"You coming Rider?"

"Well, I just finished this book," He said, holding up Legends of the Southern Southern Continent. "I was about to go to the library to get a new one."

Some Rahkshi probably just want to read in silence!

"What do you guys want to do?"

IC: Revenge

"I'll take some, and try to get you some businesses, but I can't guarantee anything."

IC: Revenge

"Uum, ok," said Revenge, not really shure.

IC: Revenge

"I'm fine." Revenge took a bite of his "improved" food.  "You should consider selling this."

IC: Revenge

"Thanks," replied Revenge.  "How has it been going?"

OOC: Actualy, for some reason, I thought Rider had left.

IC: Revenge

Revenge was a little disappointing when Rider left.  "Hey Po, could I get some of that plant?"

IC: Revenge

Revenge saw Rider and the others sitting together.  He quickly grabbed a tray of food and sat down by them.

IC: Revenge

Revenge closed the book and sat up.  He felt slightly hungry.  He got up and walked down to the Refactory.

Yea, Nova blasts are pretty large.  The only time one has ever been used in cannon is when Gali Nuva wiped out an entire island with a flood.

As I have said before I totaly think the more you spend the more damage your attacks may do,  if the damage was determined by a dice roll than the die you used could scale up.  Also the damage the attack does may be influenced by the specific attack, such as area-of-effect attacks or attacks that are purely tactical and do no damage on the turn they are used (I refer you to my erlier post)

 

To help determine what type of damage an attack does (whether or not types are tied to a damage type) and what additional effects some attacks may have, we should consider including a list of rules for obvious tactics like coating the floor with ice or making a wall of fire.  More unorthodox attacks like creating a giant wheel of stone would be left to the storyteller's judgement.

 

I'm not sure about how to limit the Nova blasts but I think it is safe to say that one balancing point is that, from my impressions, Nova blasts effect  an area about a mile in diameter, at least, so the chanse of KOing your team mates would be extremely high.  Perhaps the user should also be severely damaged after doing it.

I was so tempted to type portions of this post in all caps for emphasis.

Dear Book,

I just got back from the Infirmary, Rider got himself damaged in a fight.  We had gone to the gym to do some training and a Rahkshi with flame-patterns named Blaze approached us and asked if we wanted to spar.  We both wanted to but Blaze challenged Rider. I didn't quite get what was going on so I charged Blaze, In my defense Blaze never officially announced who he wanted to fight, he just attacked Rider.  Rider stopped me before I got into trouble, again.  I chose to watch.  Rider and Blaze both got banged up so I helped them get to the Infirmary.

This school is full of surprises.

After saying goodbye to Rider and Claws, Revenge walked to his room and pulled out his book.

IC: Revenge

"I'll see you later," said Revenge.  "I have something I need to do."

Is anyone at the village? I swear, every time Venge goes somewhere all the action ends up somewhere else.

You did say that he preffers to lay low.

IC: Revenge

"Well, lets get you out of here before the crowd notices another wounded Rahkshi is here."

IC: Revenge

"Well I'm only more interested," Revenge replied.  "I wonder how much my power would protect me in combat."

"Does sparing usually get like that?" Revenge asked Rider.

IC: Revenge

Revenge helped Rider and Blaze bandage themselves up.  Inexperienced, he mostly coppied what he did from Rider.

IC: Revenge

Revenge helped Rider and Blaze get to the Infirmary.

OOC: I know he isn't hurt too bad, but is it ok if we leave Blaze at the Infirmary?

"Nice to meet you Blaze," Revenge said, looking around.  "This place is quite active today isn't it."
