    Pokemon White 2: Day 10

    Well White Kyurem was an absolute joke. My Lucario beat it with just a drain punch and an aura sphere.
     
    Ghetsis, on the other hand... While not as hard as the previous game, he still nearly wiped me out.
     
    And then I actually had quite a difficult time in Victory Road. Up until now I had been keeping my entire team pretty well leveled above what I expected. But now half of them are below that.
     
    So as soon as I got through there I just went back to making movies.

    Caught Terrakion, beat Marlon for my final badge! (wow that was easy with Electabuzz. :3), and am messing Team Plasma up. Overall, making progress, yo.

    Had other things to do, didn't get to play a whole lot. But I did make it to right before the battle with White Kyurem! This is sure to be exciting.

    Got my sixth badge and made it through Reversal Mountain! Also visited the "Strange House." I'll admit, when the ghost girl appeared at first I was pretty freaked out lol.

    It's. So. BEAUTIFUL!
     

     
    And fun. Loads of fun.
     
    But I know it's a collector's item so I fear breaking it, so won't be playing with it too much... But dang this thing is cool. And the blade really shoots out with a lot of force! So the horror stories of the thing already breaking by the blade shooting across the room - totally realistic.
     
    But I'm still way too happy to have this and am looking forward to ACIII even more now.

    Talk about not doing much. What little I played today was spent making movies lol. But I got stuck on this one and got frustrated so eventually went back to training.

    Also faced Clay once for badge #5 but was not prepared for his Excadrill, so just shut it off and called it a night. But as I was typing this I realized I should give Lucario the balloon hold item so he can't be hit by ground type moves. So maybe I can beat him now. Hmm...

    Well, got my 5th badge and am about to get my sixth. This is also the point in the game where my team is pretty much cemented in place and I'll be hard-pressed to change it, not wanting to deal with training again... But we'll see. There's a lot that could change.
     
    Also, the Habitat List continues to be a favorite new feature of mine. It's veeery nice being able to see so clearly in-game what can be found where just at a glance. Although I have found it leaves off one-offs like legendaries, which is a bit of a shame really. (Or in my case the Volcarona I accidentally stumbled upon.) You'd think those would've been easy to program into the lists since they're only in that place.

    I've got some qualms with it, but overall I think it's a thing of beauty.

    I spent way, way too much time making movies and slowly grinding so didn't get too far yesterday. And had homework to deal with.
     
    But I got my third badge no problem. And my team's already shifted around a lot again:

    Eevee, lv. 22
    Elekid, lv. 22
    Riolu, lv. 22
    Maku, Azumarill lv. 22
     
    But now I have three things to nickname ha. This is also the first time I abandoned my main flying type ever. But I went with Pidove's line in White so wasn't really feeling like training it. Really, the shear variety in this game is almost becoming a problem lol. Just can't keep a team for long.
     
    Still having fun though!

    Let me start off by saying I didn't think being able to start off your journey with Pokemon from all generations would have such a fun factor, but it does.
     
    Anyways, I've got two badges so far. And here's my current team:

    Maku, Azurill lv. 15

    Riolu, lv. 17
     
    Tepig's gonna be renamed Pumbaa as soon as I can. Still need nicknames for Elekid and Riolu though... Yeah, I decided to nickname everyone I plan to use for even a little bit lol. First time doing that. I also used for a little while:
     
    Nikila, Mareep lv. 12 (As soon as I found I could get Elekid she got thrown away... otherwise she'd have probably stuck with me for the whole game.)
    Nala, Purrloin lv. 8
    Killik, Sewaddle lv. 8
     
    Also, as a note: If you Memory Link and are one of those people who always use the same name for Pokemon, prepare to be very confused when flashbacks refer to your old character and you think it's your current and yeah.
     
    Also also, I'm a terrible terrible terrible person because I just got addicted to Pokestar Studios. :x

    So I still haven't heard back from the repair shop, but my friends and I have all deduced separately that it was likely a motherboard issue that killed my laptop. (They also all admonished me for not going to the free computer help desk in the library that they work at, but having never had need to go there didn't think of it. Stupid, stupid, stupid me... )
     
    So all things considered it'll probably be cheaper just to buy a new one.
     
    My parents seem pretty darn adamant about me getting a Dell since my mom won't stop sending me emails about deals on Dells. Probably because we get a discount on them if ordered through my dad's office/the place I worked at this summer. But I don't know if I even want to go that route.
     
    *sigh*
     
    I don't know what to get.
     
    So I guess try to stick to Dell. What to you guys is a good laptop to look into right now?

    I decided I don't really want my Throwbots/Slizers and RoboRiders anymore.
     
    But before I go listing them on Bricklink or eBay, I was wondering if anyone here has any interest in them? If there's enough/anyone thinks there'd be enough, I'll make a trading topic for them. Whatever doesn't sell there after so long would end up on Bricklink in the end anyways.

    Fall of 3DS: July Haul

    Also can somebody explain to me how AR cards work? I bought my 3DS used (...seriously shouldn't have done that. But I could sell back for a loss and buy a new one; at least some of it will be covered) so of course didn't get any with it. But now I want to use the cards that came with preordering KH3D. And I can't shoot the freakin front of the box to even get past the tutorial. Can you simply not be viewing them online (due to having to move too much or whatever)? Seems like a waste of paper to have to print that thing out... Still will if I have to, but yeah.

    I know it doesn't seem terribly exciting, but having been watching all of the RoosterTeeth Minecraft Let's Plays, it seems like it could work perfectly well with our group. It'd be a nice, simple, easy one too. A good chance of pace.

    So Tilius has already previously shown us the awesomeness that shall be Figma Link. (Which reminds me - I still need to track one down... will probably do so after its release.)
     
    But now we have a prototype picture of the next Nintendo Figma...

    With Samus now out and many good things being said about her, I think it's a safe bet that Pit's going to be a very welcomed addition to the line. Really has me wondering who else is in the works.
     
    Oh, but that doesn't have you excited enough? Worry now... Max Factory (makers of Figma figures) have something awesome in store for us...

    Yeah yeah, there have been highly articulated action figures of these main Marvel guys plenty of times before from Hasbro. But what's produced today by them is still pretty bad - in my opinion - given they make no attempt to hide some of the joints. These will likely be highly accurate as well as articulate. Heck, just look at Link linked above (...lol) to see what I'm talking about. No obnoxiously ugly giant balls or cuts everywhere.
     
    I dunno, maybe I'm too picky. But I still think it's something to look forward to hearing more of.

    Soooo yeah. I'm excited for KH3D in a little over a week. As are 13 of us, enough to all change our names. I didn't manage to preorder Mark of Mastery though... Oh well.

    SDCC Bruticus Get!

    Managed to be online at the right moment this morning during the restock of HTS to order a SDCC Bruticus! (With out paying ludicrous eBay prices!)
     
    So glad I got this. I still think the figure looks cool and this is the only version for me.
     
    He stayed in stock for about 15 minutes too, which is surprisingly long lol. Probably because most weren't expecting it so soon, what with no guarantee of there even going to be one. Yesterday during the initial stock (which was also unannounced... seriously, Hasbro, other toy companies can announce their exclusive stock dates, why can't you?) it took 3 minutes. That 3 minutes being during the 5 minutes I took to eat my sandwich during my lunch break.
     
    But oh well. I got one and I'm happy.

    So when I bought my 3DS the other day (Yayyyyy!), I also preordered KH3D.
     
    The problem is that Gamestop is completely out of the Mark of Mastery Edition. :'( Both online and in all stores. So I just preordered the regular version...
     
    But it's already starting to bother me lol.
     
    Does anyone think it'd be worth it to cancel that preorder and get it through, say, Best Buy instead? It's a pretty cheap upgrade and actually has something useful in the form of a case for the 3DS, so I've actually really wanted this one... But I don't know if the other bonuses are worth it.
     
    What are you guys - if you're buying the game - planning on getting?
