More printed armor is also an option. Currently, the only Toa armor that is decorated is their torsos and Kopaka's thighs, but we know that LEGO is capable of printing so many more shell pieces. And if they share some of that printed armor then it wouldn't be a huge strain on the budget. A particular color of armor like silver or gold might not seem like a big upgrade from the many metallic parts on the current Toa sets, but silver or gold armor printed with some sort of mystical runes or enchantments? Now that's getting someplace!

But printed armor will cost more and then the prices will be outrageous.

Printed parts aren't actually significantly more expensive than any other recolor, at least not if the capability to print those parts already exists, and it's significantly LESS expensive than new molds whether or not the part has been printed before. Many basic CCBS shells can and have been printed: 4M, 5M, and 6M shells, several torso shells, not to mention the printed chest plates most of the Toa already use.
Have you seen some of their sets, there THAT expensive.

Some of whose sets? I'm not sure what you're talking about. LEGO was able to include unique printed parts in the $7 Hero Factory hero sets in 2011 and the $10 beast sets in 2014. I see no reason they couldn't include printed shells in a $15 Toa set (just like they already do for chest plates), especially if some of those printed shells had shared designs between sets like those of the 2014 Chima constraction sets. And as my brother points out, printed shells may cost money, but not nearly as much money as new molds. I can't think of any reason including a few printed shells on each Toa would require raising their prices.

    Lego's hf and WAY more.

Ok, something's wrong with the system.  I am not yelling.  But I KNOW there is a glitch in the system.

I'd like more non-humanoid builds. It's the main reason why I'm hype for LOSS & the Skull Spiders.

Agreed. I want more Rahi builds.

Yup, I've seen lots of hate for Skull Scorpio (and I have to say I do agree with lots of the criticisms) but personally I'm really hyped, he's going to be one of the first ones I get just for his uniqueness.

I'd like to see some normal wildlife and then some skeletal wildlife, like zombie life(?)

But I see G2 Bionicle being the Teen Titans Go! of Bionicle.

Just like to comment on this though, TTG was a complete flanderization of all the characters and a restructure of the show so much to the point that they're not even the same thing. The other one made one character bad at telling jokes.

True, true, but later on I can see it becoming more like TTG in comparison.

Yeah, since the horns are directly connected to their brain, one would just have to push the horns to remove the masks.

I see this as a good thing. It makes hitting the mask off easier compared to trying to get a non-blunt object to hit the back of the head. It also puts the Toa and the villains on equal footing. The villains have weapons specifically designed to catch and then rip masks off of our beloved heroes, rather than clumsily trying to get enough force in your sword swing to hit the eye stalk successfully. It only makes sense that there be a similar advantage the Toa can use against the skull villains. Every hero and villain needs a weakness. People act like that's a bad thing, when in all reality it's a very good thing when it comes to playability and imagination.

Honestly, my biggest complaint is it's still unintuitive; knocking the mask off with the horns requires an upwards swipe, and all of the Toa's weapons are designed with a downward swipe in mind.

Well, depending on how the weapon is wielded, the weapon can perform any swipe effectively. :P

  5. My Gen 2 sets will probably stay with me, but I'm starting to consider getting rid of most of my Gen 1 sets (save for the Toa Mata and Nuva and Bohrok). I love Gen 1, but they're just taking up so much space. I don't really need them at this point. The Gen 2 sets look better on display anyway and have more functionality. If there's a Gen 3, I'll likely collect those as well.

I'll most likely collect any or all Bionicle generations to come... perhaps this'll be a pattern? 10 years of Bionicle, then stop for 5, repeat? o.0
