  1. Name: Paradox Variation: Teleportation Level: Two Gender: Male Gear: Jagged slab of protosteel fashioned into a large kanabo like club. Semi-reinforced protosteel foot plates [because I refuse to say Feet Additions in terms of equipment/gear]. A satchel that contains only a device with a prerecorded message. Appearance: Looks like a Panrahk, even has the spines of one, but in certain areas in and around the joints, there appear to be worn down patches revealing green and blue metal. Tall, and solidly built, but walks with a slight hunch, as if in a perpetual state of readiness to pounce. Personality: Violent, and rather mentally unstable when engaged in combat. Just as likely as to attack friends as he is to attack enemies. When in not engaged in fighting, he frequently argues with himself, threatening an unseen or imaginary figure, saying that he'll "stab them with a brain knife, make them bleed thought juice and smear it over the walls". Whenever alone, he talks to shadows as if they're a person of high respect, reassuring them, saying he'll do his job, because he wouldn't be there otherwise. Good hunters always do their job. Bio: [bio has been discussed with Sergi over the Corpus discord]
  2. OOC: And here comes the yelly boi! Forb has nearly reached critical mass! Protecc the Lost fren! IC: Grakata New voices in social settings always put Grakata at a disadvantage. Effort to put voices to faces, then faces to names, it was tiring. The knowledge of new people was worth it, but there had to have been a better way of going about it. New voices in social settings, however, were NOT supposed to nearly throw you off balance and make you fall flat on your butt. Blinking away the surprise in a vain attempt to make the room stop spinning, with a bit of focus he locks onto the visual of a new Rahkshi, a purple Rahkshi, with bag and chalkboard on their person. New voice... BIG voice... Big voice came from THAT?! "Hello... Strange... Friend... You are rather new." As with Lost, the black Rahkshi placed his free hand upon his chest before extending it towards the new, apparent, student. "Grakata. My grey green friend here goes by Lost. You are...?"
  3. IC: Grakata The black Rahkshi turns, facing his smaller compatriot, but breaking his stride. "Everything? Rather ambitious. You'll need help with that." Turning back around, he plants one end of his staff on the ground to assist with a turn. "I will help you." It'd be cruel to not help. This school would eat him alive without mercy... In all context of the phrase "Stay close, refectory is just down here."
  4. IC: Grakata Lazily skating once more to the refectory, Grakata looks over his shoulder, making sure Lost is following close behind. This rahk isn't going to last long on his own... Someone's gotta look out for him... "So, Lost, what do you want to learn here?" OOC: oooo Grakata, you have NO idea how right you are
  5. IC: Grakata Just how far has this Rahkshi traveled? Grakata skates on over to Lost after closing the door. "Best not to wander too far. Corpus Rahkshi is big. Come, food's this way." OOC: Oh Grakata, you have no idea the amount of protecc you will be doing.
  6. IC: Grakata "Sent...?" Grakata mouths the word again, mulling it over his tongue. He didn't like how that word tasted. Something about the circumstances of all this made his stomach growl in protest. Some makuta REALLY did not like this... Lost... How has this Rahkshi survived for so long? He shakes his head briefly. A thought process for later, when there was time for it. For now, looks like the Causeway is going to have to wait. "Well, you must've traveled far." The black Rahkshi steps to the side. "Come. Food."
  7. IC: Grakata "Then I guess Lost is your name. What brings you here?"
  8. IC: Grakata Clearly a Makuta has little faith in this small one... Sending them here, of all places, so unprepared? I wouldn't wish that fate on anyone... "Yes, Grakata is my name. Is Lost your name?"
  9. IC: Grakata Well aren't YOU fresh from the spawning tube... "Yes, a name. Something you call yourself. An identity."
  10. IC:Grakata And the award of obvious question goes to... "Ah, sorry, wrong question. Your name?"
  11. IC: Grakata Like crashing hard into a wall, Grakata's train of thought derailed completely, the voice of another Rahkshi catching him off guard. Shaking his head as if dazed, his eyes darted around to track the origin of the greeting, only to lock onto a gray and green Rahkshi, with a simple staff and an extended hand. Blinking, the question finally registers in his head. "This place? Yes, Corpus Rahkshi." Briefly mimicking the same gesture, Grakata extends his free hand. "Grakata. You are...?"
  12. IC: Grakata Within time, Grakata arrives at the refectory. Without a second thought, like before, he lazily skates towards the sludge dispensary, using his staff to help in turning and corners. Let's see... Mystery sludge... Grey sludge... Mystery... Grey... Both? Both. Grabbing a clean bowl as he skates by, he slows down upon reaching the food, proceeding to spoon himself two scoops of the grey and mystery sludge. After taking a moment or two to eat and gain some semblance of being awake, Grakata sets his bowl aside and stretches one last time. "Bleugh... Should probably see if the cauldron has salt... Oh well. Time for the Causeway." With a bit more purpose in his strides, the black Rahkshi skates with momentum toward the entrance of Corpus. Remember, build momentum. Reach the edge. Jump, THEN fly to first pillar. Use quake breakers ONLY to launch or change direction. Focus on landing before exhaustion sets in... hopefully. The skating finally stops upon Grakata reaching the doors, and with a hand and a shoulder, pushing one side wide open.
  13. OOC: Well, not bad for Grakata's first interaction! Open for further interaction if anyone needs another set of hands for shenanigans! IC: Grakata "Best of luck, then." Grakata pushes himself forward with his staff just enough to resume his lazily skating towards the refectory. Wonder what kind of sludge they're serving... Meh, don't know... Don't care... Need food...
  14. IC: Grakata "Hmm... Well... Heading to refectory myself... Then probably going to Gym to see what the assignment is... Maybe head to the Causeway if assignment is too full."
  15. IC: Grakata An assignment? But food though... Screw it, grab and go. "Assignment? What is it?"
  16. IC: Grakata "Sounds fun." Sounds tedious. Grakata stretches again, stifling a yawn. "What's all going on today?"
  17. IC: Grakata "Draco... Nice name. Short. Not complicated." Grakata used the extended hand to scratch a nonexistent itch on his chest before gripping his staff and leaning against it. "Headed to refectory." He nodded past the tall Rahkshi. "Where you off to?"
  18. IC: Grakata Grakata stopped his skating at the voice of another. Interaction before food? His stomach grumbled in protest. To early, need food. He thought to himself. Oh well, not everyday starts with food. Might as well talk. Looking over at the Rahkshi, he finds himself looking up more than usual. Rather tall. Interesting. "Flying...? Oh." Grakata shrugs, then places his free hand on his chest before extending it out to the Rahkshi in front of him. "Grakata. You are...?"
  19. IC: Grakatas wakes up in his dormitory, groggy as all Karzahni. Dreams rarely stay, and sleep is always heavy, but the prospect of bland, tasteless food begrudgingly spurs him to climb out of bed and don his armor. Shin plate, fasten. Thigh plate, fasten. Forearm, fasten. Rinse and repeat till it's all on. Taking a moment to stretch, he wanders over to where the cupboard is on the wall, retrieving the pair of quake breakers underneath it and fastening one after the other to his feet. Grunting a note of satisfaction, he grabs his staff from the corner next to the door, then lazily skates to the refectory. OOC: Open for interaction. Don't gank me, i'm new
  20. Huzzah! Oh fraptious day, caloo calay!
  21. Hello, all! I'm rather new here, and after a bit of confusion, have finally found the right place to post this! I've posted this once before, but that was on the actual Corpus Rahkshi thread, but thankfully i'm posting it here in the correct place this time Name: Grakatas Variation: Accuracy Level: Two Gender: Male Gear: Additional armor; legs/forearms only. Quake Breakers. Quake Breaker Staff. [OOC: in terminology I can understand, the additional armor is basically medium armor out of something like D&d, or a video game, it's not standard Rahkshi armor, but it isn't Keetongu levels of armor plating, basically an in-between. Will provide further clarification if needed.] Appearance: Stockier legs, stockier forearms. Shorter than standard Rahkshi, more Toa sized. Looks similar to a standard Vorahk otherwise. [OOC: I have pictures of MoC, if visual is required] Personality: Thinking isn't really a strong trait for him, outside of social interaction. Combat tends to involve "Look at target, find weakest point, hit until target is not moving", wash/rinse/repeat. Talking is easier than thinking, though not by much. Sentences tend to consist of one to a handful of words. He is rather polite however. Bio: Outside of classes, things have been very routine. However, there were some defining moments for Grakatas. His acquisition of two sets of Quake Breakers is the most memorable thing for him. The second most memorable thing is equipping thicker armor, because of the realization that momentum, or the sudden stop more accurately, hurts. A lot. One pair of breakers he wears on his feet, the other pair, with the help of the Ghosts, were fashioned into a staff of absorption. Nothing compares to the thrill of navigating the Chirox Causeway, however, a frequent pastime of his. Something about the momentum of jumping from pillar to pillar is rather enjoyable.
  22. OOC: Ah, thanks for the help! Is there a link to the student register, so I can post the information to the correct spot?
  23. Hello, one and all! I'm rather new to BZPower here, and i was recommended to Corpus Rahkshi by 0nuku from DeviantArt. Not entirely sure what they go by here, but i know that they're a part of this, and i'm not gonna lie when i say that Corpus Rahkshi caught my interest. I don't entirely know who all I have to send this to in order for approval, but here's the information Name: Grakatas Variation: Accuracy Level: Two Gender: Male Gear: Additional armor; legs/forearms only.
