Used to go by the name Sonnax but since I gave her such an overhaul, figured she might as well be given a new name. It's latin for speed without the s at the end. (not the most original I know, but has a nice ring to it). Went with digitagrade legs to make it more suitable for running and added a tail to the spoilers/airbrakes on her back to add to her ability to manuver herself at high speeds.

Formerly a Mahri Nui sentry when she was a Matoran, Kyrehx continued to fulfill her duty as a protector after she became a Toa on Spherus Magna.

The latest version of my self-moc, built for my last article for New Elementary, comes with a pretty major life-event announcement as well; I've been hired by The LEGO Group as a Model Designer!

Order of Mata Nui Ring Brotherhood of Makuta Ring

( This is my first time starting a new topic, so if I did something wrong or posted this in the wrong section or something of the sort, please take it easy on me lol ) So, as we all know in the ending of bionicle G1, Makuta's head is blown open by a moon, mata nui restores Spherus Magna, and everyone lives happily ever after, Toa, Matoran, Agori, Glatorian etc. We also know that a matoran can be transformed into a toa in the right conditions, in example: if given a toa stone. But now that the whole fight against Makuta is over, do you think that matoran could or would want to become toa for any other reason including that they might just want to do it for "fun", or to get a power boost, since they might not have as much work anymore as they used to? And to add on to that, would they and the existing toa even have anything to do anymore aside from sparring with each other or other glatorian and fooling around etc, and would anyone actually want them around ? Is it possible that more toa could come in to existence from pre existing matoran in the current state of the Bionicle world (Spherus Magna)? Do you think they would need to? And if so, Why? I know I might be asking too much questions for just one post (and if so I apologize), but I would love to hear your opinions.

Hi everyone, I would like to show you guys what I have been doing, I have revamped the Tuyet moc I built a year ago. This is my iteration of Tuyet Front and Back view. Front and Back view with the Nui Stone and the Barbed Broadsword in her hands. Tuyet holding the Nui Stone in her hand, cautiously walking. Tuyet in darker background. ============Bonus============ The old/early Tuyet design I have built a year ago (January 12th, 2021), where she was just another Metru clone. ============Link============ Links to the backgrounds being used: http://biomediaproject.com/bmp/pictures/animations/movies/lomn-renders/ https://imgur.com/a/tNVgYWd Part packs being used: Biopack, Galva's Pack (Mask of Intangibility [V2.0]) and Khingk's Pack (Barbed Broadsword and the Nuistone). I hope you guys like this revamp of Tuyet, and please tell me what do you think of her.

Okay, onto Onua. So probably the main issues that I had with the original is that they made him super slender and the weapon. Nothing about that set shouted Thicc, bulky strong or anything else. Onua makes me think of him chiseling through rock with his bare hands/Claws. So the idea here was to make him bulky and strong. Also needed to find a way to arm him with a "ghost blaster" without using the garbage official one. So naturally the idea turned into dual gattling gun blasters with chain saw bayonets, cus why not lol Also huge inspiration for the now Canon Toa Bomonga for the arms. And huge shoutout to Ben Cossy on youtube for the lower leg design. Nice relaxed scene. Onua chills, Tahu, squats and Gali…well Gali Meditates and well floats.

All my life, people told me "You can't make Midak an Av-Matoran. He's just an Onu-Matoran oddball." Well that ends now! I do what I want, and what I want, is for Midak to be an Av-Matoran! And I didn't stop at that, I made a what-if MOC: What if he became a Toa? The build started at the feet, making them out of Rahkshi staff heads being the basic idea. The thighs use a custom piece I made myself- a standard joint but with the top axle hole rotated 90 degrees. This allowed me to make a long and narrow thighs with a bit more interesting build than a simple Inika joint. The body is a fusion of concepts between bodies I've made in the past- specifically The Recluse and the Onua revamp build I made. The waist is articulatable, made entirely of flexible ribbed hoses, while the top is the Inika Torso + Piraka Foot build I've used several times. Mashing the two took some doing, and he ended up with a pretty bulky backpack as a result, but he does have something of a crab motif, so that's fine. Also, here's a special black edition! Only at Target~ After toying with his colors a little more, I also brought this little guy in. One of the crab taxis he worked with. He hasn't forgotten them, and they still recognize him, despite his changes! His crabby occupation is also why I gave him a claw as a weapon. And the staff of light blades are of course a reference to Takanuva. I don't think the Midak Skyblaster needs explaining.

I’ve been working on revamping all 6 Toa Inika, the first on my list is Matoro. The Inika are very near and dear to my heart, this was very much a passion project for me. I’ve finished the other five, but I’m spacing out the uploads as to not spam everything all at once with many photos. A few more photos are in this Flickr Album for anyone curious. Though the majority are in this post, and in my opinion, are the best picks! I took a photo of his weapon and baseplate separately as well. I know I may have a few people raging that I’m pairing Nuva symbols with an Inika MOV but hear me out on this one: it was too good of an idea to ignore, and I don’t have any intentions of ever revamping the Toa Nuva!

Well it's been an extremely long time since I attempted anything Bionicle related but I've had a bit of a nostalgia burst lately so figured I'd give Stud.io a go. So here is my take on Tahu Mistika, thanks in no small part to the stunning Galva mask and armour parts and other extremely well made add on packs. Only thing the original adaptive Hau is good for...Target practice. Nice relaxed scene. Onua chills, Tahu, squats and Gali…well Gali Meditates and well floats.

An unnamed Toa of Fire made in Blender. Tried to imitate the O.G. Miramax style, but still keep the limbs looking like Mata limbs. Im planning to make a video with this guy Inspired by G2 concept art:

hello there, boys and girls! well i had this idea for the past 24 hours now for a topic about the Toa Mata, but with a twist! so, this time around i think we should discuss who the most Overrated and Underrated Toa Mata is! now this is all just pure opinion and does not intend to trigger folks! this is meant for fun and it acts as a way for folks on here to get to know each other based on their opinions on their favorite/not favorite Toa Mata! so let's try and keep this as civil as possible without trying to trigger people and making them rage-quit like an angry Kane-Ra bull! lol so the way it goes down is this; a user says who he/she thinks is the most Overrated Toa Mata and explain why! same goes for the Underrated Toa Mata, say who it is then explain why! then add your "Ratings" for the two Toa Mata you've selected at the end ov your post! the next user then gives their Overrated/Underrated Toa Mata + eplanations + ratings, and so on! you may disagree with a user's choices/explanations but please be nice about it! as the old saying goes; "if you can't say something nice don't say anything at all!" this is not meant to be a game, but if one is so inclined to treat it as a game (such as life itself, am i right? lol) this may have to be moved to the Games & Trivia (i think that's what it's called...) section! this will be interesting! so here we go! i'll start (ov course); Overrated Toa Mata: Tahu Reason: he's just everywhere! it seems to me that EVERYONE ranks Tahu as their favorite Toa Mata! his Kanohi Hau is like the "poster-boy" ov the six Great Kanohi, while Tau himself is the "poster-boy" for the entirety ov Bionicle's existence! sure the original Mata design is iconic and the Nuva design was good too, but when the Mistika were revealed oh boy people were ticked off! and finally the Stars Tahu came out and that sealed his fate right there! his personality i'm not the biggest fan ov but it suits him being the hot-headed leader ov the Toa Mata! it also seems as if Tahu's demeanor changed over time, which is weird! it just seems like everybody worships Tahu as the most beloved Toa ov fire in Bionicle's existence! he's a great leader, sure, but seeing him as the "poster-boy" ov Bionicle really kinda degrades his purpose as the iconic leader ov the Toa Mata! Underrated Toa Mata: Gali Reason: it seems to me Gali doesn't get as much love as she should! yes, i know, there are plenty ov Gali fans out there, BUT, i'm not seeing a lot ov them! being the only female Toa in the team she tries to keep the team together as best as she could without resorting to washing them down with her water powers! she is a kind and wise character, but if you get on her bad side you better make sure you know how to swim before she flushes you away (lol)! her Mata design is iconic although some folks don't appreciate her hook weapons! they're useful! her Nuva form is also awesome with her having actual hands! the Mistika variant was shunned by folks but i liked it! i mean, it's not her best form but it certainly isn't awful! she is caring and a good soul! she may have flaws (like her 'jokes') but they're minor! bottom line is; Gali has a special place in my heart and i just wish i knew any Gali fans out there! cuz' honestly, i don't remember seeing anyone anywhere who is a major fan ov Gali besides myself! and that's sad! Ratings: Tahu, 3/10! Gali, 9/10!

Flickr album My entry to TTV's BIONICLE Canon Contest 1: The First, in which participants build Helryx. As the first ever Toa, Helryx may lack polish, but she's built to get the job done. I imagine early Toa, such as the Toa Mata, were designed with a particular fighting style in mind. Later Toa have more refined frames well suited to a variety of fighting styles. Going with this idea, I made Helryx asymmetrical to fit her equipment. Helryx's large weapon arm lets her deal strong blows with her mace. The shoulder and knee armor on her mace side protect her when she swings. Helryx's other side features lighter armor since her large shield covers it. Even her shield is asymmetrical for a reason; it tapers toward the bottom, exposing Helryx's leg so she can quickly advance with her shield up. Feedback much appreciated!

Flickr album What the Toa Nala of Fire lacks in commanding presence he makes up for in cool. Can this engineer smolder his way to victory with thought and grit alone, or will destiny demand a blaze of glory? I wasn't planning on making this character a Metru build. I tried the torso out of idle curiosity, and since it fit the character I stuck with it. One year late for Metru March. The name Avongu was made using Tolkien's Matoran Language: [avongu "dusk" < avo-ngu, from avo "elemental light" and ngu "last, final; alone"]

I'm currently working on a screenplay for what I hope will someday become a series of BIONICLE films. I've begun with Takua activating the Toa Stones and the arrival of the Toa Mata, but after researching a little more, I'm wondering if I should go back to The Great War with the Matoran's battles with the Rahi. I'd welcome any thoughts on this, as well as any concepts for my screenplay. Thanks, the Kohrakazi project

Years ago I created 2 versions of my self moc, and haven't returned to the concept ever since. While looking back today I do think my concept at the time was a bit... edgy, I decided to stick to the designs but give them a much needed overhaul. Toa Poraru Aderyn You can find more images of them both on my Instagram feed.

I've recently found my love of Bionicle reignited and have returned to this delightful corner of the interweb after a time away. To celebrate my return, may I introduce you to the star of a new Bionicle story I'm working on: Corros, the First and Only Toa of Acid! (Working name because I'm shite at naming things!) Ready for battle, Toa Corros does not remember where he comes from or how he came to be. All he knows is that he possesses control of an element that no other Toa has: Acid. Corros is cautious when using his power, as his powerfully corrosive acid can be dangerous to both friends and foes, and it is for this reason that he travels alone. As a Toa of Acid, Corros can create, control and absorb any acid. He is near immune to any corrosive substances, and possesses the useful skill of altering the acidity of any liquid he touches, both increasing or decreasing its corrosive-ness. Corros's element is not his only unique trait; he also bears the one and only Kanohi Juule, the Mask of Kinetics, which allows him to absorb and wield kinetic energy. This mask is always on at a low level, absorbing kinetic energy around Corros and storing it for later use. Corros can then channel this energy into his weapon strikes and physical blows, or when in grave danger, even unleash all of the stored energy in a devastating wave of force. Corros takes great advantage of his mask, using it in favor of his destructive element as often as he can and even fooling some he has come across into thinking he is a Toa of Kinetics, equally unheard of but without the negative connotations that Acid may bring. In battle, Corros wields his massive Titan's Battleaxe with great proficiency, making use of his mask's powers to allow him to swing it with great strength and imbuing the edges of its blades with his acidic power to ensure his enemies are rendered unable to continue fighting. The smaller blade on the opposite end of the shaft grants Corros much greater versatility in battle, earning him a reputation as a foe most don't want to cross when all of his skills are in play. More story to come (likely sporadically) as I begin the process of actually building this poor fool. Reviews and constructive criticisms are of course encouraged, as I'm a little rusty and LDD is terribly limited. Additionally, if anyone can think of a better name for a Toa of Acid, I'm open to suggestions!
