hey guys! i thought i'd share a recent highschool art project i just completed. the idea was pretty much to create your own t-shirt design (which can be anything) to then use a silkscreen to print onto an actual piece of clothing. i decided to do a design of my favorite toa, pohatu! here's the initial concept art i made: and a practice print on a rag: my first plan was to print it on a navy shirt in orange ink, but that didnt turn out so great unfortunately (the ink was too translucent to show on dark fabric). since then i decided to print it in brown ink on this cream white hoodie and am really happy with the results. (i accidentally smudged the ink right after i took this photo but we don't talk about that 🥀🥀) im thinking of maybe putting this design up on TeePublic and possibly doing similar designs of the other toa. what do you guys think?

NOOOOOOOO i want to watch these so bad now its likely that i saw the pohatu AMV at some point from 2021-2022 but sadly i can't offer much guidance or info other than maybe i watched one lol 💀 good luck, though. i'd have loved to check this channel out

thanks!! i probably wont but I do plan to make similar practice sketches for the rest of the toa mata to get a feel for drawing bionicle characters again. then i may do some more sophisticated pieces of fanart involving them :] (starting with my favorite, pohatu lol)
