Toa (12/293)

  1. He has 2 xxl sets, member of the elite team and got to fight the main baddie 3 times, despite being a fresh rookie. This was kind of unfair to Evo and Nex. These 2 had a more fun and interesting personality than Rocka (who was the same as furno but more humble)
  2. probably because of violence lmao. the parents on this website are very strict in rating. But some things are kind of dark in HF. 1. Rotor tried to behead furno with his blades at the 2nd encounter. And also I somewhere read that Rotor gets the death penalty if he ever returns to his home planet. 2. Fire Lord gets defeated in a really brutal way.
  3. "If you're expecting glory, the door is over there – this is not about personal glory. If you're expecting to become a legend, same answer – the odds are, none of us will be remembered past the day we are decommissioned. But if you want to feel like you made a difference, this is the place for you." ― Thresher
  4. if they ever brought back HF they should reboot the first wave and tells us more about the past too. (OG team with thresher, stormer, von ness, stringer and bulk)
  5. Dr Wily analogy is nice. It could also explain from where all the villains come from
  6. Dark Maker (or Brain Maker) is probably the most mysterious villain in the HF universe. He's a very cunning and intelligent villain who has very good knowledge about robots and biological organisms. He somehow holds a grudge against the HF as stated in the Brain Attack episode. In this theory I will rethink the HF lore and analyze most of the characters. This might be a long read so be prepared! Let's start with what we know about Dark Maker: 1. He has an excellent understanding of robots and biological organisms. 2. He knows how to create robots and organisms. 3. He hates the factory. 4. He is the brain behind the breakout and the formation of the legion of darkness. Dark Maker could have been a robot manufacturer that built robots that protected people from criminals. Keep in mind that the Hero Factory is only 100 years old. The Dark Maker also has a mask identical to black phantom, voltix and speeda demon. In my Theory those villains are his creation. Voltix and Speeda Demon might have been robots that were built to protect people from evil. Basically Dark Maker earned his daily bread by manufacturing combat robots. When the HF was established, people prefered those Heroes over the those of Dark Maker. Hero Factory Heroes have quaza cores and are more powerfull than normal robots. The HF eventually won the competition and Dark Makers robots didn't sell anymore and got returned back to him. In order to survive and earn money for his basic needs DM had to sell his robots to crime lords and modified them to mercenaries. Rotor, xplode, meltdown, thunder and corroder might have been his creations too. Voltix and Speeda Demons memories got erased and they were sent to other criminals. Dark Maker wanted revenge on the HF and planned to destroy it. He built Black Phantom a robot who would represent himself. Then those events of the book Legion of darkness happened and Dark Maker had to make another plan. He seduced a unstable rookie (von ness) to his side and turned him into von nebula. He gave him the black hole staff that would be used for the breakout. Now that HF got canelled we sadly dont know if I was right with the theory
  7. this theory is spot on! Although I had a theory in wich dark maker created the black phantom we saw in breakout. but the alternative reality theory works to. Dark Maker could have created most of the villains we saw in the hero factory universe. While some villains like fire lord, von nebula, toxic reapa have a backstory. Some dont (Voltix, speeda demon, splitface). He could have created a lot of the villains in the HF universe to be mercenaries. Xplode, Thunder, Rotor, corroder and meltdown act like mercaneries very much. Dark Maker maybe has some sort of rivalry with Mr Makuro and wants to be the Hero Manufacturer nr1 instead. While Makuro is the nr1 DM builts mercenaries and sells them to crime lords. DM and von nebula maybe have darth vader-palpatine relationship.
  8. I have theory that the villain that planned the breakout seduced von ness to the villain side and gave him the black hole staff (that would be used for the breakout). It could also explain why the drone was sent to new stellac city. the villain had set it up to kill stormer and thresher. He instructed von ness to leave the battlezone and join the evil side. The reason why he choose von ness because of those following reasons: 1. Von Ness was a very emotional target and those are the best to manipulate. 2. Von Ness used to be a hero and could have provided insider information 3. He could have been a spy but since the new stellac plot failed, it didnt work out. Now the question is how he was able to manipulate von ness. He could have told him lies about stormers and the HF. This could also explain why he has a grudge against stormer.
  9. Ordeal of Fire kind of felt like an dlc/update to the herofactory universe
  10. 6. Invasion from Below (2014) Summary: Creatures from the underground are invading the surface and the Heroes have to stop them with mechs. This Movie barely feels like a Hero Factory movie but it's not bad. All the characters have the same personality and are not at all like from the previous movies. 5. Brain Attack (2013) Summary: A mysterious villain develops mind control alien brains and sends them to the same planet where the Hero Factory is located. When they arrive there they take control of wild animals and march to the Factory. This Movie isn't bad but also feels different from the previous movies (not as much as IFB though). The Main focus is on Breeze, Surge and Rocka. Somehow Furno is in command instead of Stormer. There are not many plotholes (although HF could have just activated the shield from breakout instead of letting surge defend the entrance, also where tf are the other heroes?!) Battles are okay in this movie not really intense or special. 4. Rise of the Rookies (2010) Summary: A former Hero that went rogue is plotting revenge on the alpha team and his former teammate that he blames on a horrible accident. The alpha team gets help from 3 rookies that have to prove themselves to be real Heroes. This Movie may be really cheesy and corny but works for being the first one in the series. There's not much character development except for Stormer and Furno (who get the most spotlight while bulk, stringer, breeze and surge are being treated as fillers and plot devices) The personalities of the villains are identical and bit of clichee. Von Nebula despite being the main antagonist and important to the plot get's only like 3 minutes of screentime and offers no real battle. The first 2 battles arent that good either. Bulk and Stringer get their asses owned by corroder, xplode and rotor in the most embarassing way and also suck at aiming. Despite those flaws the movie has a lot of interesting and dark elements. (Enemy withing perhaps being the best episode in the movie) Soundtrack in the movie is very well made. CGI models are very accurate to the lego models. ROTR was my childhood /early teenhood. 3.Ordeal of Fire (2011) Summary: A group of mining robots receive fuel sockets in their fingers so they dont have to recharge at the main base and can absorb fuel from cells just by touching them. There was no limit on how much they could they absorb and became so addicted to point they raided gas stations. Stormer, Furno, Breeze and Surge are sent to stop them but realise they need the new upgrade to be able to fight the rogue mining robots. This Movie is perhaps one of the darker ones in the series and also the shortest. Importance is finally given to Brezze and Surge. The battles have improved although the final ones are rushed. The Highlight of the movie is Fire Lord (the leader of the rogue mining bots). He is a perfect villain, has a plausible motive, did things that affected the main protagonists and managed to defeat them multiple times. His Henchmen are just filler sadly. While Drilldozer at least did some things, nitroblast and jetbug have barely screen time. ( I legit forgot that nitroblast and jetbug existed when I watched that movie). Also the sacrifice of Surge made him a better character and he developed. 2. Savage Planet (2011) Summary: A former HF professor gets exiled from makuhero city for trying to get himself a quaza core. He flies to quatros a planet that has a lot of quaza but needs it to be alive. The Heroes have to stop him and rescue a rookie that landed on that planet. This Movie is nearly perfect but suffers from some flaws. People that never watched a HF movie before might have trouble in identifying the heroes. Bulk, Stringer and Nex are finally given some importance. Rocka is a likeable character. Aldous Witch is a good villain and offers a good battle. The savage creatures surprisingly have more personality than Fire Lord Henchmen. Scorpios battle at the vines kind of sucks and is too long. 3 heroes trained in combat have problems in defeating a giant scorpion but a small gorrilla doesent for some reason. 1. Breakout (2012) Summary: There is a jailbreak at the maximum security prison of Hero Factory! Criminals like the crazed Toxic Reapa, the evil Jawblade, edgy Voltix, fast Speeda demon and the schizophrenic Splitface have broken free and are spreading chaos and destruction all across the galaxy! It is revealed that the villainous Black Phantom is behind the prison break, and that it was merely a distraction for the heroes, so he could attempt to destroy Hero Factory's Assembly Tower while they were recapturing the escapees. Stormer, Stringer, Evo, Surge and Furno are sent on missions to catch and cuff the villains, while Rocka remains at Hero Factory to stop Black Phantom, who already has the mission managers neutralized, and destroy his Arachnix pet. This is probably the darkest and most mature Movie in the series. A lot of variety, the plot is good, villains are credible but are in terms of personality very similar. Soundtrack rocks. The battles are nice even though they all are orchestered in a same order (Hero tries to auto cuff villain but fails, Villain gets the hero in a critical state, Hero gets back up ,defeats villain and cuffs him) The Heroes are all given importance. Rocka has the most development and becomes a professional. Black Phantom is cunning and clever, perfect for the main villain. Even though his battle is short it's creative. Movie ends with a hyping cliff hanger.
  11. Nex flirted wirh daniella too in ep5. He's a communication expert afterall. Stringer and Bulk should have appeared more often IMO, they are veterans afterall. (They were present when Von Nebula was still a Hero, that's ancient) Although Bulk was absent in Breakout (movie) he managed to return in BA and IFB. Stringer on the other hand was gone after Breakout. Even though Surge is the comic relief, Stringer is funnier.
  12. I boycotted HF back in 2010 as a loyal bionicle fan but over the years I got attached to it especially because of ordela of fire. I owned almost every set from ordeal of fire I owned all sets from savage planet I owned all sets from breakout From Brain attack and IFB I only owned few sets.
  13. I actually like all the heroes equally. I mean cmon they all are likeable (except von ness and core hunter)
  14. yep. This is one of the reasons I like stringer. He was the funniest character in breakout.
  15. Black Phantom is awesome no doubt. I actually was hyped back in 2012 for wave 2 because of voltix.. Even though his color scheme is weird he looks very good. Also he was in breakout. Von Nebula is awesome setwise and conceptwise but I wish they had given him a better motive. Fire Lord was so cool in the movie but his set wasn't that great but im used to it now
