  1. it's hardly the most obvious hoax the Bionicle fandom believed
  2. Between how downhill Disney, Pixar, Marvel, and several others have gone since this post was originally made, I might rather there not be any. If it was live-action, on Earth, it would start being closer to the Michael Bay Transformers movies than Bionicle
  3. Knowing Lego, the start and end of it was probably the tahu minifigure.
  4. that all-chrome gold matau that was a prototype for Toa Iruini
  5. agreed. it doesn't seem like a full new Lego set as much as just a fun redesign of an older Lego set.
  6. a cool build indeed. an impressive system-ization of many of tahu mata's design elements.
  7. the molds of the sword and mask no longer exist, don't they?
  8. Agreed. And on the destiny topic, even if destiny is real, it reflects badly on the morality of the person controlling it, which is equally antireligious, in which many Monotheistic religions portray their god as perfect morally.
  9. BZPower has been running for double the total amount of years Bionicle existed at this point.
  10. the gresh torso armor Mike's very well with the onua claws on the hands and feet, and the mistika claws on the upper arms.
  11. Any Lego piece works. If it's meant to be Bionicle, then it is.
  12. I have threads for a lot of them on here. I also have a lot I haven't posted yet, but i'll probably get around to it eventually.
  13. combination. the biggest one at the front is an inika neck and a glatorian neck sandwiched between two bohrok torso pieces, with a hero factory/Bionicle G2 piece for the foot. the one right behind has two Technic Liftarm Modified Fan 1 x 7 (brick link name for it), each in different colors, again sandwiched around an inika neck and a glatorian neck. The third is two bohrok head pieces sandwiches around typical hand/socket joints, specifically the CCBS updated version.
  14. sorry if this image is low-quality, these are from my Makion, Toa of Shadow moc
  15. I'm not sure this fits in Bionicle Discussion, but I'm not sure where it would go either. As for my favorite method of using technic in Bionicle and hero factory MOCs, I use two technic beams with socket and ball joint pieces at the end, for a limb piece very similar to an Inika frame of CCBS frame's limbs, but with more customizability, and often larger. (I doubt this is a particularly uncommon thing to do, but I use it in a ton of my MOCs)
  16. I didn't know it was even possible to use out-of-production parts in Ideas sets. Because they wouldn't be made with said parts.
  17. and the sets would most likely be glorified ninjago mechs
  18. there's no way that an official finishing of g1's serials are happening, unless it takes the form of Bionicle G3
  19. seems as though it may be a scam meant for the CEO of bzpower.
  20. If Bionicle projects didn't make it through, hero factory's odds are most likely quite low. Hero factory never was as successful as Bionicle, so Lego wouldn't take the risk.
  21. with how big Lego is, I'm not sure anything could
  22. It looks like if umbra was a slizer, which is immensely cool
  23. I hadn't seen that, thanks for the information.
  24. I find the timing of them revealing this somewhat unsettling
