  1. IC: Vulimai (Kini-Koro) "Freeze his mask to his face? That...Is an admittedly extreme assumption. But, if this compulsion kept me from even attempting to remove mine, than maybe if someone else were to attempt to remove their mask, they may just resort to such an extreme." "But if you wish, you may accompany me to speak with Aspect Whisper, but I am currently doing my usual patrols, after which I shall speak with her." OOC: @Harvali
  2. IC: Vulimai (Kini-Koro) Entering Kini-Koro and beginning to follow her usual patrol route, surveying the well-being and further constructions of the village as she went, she halted as a familiar voice came from behind her, calling for her attention. “Akiri Vulimai. I do have a question. Not on the matter we were discussing, I … you and Stannis spoke wisely. That is all I will say.” Standing at attention and listening to the question of Kanohi, her posture momentarily sagged as the subject of the question was spoken. Letting out a withdrawn sigh, Vulimai reassumed her prior posture. "Call me commander, councilor. I'm no Akiri, just fulling the position till someone else is willing to do what is best for the Matoran." Reaching up her hand to her darkened mask, her eyes going past Kanohi's shoulder as she continued, "As for any side-effects, other than the physical changes to the Kanohi, I have not found any other side-effects...Actually...There is one I have found, rather recently. These masks, they hold a compulsion that prevents one from removing them. I don't know if they can't physically be removed, but I myself cannot remove my mask. Against even my own volition." A slighted tone pervading throughout her words, as she proceeded the second half of Kanohi's question. "I don't know if Aspect Whisper herself didn't know about this, or simply didn't share it. I do personally intend to ask her though which is the case. But as for my own personal opinion of who Whisper is as a...Person? Well, I do not know if my opinion is more valuable than someone who has actually spent time with them, but I do personally believe I have a unique perspective on them." "Before Aspect Whisper's offer of desecration was offered to the Matoran, myself and her struck a deal. For a day, she would inhabit my body, learning how it feels to be actually alive as she said. Beyond sharing a body, I, and I presume her as well, were able to peer into each other's mind. Nothing much more than surface emotions, but that was enough for me to gauge her...I...At least trust she is not a threat. She is odd, yes, but she also seems child-like, ignorant and easily enamored by the world around herself. Her wish...To be alive. I do not see any threat coming from it." "The only thing that unsettles me in earnest is the cold emptiness that her powers induce. Being possessed, desecrated, bearing this mask, they are not pleasant feelings. But that is what I think of Aspect Whisper, Councilor Kanohi." OOC: @Harvali IC: Drukarus (Fort Nektann) "Very well." With no further words, Drukarus led the way through the halls of the fort as he now sought the warlord Barius. OOC: @Conway @Burnmad
  3. No, you're right. The afflicted are at Ko-Pou, outside the ruins itself.
  4. IC: Bronk (Ko-Pou) The League ship had picked up an injured Toa and was bringing them somewhere to be tended too, that would probably be worth informing Vulimai, but that was news that could be shared later, Bronk thought to himself as he waited for the Vortixx to past through he portal. But before they did, they spoke to Bronk. ”But before I go... what’s really going on around here? I heard something about an infection or affliction.” "Ah..." Bronk simply said before continuing, "...Well, I don't know if ya noticed thuh little structure just outside of thuh ruins, but it seems sum affliction has affected a small portion of thuh Matoran, turnin' them into Rahi. We've been keepin' them here, feedin' them, watchin' them, tendin' tuh them as best we can. Thankfully whatever it is isn't transferable. As far as we know for certain...Will that be all ma'am?" OOC: @Daniel the Finlander
  5. IC: Bronk (Ko-Pou) Since the message with and the departure of the airship from the Relic Fields, nerves and tensions amongst the guards slowly began to unwind. But they were still wound enough for many of the Matoran to be more than just suspicious of the Vortixx who approached the outpost. Most of the questions were simple things, like; were have you been? Who are you? What are you doing here? Do you work for the League? Bronk for the meantime was doing his job as quartermaster, and was inspecting the items the Vortixx brought and cataloging them. Not like they were going into the armory, but old habits die hard Bronk supposed. Eventually, when he was at last done, he returned the satchel of scavenged items to the Vortixx, his demeanor much calmer looking than the others around him. "Apologies for thuh hold up Ms. Niidak, as ya might understand, a League ship was spotted not too long ago, an' it has gotten everybody strun' up. But, ya seem like thuh trustworthy sort, or well, at least as trustworthy as I can tell. No offense intended." Guiding Niidak further into the ruins, two guards following along after him, the four of them eventually reached the NUVA room, where six Matoran stood on guard. Gesturing towards the portal, Bronk spoke up once more. "Here's thuh portal ma'am. Apologies for thuh inconvenience, as well as for this." Looking towards the other two guards that followed them in, Bronk informed them to go and escort Niidak to Kini-Koro itself and then return for the rest of their shifts. "Naw offense intended, but I do recognize yer face a month back in Metru-Koro, an' we all are still concerned 'bout thuh League. But, just don't cause naw trouble and ya should be good." And with that, Niidak was free to head to Kini-Koro. With a small escort. OOC: @Daniel the Finlander
  6. IC: Commander Vulimai (Kini-Koro) Vulimai snarled as the Toa of Air flew away, beyond her reach. The guards near her were about to throw their disks before Vulimai raised a hand for them to lower it. “I don’t really think this calls for an arrest. Let her go, save arrests for people who are seriously looking to cause harm.” Staring towards Atamai, Vulimai's optics stabbed daggers through the Toa NUVA, "Whether intentional or not, that Toa could have cause both damage and harm with their idiocy. In addition to that, the sounds of those rockets going off could have alerted anyone within a mile or more, considering how sound bounce off these valley's wall. Their actions could easily draw unneeded attention to Kini-Koro. I don't know who they are, but I can already tell they are both a threat to themselves and to those around them." Turning back towards the guards that still stood at attention behind her, them standing unsure of what to do, Vulimai addressed them in her commanding tone, "Return to your posts, spread the word amongst the guard, that Toa is not allowed to dwell within the perimeter of Kini-Koro and that any who see her must inform me immediately. Understood." Receiving a firm nod from the gathered Matoran, Vulimai dismissed them as she gave a final look at those attending, a headache starting to form. "The rest of you. You are dismissed to return to your day...I have more work to do." Vulimai grumbled to herself as she marched off. She could hardly think of anything that would make today any worse. 7. IC: Commander Vulimai (Outside Kini-Koro) "Uhhhh, you know...just doing my daily exercises and drills...normal stuff. Got good lungs on you." Catching the Onu-Disk as it returned to her, Vulimai slotted it back into her shield just in case as she eyed the Toa, anger and accusation on her face. "Exercises? Drills!? Do you not realized you are are mere Bios outside of Kini-Koro! Do you have any sort of common sense Toa or is your brain literally nothing but Air! If you were any shorter, I'd grab you by the side of your head and shake it to see if I could at least Hear the rattle of whatever Brain is in there!" As Vulimai continued her tirade, coming from the village came half-a-dozen rattled Matoran guards, disks and weapons in hand as they backed their commander. Using all of her effort to reclaim her composure, Vulimai addressed Skyra in a far more level, yet still fury-filled voice, "For disturbing the peace and endangering the lives of my charges, I am hereby placing you under arrest. Toa Atamai, your assistance." Vulimai ordered out to the Toa NUVA. OOC: @Snelly @Tarn @Harvali @EmperorWhenua @~Xemnas~ @BULiK @Toru Nui IC: Apex, Aspect of the Beast (Kumu-Peninsula, Shrine of Shadow) "That is...Odd to say the least. Usually a deal is struck with the offering of a heartlight. Or, as I have recently learned, through the direct implantation of a worm. But that is an odd situation in either terms." OOC: @Toru Nui
  8. IC: Vulimai (Outside of Kini-Koro) "I counsel against this raid." Vulimai only solemnly nodded in response to Stannis' counsel. Though she finds the sage to be insuffereable with his lack of tack and seriousness most of the time, she was most certainly surprised and impressed by the sudden shift in the Toa's words, conviction and wisdom in each word he spoke. It was enough to make Vulimai start to believe at least half-of the legends concerning the Wanderer. Directing her attention to NU and Kanohi, she addressed the two of them, "Toa Stannis has offered us his counsel, and I will side with him. Kini-Koro will not support this action. I'm sorry Kanohi, but my charges take precedence. I hope this doesn't strain the relationship between our two villages." Beginning to step away from the group, Vulimai only walked about a bio before the sound of explosives began to ring out overhead as Matoran and other Protoderms alike begin to scrabble for cover, flashes of the bombing of Metru-Koro putting them into a near-panic. Fear turning into militant instinct, Vulimai whirled around to locate the source of the attack, seeing what appeared to be a Toa recklessly firing off explosives into the air. Slotting a freeze disk into her shield-launcher, Vulimai leveled the shot and fired the disk at the trigger hand of Skyra, intending to prevent her from firing the weapon. Following her shot, Vulimai pulled out her collapsed halberd from the strap on her hip, it currently resembling more of a handaxe than a halberd, as she messaged the guard to arrive on her position armed and ready, she herself approaching the Toa. "WHAT IN BRAKAS-FILLED KARZHANI DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING!" Vulimai ordered, her voice bellowing out with all the fury and indignation of a Order-Member drill sergeant. 9. IC: The Gadunka (RNN Radio Barge, Outside Naho Bay) Sleeping within the warm heat of the Zakazian sun, a De-Skakdi slept upon a foldout lounge chair, a wide-brim hat pulled over his eyes. It was a peaceful and lovely sleep...Till a sound awoke the Skakdi, or rather, the lack of sound. Almost immediately, he realized that the music playlist that had been playing for the past six hours had ended, leaving dead air and static to come out of the station. Frantically turning over from his seat, the De-Skakdi fell over and flopped onto the deck of his ship as scrambled to get to the radio set-up within the main cabin. Tossing open the door, he ran as he tried his best to not to trip over any of the cables running about the floor as he near-threw himself into his revolving chair and pulled on his pair of headphones. Tuning into the broadcast, he winced has the grating sound of static pierced his ears, him quickly turning the sound down into a sub-whisper, which to him was a comfortable volume. Now readied and settled, he briefly took several deep breathes, focusing his mind into that of the one the audience want - not some De-Skakdi NEET - They wanted...Their lord and master. * Hey, Hey, Hey my lovely listeners! It is I, your god, The Gadunka... Apologies for the dead air, I just wanted to remind all of you just how blessed you are, for living in world where I exist! * "D'ere ya go. Jus need ta keep it goin'" The De-Skakdi thought to himself anxiously. * Now then, normally, I would go on about the weather and the news and the latest happenings, but honestly, what is there to tell?...Except for the apocalypse itself! Now now my adoring fans, sorry if that word scares any of you, but hey, we're Skakdi, we're built for the apocalypse, if we didn't somehow start this whole mess ourselves, heheha! * * I mean honestly, half the island is either sinking into the ocean or sinking into the sands, and the latter of which is most certainly because of those Mesi. Who knew they had it in them? I just wish that they are at least able to now hear the enlightenment that my dulcet tones bring to all of you already. * "Pits! Is d'at too much, will d'ey take meh as a Mesi sympathizer?" Sweat began to run down the De-Skakdi's face. * But onto some real news now. It seems that the big, bad, old Boss, is dead, Irrnak spare his sorry soul. But not only is he dead, but that Tahtorak, well...Its him, Nektann himself. Seems like even in death, Boss got what he wanted and wiped out what he would call the pit stain of Zakaz. But, we all know the Rig was the peak of Skakdi society. As for whose in charge of old Fort Nektann now, well, my fans from the inside tell me its some Ko-Skak known as Barius. * * And this Barius, well he's got himself a lovely little entourage. Apparently an Aspect calling itself Parnassus as aligned itself with the newly-made warlord and get this...There is another Bo-Skakdi with him going by Drukarus who comes from that head on the horizon, truly something from out of this world. But this outsider isn't alone, as a master chef of a Skakdi going by Gore Fury is also hold up at the old fort. Now don't let the name fool you, from the rumors I've heard, he's a party animal and potentially even the best cook on Zakaz. Maybe Barius will be kind enough to grant any who cross him a final meal from this Gore fellow before he sends them to the pit. * "Ok, jus one mor bit...But...Do I really want'a throw d'ose little guys under da rig?" He was beginning to lightly bite at the claw of his thumb, uncertain if he should share the next bit of news. * And one last thing before I tragically leave you once more. Those refugees, from the head...Well...It seems they realized Zakaz wasn't to their liking and all fled back into their little city, or whatever it is inside of there. So, if any of you all want something loot and pillage, I'd recommend checking out that head on the horizon...Assuming you can cross the moat that is, hehehah! * * Well, that's all the news I got for you all, send in your calls and questions and I'll answer them when I get back on the air. In the mean time, let me once more play that record for you all. Here's a special tune, for the end of the world. * Letting the music blare out onto the radio in the background, he let out a deep sigh, wiping the sweat off his brow has he rolled away from the console before him. Grabbing a half-empty bottle of liquor, he took a deep sip of it as the pit in his stomach remained. "Ya...It's da end of da world alrite..." He said as he planted his face into his hands. OOC: To anyone with a Radio, enjoy this Riggers-News-Network Bi-Weekly Broadcast, you'll be hearing more of me, soon.
  10. IC: Apex (Kumu-Peninsula, Shrine of Shadow) "I...See..." Apex said half-convincingly, when in reality, the term Steltian did not register within her mind in the slightest. Quickly inhaling this 'Waveahks' stench, Apex found herself momentarily repulsed, as the same unmistakable rot that has taken hold within much of the Fau Swamp and its inhabitants festered throughout this ones form, masking whatever scent a pure Steltian would offer. But that was not the only scent that she gleaned, as another scent filled her nostrils, a most familiar scent, the scent of a Kraata worm. Eyeing the Steltian, Apex' dark and sunken gazed search his mutated body in search of the worm she smelled, continuing in her growling speech, "...Not that I am curious but...Why do you seek knowledge, when you already bear the stench of one marked by my kin?" OOC: @Toru Nui @Burnmad IC: Vulimai (Outside of Kini-Koro) Vulimai sighed at Stannis' reaction, and though she expected the sage to have questions of his own, she was to focused with getting the task at hand done then to fully answer it. "To remove the Vahki from Aurax' control. But, before we commit to this mission, I need to know. If we were to sever ties with whomever we send and they fail, do you believe that Aurax would accept out lack of involvement?" OOC: @EmperorWhenua @BULiK @Tarn @Harvali @Toru Nui
  11. IC: Vulimai (Kini-Koro) "I will go with you and tell you what you need to know." Pulling her hand away from Stannis' cloak, she gave a curt apology to the old sage for the admittedly unneeded use of force, before gesturing for him, as well as Kanohi and NU, to follow along after her as she turned around. This was not information the Matoran needed to hear and Vulimai was. But as Vulimai turned to leave, she caught brief sight of Whisper, and for a brief moment, glared towards the Aspect. Moving away from Kini-Koro, just outside of earshot of the village, Vulimai made sure that the two councilors of Tobduk-Koro were present, though not noticing the presence or absence of Toa Nale or Knichou, whether or not either were inclined to follow along. "Toa Stannis...Councilor Kanohi and Councilor NU8020S have come here proposing a mission." Vulimai said as she gestured to the two other beings, "They wish to remove the Vahki from Aurax' control. I'm personally more concerned about the consequences of this plan, both in whether we succeed or fail. Currently, the biggest concern is reigniting war if this plan fails but...Councilor NU made the suggestion that whoever we send, we cut away all ties, proclaim them to be a rogue element. Do you think your...Deal, with Aurax, would make him believe such a statement?" OOC: @BULiK @EmperorWhenua @Toru Nui @Harvali @Tarn @Nato the Traveler
  12. IC: Drukarus (Fort Nektann) Silence pervaded the hall, the shadows lurking around Parnassus as Drukarus contemplated the words of the demon before himself. Drukarus was no blind fool, and his prior meeting with Stannis - Caedast, revealed enough information for him to surmise what Parnassus desired. A light, a life, a heart. That which he himself lacks. Stoically, the warlord at last spoke. "Do not hide your words behind omissions, for I know what you seek...You desire a life, one that you yourself cannot or will not offer, a life that you must take..." Drukarus said, as he placed his right hand on Parnassus' shoulder with a firm yet not fierce grip, "Your worry is needless, for you forget who you are amongst...We are Skakdi and this is Zakaz, war and bloodshed are what makes this land and its people...Soon, we will march again, but for now I have words with Barius. If you wish to join, so be it." And so, Drukarus removed his grip as he took a step back, turning his head down the hall as he subtly wiped away his bleeding nostril. He would pause for but a moment, to see whether the demon behind him would follow his steps, or fade back into darkness. OOC: @Conway IC: Vulimai (Kini-Koro) "Vulimai, I must admit you're back sooner than expected." Approaching Stannis, Vulimai was in absolute military mode and wasn't in the mood for distractions nor foolishness, not even acknowledging the arrival of Skyra nor the conversation between Nale and Knichou, she needed answers from Stannis and she was going to get them. Reaching up, not even offering a hello nor a pardon, Vulimai grabbed at the sage's cloak and went to pull Stannis' attention down to meet Vulimai's tense gaze as she tersely spoke to them. "Stannis, I'm not in the mood for your vaguery's nor games. There is a matter of importance and I need information that I know you have. So follow me and answer our questions. Understood?" Although Vulimai ended her statement with a question, the certainty in her speech made it an absolute statement. OOC: @EmperorWhenua @Harvali @Toru Nui @Snelly @Nato the Traveler @Eyru @BULiK
  13. IC: Vulimai (Kini-Nui, Ampling Alp) Snapping her gaze towards Nale a lot faster than she anticipated, the deepest, most serious face was upon Vulimai's face as she addressed the Toa. "No...I'm fine. Come on, we need to find Stannis. We need his input if we are to get the full picture, after that, we can begin planning in earnest." Leaving the lounge, Vulimai swiftly stepped out of the airship and began to head towards Kini-Koro, her armor reading her emotions and movements and enhancing her pace. Hopefully the rest of those in attendance were able to keep up with the Commander. OOC: @Tarn @Harvali @Nato the Traveler @EmperorWhenua @Eyru @Toru Nui
  14. IC: Vulimai (Kini-Nui, Ampling Alp) "Well, I would tell you more, but Toa Stannis himself has left the details to vaguery. We would have to ask him personally for his input." Vulimai turned her head as she mumbled something to herself. "And it is fine Councilor Kanohi. You may be young, but that just means you have more room to grow. And honestly, I would consider you more fit to lead in peace rather than in strife, which I continue to hope for." At the mention of Kanohi's comment about his discomfort on textures, Vulimai reached up to her mask to momentarily remove it. During her rehabilitation and training, endurance was one of the foremost traits taught to the Matoran; that included being able to keep consciousness without one's mask. Most Matoran couldn't last more than a minute, but Vulimai was stubborn, and more than once it became relevant on the fields of battle for her to be able to stay awake without a mask. But when she attempted to remove it, before she could even place her hands on it, a cold grasp held her joints in place. Although it was not noticeable, her body shuddered and strained against this force, this primal emotion within her mind, screaming at her to not even touch the mask, no matter how hard she fought. And eventually, Vulimai broke as she lowered her hand, a cold sweat faintly upon her brow. OOC: @Toru Nui @Tarn @Harvali
  15. IC: Apex (Kumu-Peninsula, Shrine of Shadow) Standing before the shrine door, Apex only lightly payed attention to the approach of Waveahk as she gazed at the door, old memories rising within her mind. That moment, her false birth, where she was nothing more than a desperate shade amongst the wispy shadows. It was a memory she was surprised she still could remember, yet other memories, like those that had spurred her on her wish, still being vague, distant thoughts. And then the green wisps of lost kin began to circle around them, Apex batting at them, willing them to rid themselves, yet still recoiling as their serpentine forms caressed her vessel. And then, the world took a noticeable shift as the bonfire and the other two behind Apex, Morangad, and Waveahk vanished. It was a shift and sensation that caused her form to bristle on end, her attention momentarily being taken by the door before her, the red sign glowing ominously towards her, beckoning her for an offering. Turning her head away quickly and with a shake of her head, Apex at last decided to face Waveahk and addressed the truly bizarre being before them. "What is it you desire of me.....Uhm...Uhhhh....Whatever you are?" OOC: @Burnmad @Toru Nui
  16. IC: Vulimai (Kini-Nui, Ampling Alp) Vulimai listened to everyone speak, with varying reactions. Vulimai wasn't sure what Nale had meant when she said that they weren't going to even accept the mission, seems a bit to early to give up. NU spoke the harsh truth, a vague idea that Vulimai was hesitant to vocalize but she herself couldn't deny as the best option. And Kanohi...Hopeful Kanohi. "I understand the basis for the idea Kanohi, but I do not think that anyone within Kini-Koro has the capacity to create such Kanohi, let alone more than one. Though, Councilor NU, apologies if this may offend you but...Didn't one of your Vahki companions recently met their end? Toa Knichou could theoretically learn how to create more Vahki from their remains." Turning her attention specifically onto Kanohi, Vulimai felt like this was important to share to the young councilor, "Whether we are too call it as such or not, to attempt to unshackle the Vahki from Aurax' control will be an act of war...And war demands sacrifices. Councilor NU is not wrong. But, perhaps with whatever control Toa Stannis has over Aurax, we may be able to avoid war in the event this fails. But we will need to ask him first." OOC: @Tarn @Toru Nui @Harvali
  17. IC: Drukarus (Fort Nektann) "Helper...An odd term." Drukarus processed what knowledge he gleaned as he considered Detsu's words. His concern was to his own kind, not to this demon...But...If Stannis was willing to bargain with them, then Drukarus would be willing to humor this proposal. "I'm not sure what you mean...But...I suppose, I shall at least listen to what this request may be." OOC: @Conway
  18. IC: Drukarus (Fort Nektann) "I see...What a coincidence." It was painfully obvious what was happening here, as even though Detsu spoke with the cant of a fellow companion, they still spoke on the behalf of the demon Parnassus. The only question that remained, was why? Although he could continue the banter, back and forth, Drukarus was a Skakdi of wise words, not subtle tricky words, and he could only endure so much. Allowing his mind to open, a deep, cold, heavy emptiness filled his chest as he attempted to learn what Detsu's purpose was by surveying the surface of his mind. But even as he graced Detsu's mind, his eyes and scrying extended past towards Parnassus, who he also attempted to glean knowledge from his surface thoughts. OOC: @Conway
  19. IC: Vulimai (Kini-Nui, Ampling Alp) Vulimai listened to all Kanohi had to say, and weighed the value of all he had spoke. He was noble, truly. He did not bare the same calloused scars that war left. But he was also naïve. He didn't want the Vahki to be slaves no more, but Vulimai knew the truth. The only one the Vahki were slaves under were Dume at best, and at worst, they were the slave masters over the Matoran. But that didn't matter anymore, that was the past, and the past was dead. What mattered was the now, and the future. What Kanohi was a deadly proposition, most likely put into his head by the Squad Mother that stood to his side. The Vahki were vital to Aurax' rule, that was true and evident when Vulimai asked Iradra what had occurred and at least attempted to interrogate Ostrox and Achro on the matter. One thing was made very evident by their testimonies, Aurax could have most certainly been overthrown if it wasn't for the Vahki. To remove the Vahki, would remove Aurax' control over the sinking city... But...To fail...It could bring about war all over again. Vulimai wasn't sure if the remaining League forces would be willing to fight on Aurax' behalf, as she knew the Vahki weren't capable of extending beyond the reach of their hives. But even if they weren't, Aurax, from what Knichou spoke of him, would never let such a slight against him to go without some form of reprisal, one that Vulimai feared. It was a complicated matter, a coin flip really. One side, victory, and the potential removal of a threat. The other, failure, if not Aurax' wrath, then at worst, someone from the League itself taking his place, someone who wasn't bound by Stannis' 'deal' and is foolishly willing to finish what Pridak had started. Although Vulimai wanted to immediately answer with a resounding no, that Kini-Koro would not support such an action; she recognized that such an outright answer wouldn't simply lead to this discussion being dropped. No, it would only cause tensions between the leaders, as she doubted that NU would relent on the subject, and Kanohi, being the noble and naïve Matoran he was, would attempt to keep on pushing. No, she needed to give compromise a chance. She wasn't going to be like Dume, not like Sans, she wasn't going to be fools like them. "Councilor Kanohi...Councilor NU...I recognize your concerns, but I cannot approve of this idea, yet. Though I agree, the Vahki should be removed from Aurax' control, I do not desire to draw the ire of the ruler of Metru-Nui like my predecessor before did...At least not without assurances on my charge's safety if this plan fails." OOC: @Tarn @Harvali @Toru Nui
  20. IC: Drukarus (Fort Nektann) "I don't wish for nothing," Drukarus was saddened by the answer, for it spoke volumes at how little Detsu dreamed. He did not dream of a Zakaz without battle, of a Zakaz with no need for warriors, of a Zakaz were peace was ensured for every generation. It was a shame. But the words that he said did speak to both his age and his dedication as a warrior, aspects that Drukarus could appreciate at least. He would have to remember the Skakdi's name once he is able to speak with Barius. "So I'm obligated to clarify for you that it's not you that the demon is scared of. It's that tall Matoran that wandered through here -- Stannis!" "Ah, I see..." Drukarus said to himself before speaking, "Toa, he was a Toa not a Matoran. And I will agree with Parnassus there...Stannis is someone to be afraid of...Back in my home, the Toa went be many names. Some of them were mundane; the Wandering Sage, the Prophet of Mata-Nui, the Mad Fool...Others...he claimed during the great war that destroyed a universe; the Warmage, the Prophet of Death, the Oncoming Storm...Wherever he went, tides would shift, forests wane, mountains crumple. His actions can turn an imminent rout into an absolute victory for whichever side he chooses. He is to be feared...If he is met with war and not words." OOC: @Conway IC: Vulimai (Kini-Nui, The Ampling Alp) Stepping aboard the airship, Vulimai took a brief moment to survey the interior of it. It was a luxury ship, made into one for research, though neither were useful during the war. Continuing towards the rear end, Vulimai momentarily took in the view through the rear view port. She could have imagined herself here, under different circumstances, looking out towards the beauty of the valley, but those were very different circumstances, ones that were no longer possible. Moving into the room, Vulimai positioned herself next to one of the comfortable-looking chairs, standing next to it while supporting her weight on its arm. She was use to standing during meetings and official business, and so didn't care to sit in the chair next to herself. "So...What is this mission I'm hearing, and how does it concern Kini-Koro?" OOC: @Harvali @Tarn @Toru Nui
  21. I'm also currently waiting for MC approval. But no rush. I can keep waiting till you're free.
  22. No, I've been too worried to even try out the door and so I'm feeling stuck at the moment and been waiting to see what happens with Korruhn. And personally, I don't see a problem with it.
  23. I'm glad to hear that I've intrigued you. This certainly been a daunting opportunity I've taken.
  24. - Minion Profile - Name: Gore Fury Breed: Su-Skakdi (MU) Faction: Warskak Role: Quest-Giver (Fort Nektann) Brief Description: Gore is a very heavy set Skakdi of stout proportions. His neck has a thick dewlap that, alongside his chin and scalp, is covered in a bristly mass of white frills, alongside the white exposed spine indicative of his MU origins. Gore is primarily white, with his body from the shoulders up, as well as his midsection, being orange. He is always wearing his signature black, flame-printed shirt and shades. He also usually wears across his waist a thick red sash that has a fanny pack and a "Kiss the Cook" apron over his chest whenever he’s...Well...Cooking. Powers - Elemental Power of Plasma: Gore, like all Skakdi, has a latent elemental power, his being the elemental power of plasma. Gore is only able to access his elemental power when in physical content with another Skakdi. Gore’s association with plasma gives him an incredible resistance to heat, far more so than a Ta-Skakdi, as well as the ability to strain through bright sources of light. Vision Power of Heat: Gore has the vision power of heat vision. This allows him to fire beams of thermal energy out of his eyes to scorch or even melt through, most materials. But, through his many years of practice, he has managed to gain fine control over the intensity and size of the beams, allowing him to use it in cooking. Adaptive Gut: Gore is capable of consuming and swallowing nearly anything substance, including poisons, toxins, and diseases, as his digestive system is like that of a boiling cauldron. In addition, Gore gains physical properties and abilities of whatever he consumes, the length of time that Gore has access to these effects being dependent on the quantity in which he consumes. Equipment - Cooking Supplies: Gore always has around with him nearly an entire kitchen stock worth of cooking supplies, including pots, pans, ladles, forks, and knives, as well as whatever else you could find in a quality kitchen. Though he is usually loath to do so, Gore is capable of using his entire stock of reinforced ladles, tempered grilling forks, and numerous sharpened knives to fight and defend himself. But only when it is absolutely necessary. Flaw: Gore’s ultimate obsession is food, with him easily being persuaded by it. In addition, when given the opportunity, Gore will gladly overindulge himself, to the point of sending himself into a food coma. Name: The Gadunka Breed: De-Skakdi (Irnakk's Prized) Faction: Riggers Role: Quest-Giver (RNN Radio Barge) Brief Description: The Gadunka is small by Skakdi standards, most certainly lacking the built form of a fighter. Compensating his weak form, he is, by Skakdi-standards, rather handsome looking, if a bit roguish. His body is primarily a dull light grey with hints of faded black. He also wears a pair of nose-cancelling headphones that he can control the audio levels on as well as a faded, denim-gray jacket. Powers - Elemental Power of Sonics: The Gadunka, like all Skakdi, has a latent elemental power, his being the elemental power of sonics. The Gadunka is only able to access his elemental power when in physical content with another Skakdi. The Gadunka’s association with sonics gives him an incredibly acute, yet sensitive, hearing. Vision Power of Far Sight: The Gadunka has the vision power of far sight. This allows him to extend his sight to up to a Kio in distance without concentrating. But, when concentrating, The Gadunka, is essentially capable of detaching his sight from his body, allowing him to see over objects and view the entirety of Zakaz if he chooses too. The only limits to this far sight is that he is incapable of seeing through objects, so he cannot see into structures, the underground, or thick foliage. In addition, this ability to perceive is not an instantaneous effect, as he still needs to “look” for things. This power also only allows him to see, not hear, and he can be sent reeling back into his body when disturbed. History has Its Eye on You: The Gadunka has a vague sense when things are about to happen, with the feeling usually lingering days on end. This vague feeling drives him to witness these events, whether in-person or not. Since the crashing of the head of Mata-Nui, The Gadunka’s sense has not lightened up once, as he now holds a very bad feeling that something is going to happen. Equipment - RNN Radio Barge: Everything The Gadunka owns is located upon the Riggers New Network Radio Barge, his base of operations and home since leaving the Rig. On the barge, The Gadunka has all the necessities to stay alive on the sea, including fishing equipment, water purifiers, a distillery (of course), and most important of all, a radio set-up that allows him to play music and deliver news all across Zakaz. Flaw: The Gadunka’s extremely sensitive hearing has essentially forced him to self-isolate himself from the rest of Zakaz, as he lives completely alone upon his barge, the only contact to the outside world being through his constant radio broadcast. This sensitive hearing of his and constant isolation has made him fearful of others, as even a normal speaking volume still comes across as a tad too loud.
  25. IC: Drukarus (Fort Nektann) "Detsu! I could've sworn this one was Retsu...Or is my memory at last failing me? Or perhaps yet another edge to this deal with Caedast..." The warlord thought to himself, shocked at his own simple failing of mind. Perhaps it was more than his body that has suffered from the times. But regardless, Drukarus listened to Detsu's words and solemnly nodded, surprised at the stark contrast between this wizen fellow and the reckless warrior that he had fought. Perhaps he misjudged this one's value and quality. Perhaps even...If given the choice...This one wouldn't even have been a warrior; may haps they could've been a poet, or an Arthur, or even a simple scholar. "--they tend to push at their elders, you know? 'Specially when they're scared." Drukarus gave a final nod in agreement to Detsu's words, as his eyes momentarily locked with Parnassus, though the same intrusion from before was not present within them. "If he is afraid of me, then he is a wise snake...But as long as he keep his fangs in check...he will not have to truly fear my own." Drukarus said, flexing the Tahtorak's Maw before turning his gaze towards Detsu, a calm look within his eyes, "Tell me Detsu, for I am curious...If you could, what would you be? Besides a warrior amongst Barius' warskak?" OOC: @Conway
