I want to preface this by saying I very much appreciate all the work that goes into running BZP's contests.

 

But this is the third Star Wars contest we've had in recent times (after BBCC 72 and the Build With The Force contest, which had a far more open theme than this contest and still only managed to garner five entries).

 

Could we maybe avoid SW themes for future BZP contests? Pretty please?

 

I second this. As much as I enjoy star wars, I have to admit that appeal for the theme isn't very popular comparatively to BIONICLE on these forums, for obvious reasons. I like variety in contest themes as much as the next guy, but keeping things primarily to BIONICLE is probably most reasonable.

 

Not to mention I myself am not as involved in star wars to really care about making a MOC.

I'm on mobile, give me a break. Cropping on mobile is like opening a coconut with a spoon, it ain't happening, not without siginifact damage to the spoon and causing great pain to your hand.

 

On the note of the banner, it feels a bit Vorox-like in a way. Than again, the Iron Tribes I suppose are moreso scavengers than an origanized society, so something akin to a pirate flag I guess fits.

What could that even accomplish, besides not being able to take advantage of the strength of the Bionicle brand name? Of all the conceivable weaknesses of Bionicle G2, being called Bionicle wasn't one of them. I don't see any advantages to changing the name if you're creating something so fundamentally similar.

 

To be fair, it is debatable as to whether or not BIONICLE in some way or another were to come back if store would even stock shelves with the sets, given how poorly G2 apparently sold. Not calling it BIONICLE with said regards in-mind isn't too farfetched if this is taken into account. As to if it would actually work as a theme I think is dependent upon the atmosphere, ascetic, and feeling that the theme initially brings, and to evolve it on from there. Intentional or not, that's kinda how BIONICLE G1 was successful partially, other than the story and interesting sets of course. The overall atmosphere was surreal and enchanting. But that's just my two cents.

I decided to use the name Andekas since it's more befitting. It's Estonian for Talented, since I have yet to play the role of my character.

Imrukii, I admire the effort in your drawing, but please look up how to draw armor appropriately for women: breast-plates are a no-go, likewise shaped metal bras (I can only imagine how uncomfortable that must be...). Also, while it has traces of Rhomaion armor, the helmet looks like like tribal turkic in influence; perhaps it should be used for light Ostonigosa armor with appropriate changes.

Seems reasonable enough. I was really just dun-goofing around when I was drawing it. To be honest I am very clueless when it comes to drawing armor, let alone female armor. And yeah, a metal bra doesn't sound particularly fun. All parts of it I gyess can be take apart one by one and used for other things.

As for myself in recent, I am going to be starting a tuition to finish up my credits and hopefully meet new folks. I have been actually emotionally and mentally needing someone else in my life for a very long time. Cold sleepless nights alone I am literally sick from, and tired of. Replacing the sensation of another human being adjacent to me being mimicked by a heating pad and a plushie is just pathetic and I am sick and tired of it, but it seems it will have to due for I don't know how much longer, but with the summer starting those night of cold will be far more few and far between. But a proper relationship for me is down the road I hope, actual human interaction with others after nearly two years of being in my house recuperating from things that had happened to me elsewhere with a certain high school, it will be nice meeting new folks who are interested in the same things as I, it will be great I hope.

 

My mind has also been flooded wth a landslide of ideas and concepts for lore in recent for ARA and other things, got the brain juices flowing, I am also working on an animation, a simple one, but ambitious at that.

Weapon/Power 2: Akorua, The Plasma Powered Energy Sword, it's an Energy Sword meshed with the Plasma Blade, and can be split into their respective counterparts. The Sword is named after a fallen Ta-Matoran who parished during the so-called 'Last Resistance'.

Weapon/Power 3: Kanohi Kualsi, Mask of Teleportation.

That bit sticking out of your head looks like a great thing to grab onto during a battle to use as leverage to twist your neck off

 

It's a Flagpole, blame LEGO.

So I decided to color my Skrall Helmet, I definately need to practice more though.

 

UPDATE: I was bored, so I decided to make a new helmet, came out looking like a mix between greek and perhaps russian, and I think it would work for Ikonox.

 

UPDATE (again): I have created an armor set after drawing up a helemet. I am not quite sure why I made it female, but in looks kinda Rhomaion to me. I am unsure where it couldb be used exactly within Neala other than either Tajun or Vulkanus.
