the piraka instead of just pushing them back down. Vezon was still laying on the ground in agony. Jaller had burned his eyes and blinded him. But he was still controling the piraka. He thought that the piraka were dead because if they were alive at the beginning of the battle they would be dead by now. Vezon was controlling their dead bodies. With that Jaller went up to Zaktan and sloced his neck. "What are you doing Jaller? You just broke the toa code!" yelled Tahu."Look!" Jaller said. Zaktan was still moving without his head. "they were already dead. Vezon is controlling their dead bodies!" he burned Zaktan to dust. The toa then did the same with the rest of them. Destroying the piraka's dead bodies. All that was left was Vezon.Jaller tied him to a post."What are you doing! Help i cant see!" Yelled Vezon."thats not my problem." said Jaller."Your toa! You cant kill!""Im not." said Jaller." now bring us back to our dimension!""Fine. Fine." said Vezon.The group was warped back to their dimension. But they were in a different spot."were are we?" asked Tahu"about 30 miles from your destination." Said VezonTahu couldn't believe it. Vezon just got them almost to their objective. They could be there in two days at least. Gali went over to Vezon. She put water on his eyes. His blindness was cured."there. We cant just leave you here after that. But if you ever come back to our dimension I wont be so generous!" she saidVezon teleported back to his own dimension." Lets get moving." said Mata-nui.It was late at night. Metus had snuck away from the skrall. He had been doing this every night since the discovery of the object. He walked down the tall stone hallway to a great chamber. It was a gigantic blue crystal. Most of it was underground. Only part of it was above."I'm here." said Metus"Good! Its about time. How much longer do we have to stay in this terrible prison. Im sick of It!" yelled Antroz."Easy now. In a day or two you all will be free." said Metus.The faces of the Makuta were in the stone. They were not physically there. The spirits of the makuta were imprisoned in the stone."There is a... Minor problem though." said Metus"What! What? Whats the problem?" said Krika."Well a small group of warriors is on its way to attack the stronghold... But no big deal, i have an army here.""Metus... Are these warriors toa by any chance?" said Antroz"Well...""Do you have any idea how powerful one toa is? Let alone a group of them!""Don't worry I-""What is happening here!" it was Teridax. His face appeared in the blue crystal."Is my brother with this group of toa?" "...yes..." said Metus."Mata-nui can not be allowed to come here! Metus you kill him no mater what the cost! If he gets here we will never be brought back! Never! Understood?""Yes. Of course master Teridax. Mata-nui will not set foot in this stronghold. You have my word. In fact ill send five of my greatest assassins to kill him right now. You know them. After all, they are the entire reason you rebelled against Mata-nui."The group had stopped to eat. They had just defeated a small skrall patrol on its way to the stronghold. It wasn't too difficult but they were tired. Mata-nui had shown the group many things in the short time they had been together. He hunted them food and was when needed an excellent fighter."Well, well, well look who it is" The group turned around to see a familiar face"Agnus! What are you doing here?" asked Tahu"Marendar was here not long ago. Im tracking him" said Agnus."Marendar has escaped?" said Mata-nui surprised."yes he has. And he's wondering the planet killing everything he sees. Thank the great beings you haven't run into him yet." said Agnus. "Anyway I thought it might be good for you to know that i passed a group of five terrifying beings not far back. They look extremely dangerous." Said AgnusJaller looked up at the grey warrior."The Barraki?" he asked.The word sent chills down the Toa Mahri's spines. They must be working as bounty hunters for the skrall. They must be here to find us. Agnus how far back were they?""About a mile back""We have to fight them or they will sneak up on us. We wont even know it." said Nuparu.I will take my team and fight them off. Its time we settle our differences" said Jaller He got his team."Stay here for us. If we aren't back in an hour then we are dead or dying and you have to move on." with that Jaller and his team went towards the location of the barraki. After walking for about ten minutes the Mahri finally saw the barraki. The 10 stood across from each other waiting for the other side to move. It was Kahlma who Attacked first. He used his tentacle to push Jaller back. Hahli blasted him with water almost drowning him. Kahlma recovered fast. Just as Hahli was about to make a second attack, Ehlek grabbed her and threw her to the ground. Kongo shot at him. Ehlek dodged the darts. Hewkii sliced at Pridak. Pridak hit his blade agains Hewkii's until he found the right time. He hit Hewkii in the chest and he fell backward. Nuparu came up behind Pridak."What do you think your doing?" he saidHe grabbed Pridak and threw him agains a rock. Nuparu raised the ground around Pridak imprisoning him inside a wall made of the ground. He turned to an even bigger surprise. Mantax was right behind him and swung at him. Nupary blocked it with his shield and tried to push him back. He looked over at Hewkii, who was getting up. Hewkii launched a rock at Mantax. It hit him directly in the face and knocked him backward. Hewkii made aCircular stone around him. Mantax was stuck."Two down three to go." said NuparuJaller was in a fight against Kahlma. Jaller had the upper hand but he was distracted by Takadox, who was fighting with Hahli. Jaller ducked and dodged Kahlma's attack. He jumped at him from below and tackled him to the ground. He made a ring of fire around Kahlma so he couldn't move. Jaller made his way over to Takadox and hit him on the head. Takadox fell to the ground. He looked up at Hahli. "What are you going to do? Splash me?" he mockedJaller walked over"How about burn?" he said as he lit up his blade. The toa all went over to Ehlek and surrounded him."go tell your little skrall buddies what happened here! And tell them that we are on our way!" said Jaller.With that Ehlek ran from the toa. The team turned and looked at the four remaining barraki. "Cage them Hewkii." ordered Jaller. They dragged the Barraki to where Hewkii was standing."See ya later!" he said waving his hand as a cage of stone rose from the ground and trapped the Barraki."Lets get back to the group. Were on the final stretch. Tahu will want to finish this." said JallerThe toa Mahri walked the mile back to the group. It was during this time that they realized how dangerous this mission could really turn out to be. When they arrived back at the group, they were greeted by Mata-nui."what happened?" he asked"The barraki wont be any more trouble. There all caged up." said Kongu."good. Tahu wants to cover as much ground as possible before dark."Mata-nui led the the group on. Tahu had been exhausted. The stress of this mission had made him tired. He had pretty much passed the leadership position on to Mata-nui. And it gave time for Tahu to talk to the rest of his team. It was the first nice conversation he had, had for quite some time."Hold on!" yelled Mata-nui.The group came to a stop. There was a deep trench in the ground."is there any way to go around it?" asked Tahu."not for a few miles" said Mata-nui."If we go around it we will be delayed a day or two. We may be too late to stop Teridax.""Then we move through it. We can handle whatever is down there easily!" Tahu said.There was a narrow path down into the trench. "Watch your step." Mata-nui yelled back. It was a long way down if they fell. In the pit it got darker every step. "You see any movement Mata-nui?" asked Takanuva."Non yet. But what is this?" Mata-nui said as he aimed his blade at a giant spider web."oh no." said Pohotu. "I know what this is!"Suddenly a small disk came out of nowhere and hit Kopaka in the shoulder."Kopaka!" yelled Tahu. He ran over to him. The spot he was hit seemed to be poisoned. He looked to the side. There was a Rhotuka laying right next to him!Tahu looked over at where the spinner had come from. He grabbed his blade and walked to a large crack in the rock he looked up and his eyes widened."Ruuuuuuun!" he yelled back.Visorak were running out of the small crack in the wall. Tahu picked up Kopaka and threw him over his shoulder."Don't worry brother. We're getting you out of here!" he said to Kopaka.Spinners were flying everywhere. The toa shot back but for every time they fired ten more spinners came towards them. "Look! This way!" yelled Mata-nuiHe pointed at what looked like stairs. They were headed straight up the large wall made of stone."Go! Go!" yelled TahuThe group climbed up the stairs trying not to trip and dodging spinners from the visorak down below."There climbing!" yelled Tahu."Almost to the top!" said Mata-nui as he shot beams of light at the Visorak. "Tahu go!" said Takanuva "ill hold them off! Get Kopaka out of here.""Ill come find you! I promise!" said Tahu."Go Tahu! Get out of here."Tahu started slowly climbing the stairs. He took one last look at Takanuva, knowing he may never see him again."Go!" yelled TakanuvaHe was shooting beams of light from his staff's. One of the visorak made it to his position. Takanuva hit it with the blade of his staff. It was hopeless. The climbed up faster. Tahu looked away before Takanuva was overwhelmed. He closed his eyes."No! Nooooooo!" he screamed.Mata-nui came down to Tahu and Kopaka."Come on Tahu we have to move!"Tahu kept moving. The last thing he heard was the familiar voice of Takanuva."Noooo! Noooooo! Ahhhhhhhh! Noooooo!" Takanuva screamed as he was finally overwelmed. The group finally reached the top of the cliff. Onua created an entire building. In the center he created a table."Put Kopaka on this."Tahu put Kopaka on the table. The entire group looked in on him. He was mutating into a toa hordika. It was already changing his face. Tahu ran outside.Mata-nui followed him."I have to go back! I have to!" yelled Tahu. "I promised him I would find him!"Mata-nui put a hand on his shoulder."Tahu... There was nothing you could do. There is nothing you can do. Takanuva is dead. We have to focus on Kopaka." "No! There has to be some way to cure Kopaka and find Takanuva!" said Tahu."I don't know about Takanuva but i do know how to save Kopaka. Inside the fang of a visorak is an anti-venom. It could save him. But it is difficult. You must remove a fang from one without getting bit." said Mata-nui."Whatever the cost!" said Tahu. "I wont let anyone else die.""Ill assemble a team to go down wi-" Mata-nui was interrupted by Tahu."No. Im going alone on this one. No one else will die because of me.""Then I will go" said Mata-nui."no. No one else." said Tahu.He grabbed his sword and put it on his back."Ill be back by sunrise. If not you bring the group to the stronghold and you stop the skrall." said TahuAnd with that he left. He stepped onto the stairs and descended into the darkness. Tahu was surrounded by darkness and shadows. The only light around was the light of his sword. He had no idea if there was anything or anyone around him. For all he knew there were visorak everywhere. He turned a corner and heard crawling. He hid behind a rock that looked like a pillar. He saw a red and green visorak walking side by side. He waited till they passed. Then he walked to the next stone and hid. He needed to find a visorak alone. And he would have to find Takanuva. Tahu was slowly making his way to a little cave to see if Takanuva was in it. He heard another crawling sound and froze. He slowly turned around and saw a blue visorak. It screeched as loud as it could. Tahu knew that within minutes every visorak around would be at this very spot. He acted fast and grabbed the visoraks fang. He pulled and put his foot between the two fangs so it couldn't poison him as well."Come on. Come on!"He yanked as hard as he could."Just a little more!"He ripped it out of the visorak. It retreated and screamed in pain. Tahu ran as fast as he could into the small cave. He sat in a dark corner and waited. If the visorak came he would make fires everywhere, making it impossible for the visorak to hear him."Who's there?" came a voice from behind him.Tahu got up and turned around fast. He lit up his sword to see who was behind him."Takanuva your alive!" said Tahu."Quick help me down." said Takanuva. He was covered in webs but was not poisoned. Tahu burnt down the webs and set Takanuva free. "We have to move now. There is anti venom in this fang. We can save Kopaka." said Tahu"Shhhhh! Not so loud. Look." Takanuva pointed outside of he cave there. Was a dozen visorak right outside."What are we waiting for!" said Tahu.Flames burst from his sword and went straight towards the visorak. It burned them and rocketed them against the stones surrounding them."Lets go!" said Tahu as he and Takanuva ran.Outside they saw hundreds of visorak climbing down the cliff towards the two toa."This way!" said Takanuva and led Tahu down a path between two stones. The visorak followed them down the narrow path. Tahu looked back and burned them. He made fire in the path so the visorak could not come closer but within a few seconds they hade made it through. There was rhotuka flying everywhere. Tahu was able to deflect most of them but some of them struck the ground right below their feet."Follow me!" said TahuHe led Takanuva to the stairway and they began to climb. "I wont loose you this time!" yelled Tahu and shot flames down the cliff, making all of the visorak fall off into the crowd of other visorak."Lets go!" he said and him and Takanuva climbed as fast as they could."Just a little more!" said Tahu."alright!" said Takanuva.He moved his foot and began to slip. Tahu reacted quickly and grabbed him by the wrist."Not this time!" he said and pulled Takanuva up. The reached the top of the cliff but the visorak were still climbing."Watch out!" yelled Onua and collapsed the cliff the visorak were climbing, giving Tahu and Takanuva a narrow escpe."come brother, we're loosing him!" said Onua.Tahu brought the fang to Mata-nui. He extracted the anti-venom."Here you go Kopaka." said Mata-nui. Tahu opened Kopaka's mouth and Mata-nui poured the liquid into Kopaka's mouth. He instantly started to change back to his normal self"He will need to rest. We will stay here till the morning. Then we complete our mission."Kopaka awoke to the worst headache he had ever known."Oww my head." he said."Lay down. You need to rest." said Mata-nui."What happened?" asked Kopaka."you were poisoned by visorak. And Takanuva was taken captive by then. Tahu saved you both by himself. He went down and got you the anti-venom you needed." said Mata-nui"Kopak! How are you?" asked Tahu as he came into the hut.""Ive been better. But i want to finish the mission today. No mater what." said Kopaka."we will. We have been waiting for you to wake up. Can you walk?" asked Tahu."I think so" said Kopaka.He got to his feet and slowly started walking around."Feels fine." said Kopaka."If you need it we can stay and rest." said Tahu."Actually Tahu but... We cant do that. Teridax will awaken sometime today. We cant afford to wait here or there will be war." said Mata-nui."Mata-nui is right. We need to finish this today." said Kopaka."all right brother" said Tahu.The three turned and slowly walked out of the hut. During the morning Mata-nui had found a pathway across the trench of visorak. They would be safe if they took that way. "All right team, we have come a long way! And our mission is almost over! Once we cross this trench we will be only a mile or two away from the stronghold! We are going to make it after all! Come on! Lets go show these skrall how the toa do it!." said Tahu. The group moved over the trench. Sometimes they would shoot down and try to hit the visorak crawling below. It was a short distance. The trench, as it turns out was not very long at all. There was a collection of giant stones that formed a bridge over the trench. It was wide enough for the entire group to cross at a time. On the other side there was a hill about a mile up. The area they were in was still a sandy desert. The hill looked like a giant pile of sand. On the other side was the stronghold the toa desperately fought to get to. The group crossed the trench with ease. "We are on the final stretch! In a few minutes we will be fighting the skrall! And once again vanquishing the makuta. Don't give up now! It almost over."Said Tahu.The group slowly climbed the tall hill. They were exhausted from the night before. It took them longer than expected to reach the top. The entire trip took about twenty minutes. Once at the top they could see all around. Then Tahu laid his eyes on it for the first time. The great stronghold. It was massive."Somewhere in there is the most evil being in the universe" he thought to himself. But it was not only Tahu who was worried. Mata-nui feared the most. He knew the amount of power Teridax had. How if he awakened, the entire mission would be in-vain. He feared about his powerful brother. "You have destroyed everything I had!" Yelled a familiar voice. Tahu turned and saw his old enemy."We end this here Nektann." said Tahu. "You and me. Fair fight.""Sounds like a plan." said Nektann.Tahu and Nektann took their stance. "nobody help me with this. Me and Nektann alone." said Tahu. He advanced towards the blue skakadi. Nektann raised his blade."Only one of us will come out of this alive! And I plan to live for a very long time!" said Nektann."We will see." said Tahu calmly.He ran at Nektann with his sword pointed out. It started to glow and the second it clashed with Nektann's blade, sparks flew. Tahu fell backwards. Nektann walked forward and prepared to kill Tahu. At the last minute Tahu kicked Nektann's leg and tripped him. Nektann fell to his knees. Tahu got up and hit Nektann onto his back. Nektann quickly sprung up and tried to hit Tahu but his strike was blocked by Tahu. With his extra hand, Tahu shot flames from his fingertips and burned Nektann's arm."Arrrrr!" Nektann yelled.Tahu ran for him and tried to strike him but was stopped. Nektann punched Tahu in the face once and prepared to hit him again. Tahu caught his hand as it was about to strike him. He had his one hand holding his sword that was pressing against Nektann's blade. And his other was holding Nektann's fist. Tahu brought his blade away from Nektann and made a quick turn. Nektann was stunned and fell forward. Tahu punched Nektann in the face and he fell onto his back. Tahu began to heat up his blade to maximum heat. Nektann slowly got up."lets finish this! Come on! Do your worst!" Nektann growled."As you wish!" said Tahu and began to run at Nektann. But He underestimated the strength of the skakadi warlord. With a quick blow, Tahu was knocked backward. He flew through the air and hit his back on the stone beneath him. Nektann advanced to him. Tahu had almost forgotten the group of toa watching the battle."Get up Tahu! Come on we have to help him!" said Takanuva."No. Wait." said Mata-nui as he put his arm agains Takanuva."He hasn't lost yet."Tahu groaned on the ground."Any last words toa?" said Nektann in a cruel voice. He put his face so close to Tahu that he could smell the disgusting, smell of skakadi breath."I take it thats a no." said Nektann."No thats not it." said Tahu. He kicked upwards on Nektann and pushed him up. Before Nektann could react, Tahu hit his blade forcing him backward. Nektann looked at his blade. The metal had melted were Tahu had hit it. As soon as Nektann looked up, Tahu was about to strike him. Nektann put his blade up in defense only for it to be sliced in two by the heat of Tahu's sword. Nektann was pushed backward toward the cliff by them. Nektann fell but caught himself on the ledge. Tahu ran over and lay down on the edge of the cliff. He extended and arm to Nektann."Grab my hand! Ill pull you up!" said Tahu. Nektann was his enemy but he couldn't let him just fall to his death."Grab it now!" said TahuNektann looked up and then down. He stared into Tahu's eyes. Then he let go of the edge and fell to his death. Tahu looked until the body had hit the ground. He turned and walked back to his friends."Lets get moving." said Tahu. "How could this be? This is impossible!" said Pohotu "I guess the turaga didn't know how big this army was after all." said Tahu The group could see from the hill that they were on. There was easily more than ten thousand skrall in the stronghold."This doesn't make a difference! They said there would be an army and thats what we got. We continue as planned." said Tahu."How? We have no other way of stoping them. We can win this!" Said Tahu.After a few minutes of arguing the group finally agreed. They would go down and fight even if it costed them their lives. The group slowly walked down the hill. Tahu led them down until they saw their first fight. Twenty skrall were in front of the gate, prepared to fight the toa. Tahu took a deep breath. He gave no orders. Instead he said only one word."Now" he whispered. "Aaaaaaaaaaaa!" Tahu yelled as he charged at the skrall. The entire group followed him, yelling as they began to fight. Tahu went up to the first skrall and made a quick swipe. The skrall tried to block it but Tahu's sword melted right through the skrall's. It fell to the ground."Fight!" he yelledAll around he saw the toa defeating the skrall with ease. They would fight for a short time until the skrall had lost its weapon. Then they would fall. Once all of the skrall were defeated the toa regrouped at the gate.Without hesitation the group busted down the gateway and ran into the crowd of skrall. Tahu led and swung at the skrall. They fell left and right. The group made a circle and covered each other. Pretty soon the group started shooting the skrall. "We have to split up! Mata-nui go and stop them from bringing back Teridax. Everybody else go-" There was a loud explosion. There was a crack in the air. The first being to come out of it was a large machine with blades on its body. It had six arms. The top two had a staff made out of large blades. On the other was a large blade. The middle two had the same launchers that exo toa had. The bottom two had claws that resembled the hands of a gadunka. It had blades on its limbs and feet. Its head was made out of many pieces. It was square. It had a wide mouth filled with sharp teeth. Its two dark eyes were right above its mouth. Behind it was Agnus. He plunged his spear into the mechanical beast. It retreated and screamed the loudest scream Tahu had ever heard. "Its Marendar. The Toa killer." said Mata-nuiThe beast shot at Agnus with its two launchers. Agnus deflected one of them and dodged the next. He made his spear into two blades and charged at Marendar. Marendar hit back but was blocked by Agnus. He swiftly moved from under the blade and hit Marendar's back. The robotic monster shot upward and once again made screamed its terrible scream.Down below the chaotic battle continued. The group had split up and was fighting on their own. Mata-nui was running up the stairs to the chamber holding the restoration stone. There were skrall waiting for Mata-nui on the stairs. He ran up to the first skrall and with a few blows, the skrall flew off the edge and onto the ground. Mata-nui shot his thornax launcher at the next skrall. He hit it on the head and the skrall instantly fell backward onto the ground. He continued to run the stairs. Knocking over the skrall as he ran. He finally reached the top stair and was greeted by two more flights of stairs. On top of that Marendar and Agnus were fighting not far from him. He tried to get to the stairs but was blocked by Marendar. Mata-nui shot beams of burning light at the machine the beast screamed and walked backward to Mata-nui. It gave Agnus enough time to shove his spear into The beasts stomach. Mata nui began to climb the stairs again. This time there were no skrall. He could see the giant blue stone that somewhere inside was the spirit of Teridax and his minions. He finally made it up the stairs to the great stone."Brother why have you come to meet me? How kind of you." said the voice of TeridaxMata-nui could see his face. The mask of darkness inside of the stone."Teridax you will never return! It can not be allowed." said Mata-nui.He was about to shatter the stone when his arms were pushed back."Is that so brother?" said Teridax.Mata-nui tried to move but Teridax was too strong."your time here is over. The era of the makuta has begun!" The stone shattered all over the stronghold. The sound was painfully loud. Every single being, including skrall looked over to where the sound came from. Mata-nui was still floating in the air. The makuta were below him. Teridax was raising his hand which kept Mata-nui floating in the air. He grabbed his staff of darkness. "I have returned brother. And i am more powerful then ever." said Teridax.He let go and Mata-nui fell to Teridax's feet. He put his staff to Mata-nui's neck."You are a fool brother." said Teridax.He was bigger than before. His body had been rebuilt and looked more devastating and strong than before. Down below Tahu was fighting the skrall. There was fire everywhere. He saw the thousands of skrall and it looked like they hadn't even made a dent. He shot flames and burned as many skrall as he could. He saw his friends slicing at the skrall. The black armored warriors fell to the ground. The toa were hitting the skrall with their blades. He saw the weapons clash and the thornax that were shot out of the launchers. He was in battle with about ten skrall at once. He quickly burned all ten of them and they fell to the ground. Tahu continued to run into more skrall when he came a cross a rahkshi. He looked around and saw an entire army of them. They shot at Tahu who dodged and blocked them. He destroyed the rahkshi with fire. It was hopeless. He saw Teridax creating the yellow warriors. The group was hopelessly outnumbered. He turned just as a skrall was about to strike him. Tahu hit it on the head and the skrall fell unconscious. He incinerated more rahkshi with his blade and began to run. He saw Takanuva fending off The skrall."Takanuva! We need to get out of here!" yelled Tahu.Takanuva followed him into the great crowd of skrall. The rest of the group followed as well. The continued to fight the army and destroy the stronghold.Back on the stair Agnus was still fighting Marendar. The machine was winning and almost had Agnus tired out."Beast! Get back to were you came from." yelled Agnus.Mata-nui jumped on the back of the robot."Agnus! Now!"He tried to stab the monster but as soon as his blade hit the beast it disappeared."What the?" said Agnus"Its gone for now but we have bigger problems. We have to get out of here now and warn the others or they wont be prepared for the attack!" said Mata-nui"I agree! But we need to get everything out of here!" said Agnus.They joined the battle down below.The group continued to fight the skrall. Tahu was leading them out of the stronghold."Give them all you can!" said TahuThe group blasted them as much as they could. The pushed the skrall back as far as they could.The group finally made it to the exit gate. "Go! Ill catch up!" said Tahu.He stood at the gate and shot a fire from his sword it was the most burning fire he had ever created. It burned every skrall trying to exit the stronghold. The rest retreated."Come on! Lets go Tahu!" said Mata-nuiHe followed the rest of the group to the side. They hid on the side of the hill and watched the skrall and rahkshi run out of the stronghold."We failed. We must return and prepare for this attack." Said Tahu."Yes you must!" yelled Agnus.He plunged his spear into the ground and knocked the toa unconscious. A second later the entire group was gone.Tahu awoke in a bunk similar to his own. Vakama was sitting next to him."What happened?" asked Tahu."Don't worry. Your group is ok. A being named Agnus teleported you here. We know of the army." Tahu got out of his bunk. He walked outside and met with his friends. The turaga followed them."alright Tahu listen. We are giving you a mission. Some disturbances in the east. The rest of us will stay here and and guard. There will be attacks." said Vakama. "everyone knows what to do."Tahu got up and went back into his hut. He packed a bag and some equipment and exited his hut. He was afraid of what might happen to their new home. But his biggest question was about Agnus. Who and what was he? He knew without him the group would all be dead right now. He also knew that a war had started the second Teridax had come back. And that he was going to play a big role in it. He walked off into the sunset with his pack and sword on his back. Uncertain of his future
