I saw a similar display at my Toysrus, except whoever posed them actually put some heart and dignity into it rather than... whatever they did at your Target.

I went on Amazon and nabbed Skull Slicer and Skull Basher for $12.96 each. That's a pretty nice deal if I do say so myself.

hehehe, that's funny. Earlier it said every two weeks, and even earlier they had said every three weeks elsewhere. Seems they're condensing it more and more. I mean, logically speaking, when the books come out and a majority of people out there has read them, there will be spoilers all over the place, so getting the story wrapped up before amount of time the average person with a life who isn't obsessive would read a book (I'd say a week or even two), you'd at least want to try to cover as much ground as you could before people start spoiling the story in order to keep the animations fresh for people who don't plan on reading the books, or people that were holding off so that the animations would be more surprising.

Episode 10 is now up on LEGO's YouTube channel for those of you who have a hard time loading the video on the BIONICLE site. There was also a bit of news to go along with that, the animations will be released on a weekly basis. Expect Episode 11 in English next Monday.

And functions is one of the reasons why I generally like HF over G2 The mask isn't as stable as a HF helmet, the gearbox pushes the arms 2 modules back and leaves an unsightly gap, the weapons have technic bits and bobs sticking out of them, big yellow gears, etc. Even with all its flaws, bionicle 2015 is one of the most interesting years of constraction. I find that the gearbox adds better proportions and depth to the sets (no more anatomically incorrect flat torsos), and as someone who was heavily into BIONICLE from 2001 onward: functions > no functions. Seriously, gears and functions are a big part of BIONICLE's identity to me. I also happen to really despise helmets, and hated the Glatorian era because of it. The whole concept of Kanohi Masks was infinitely cooler than that of powerless helmets that weren't masks. People like to bash on G2 for tying elements to the masks, but at least masks HAVE some sort of power. That's a heck of a lot better than the attempted soft reboot that was Bara Magna.

while there are people like that, I also noticed quite a few comments SUPPORTING CCBS and the 2015 line's place as number one. Those that hate it are in the loud minority, and they're also on Facebook. Oddly enough, I rarely come across people like that on the TTV message boards or here. I

I'm not sure how you can so snidely dismiss someone for having their masks come off easily when the masks coming off easily is what they're designed to do. I can snidely dismiss that because I'm almost always annoyingly condescending by nature, except when I'm not. I also have yet to have my morning coffee which significantly affects my personality traits. I apologize for my behavior and will try to be less condescending in the future after I get my coffee and decide to reflect on why it's a terrible decision to stay up until three in the morning then wake up at 12:00, forcing every person out there to deal with my grumpy morning person mood.

You're either moving the heads wrong, or you're flinging them violently for no reason if you're losing the masks like that. Seriously though, grab them with three fingers. Thumb on the front of the mask, the other two on the back of the head. Now, aside from my terrible condescending attitude, you shouldn't lose a mask unless you're setting them down on their backs (that's your fault), hitting the brain stalk several times (that can easily be avoided and just shows how clumsy you are), or enjoy obscenely beating your sets for no reason at all (YOU MONSTER). I've never lost a mask, and I've never had a problem with the new connection style. I also prefer it due to the fact that it makes them seem like actual masks. When you pick sets up, do yourself a favor and pick them up by the waist.

I think it's funny that people like him, people who are arrogant and refuse to look at things objectively, ignore the posts of those who prove that they're irrevocably wrong. Instead they go after the people that haven't posted the same strong argument, hoping to bluff their way through so that they can feel "right".

Glatorian kneck pieces work just fine too, as do the connections used to connect the torso armor to the protectors

Yeaaahhh NO. Those who say that CCBS is hard to use with technic are just letting nostalgia cloud their view. CCBS is 10x better than the old system. Now bow to Makuta Tarvaxx

Hey, if we could have the guy who did the Vakama voice narrating these, I'd be even more for Storyteller narrative style. I think it's a unique approach and that it fits BIONICLE very well.

I don't see how... if anything it gives more depth to the hostility between Tahu and Kopaka, which is much appreciated.

Bara Magna all over again. Yaaayyy.... (Noooooooooooooo!!) But yeah, that'd be interesting. Although it seems like Jungle and Stone get along pretty well.

What if some of the villagers don't WANT to leave for the Ancient City? It's been centuries since the great cataclysm, and the villages the newest generation inhabits is home to them now. They have no connection to the ancient city other than the fact that their great great great great grandparents might have lived there. Perhaps this is part of the conflict the Toa face? Convincing the villagers that their legacy is worth more than their current comfortability?

It kind of makes me miss BIONICLE's later years where sets (mainly villains) Would sometimes have unique parts only for their build. Takadox had his unique mantis thingies, Elek had his "Shredder" claws , Antroz had his wings and blades, Chirox had his blades, things like that. Of course this year was pretty much a test, so next year might be better when it comes to part variety.

Sorta true, though in my mind not entirely. I feel it's a little unfair to say every wave every Bionicle villains were just color swaps of each other. Later in the line the villains got a lot more creative (generally Barraki onward), though I definitely see where you're coming from, since the majority of it were clone sets. Even later sets are often criticized for being generic/plain because of the lack of innovation with every inika build figure. I'd still argue though that in some aspects the new villains don't have as much variation. For example, though they all share parts of them that make them unified, I would have loved to have seen more done to Kulta and Skull Slicer to separate them a little more as individuals and break up the same motif going on with the other villains. And although they're not color swaps of each other, it's notable that they have somewhat less inspired color schemes, which all have a similar base of greys/blacks that take up most of their bodies, and accents that are snuck around. In all honesty, though I don't own them, the skull villains have grown on me a lot since I first saw them. I always expected more of them, and to an extent still feel there is more to be desired, but they accomplish a lot of great things that makes them stand out among previous Bionicle villains. I don't know if they're the ideal set of Bionicle villains though. For me, I still feel the Barraki were the best since they had so much diversity and looked entirely different from each other in almost every way, but still managed to look unified by the underwater sea creature appearance that varied heavily for each one. They managed to look different and similar at the same time, which worked out great along side the story as well since they could be recognized as individuals more but still be a group. Perhaps that's what I'd like to see more of with the villains, though the more and more I think about it I do think it's still a good idea to have villain sets that are "drones" or "soldiers" that there are many of. Buy them. Your opinion will be very different when you have them all together in person.
-
Truthfully speaking, the only exceptions were the Barraki. I mean, I guess the Makuta from 2008 "kinda" count, but they're not varied to the point that their builds are breathtakingly different and unique. It's still pretty much "You have one you have them all".

Bingzak. Well... would you look at that... Oops.
-
Since when did the mods...? *Sigh* I'm not even going to question this anymore.

Umm... it IS a leak. The whole thing with the Toa, the creatures, Kopaka and Melum is 2016 set territory, sets that have yet to be officially released or confirmed by LEGO. They were found inside of Amazon, yes, but not placed there by LEGO. Now if the information was found hidden in LEGO's site, it'd be a different story.
-
This isn't referring to what I think it is... right? If it is... site rules prohibit it... I don't know what you think it's referring to, but I don't see anything there that would be against the rules. There has been controversy on whether Kopaka would return due to... reasons, but it ended up that he is of course, and.. well I can't really go into further territory. Let's just say people are using Malum to refer to something else. Leak season has begun, and all of this is part of recent things revolving around that.

Like, you try to create friction with the connection point in the bow and the pin. It works all the time for both my Warrior and my Vizuna.
-
When you take his bow off, angle each point a certain way and the pin should come off with the bow without any trouble.
